  I intend to go for some CMOS camera,

  but I have a huge doubt before buying, the camera of menttioned above is not anywhere in this list. Nor can I see any type being supported USB device.

  The question is

  1. is a camera regardless of the interface is available for use with the LabView interface?
  2. Can I build a VI to communicate with any device image and recording of camera and take the data?

  Any kind of help or advice is greatly appreciated... I have to buy a CMOS camera and begin to run.

  I am pleased that this information has been useful, one thing I wanted to mention is that USB 3.0 has its own standard USB 3.0 Vision which is currently not supported. If this camera is also Direct Show compatible then you will be able to acquire an image using IMAQdx and manipulate all the attributes that are published to the API Live Show.

  I hope that USB 3.0 Vision will be supported in the near future, and we tentatively announced for this standard of communication for the August 2013 Vision Acquisition Softwareupdate.

• Connection problems with Arduino

  I try to get serial with my Arduino board, but I have a few problems. The card is programmed to read data series to turn on LEDs and switch off. It works with the monitor serial Arduino to COM4. But when I try to write similar instructions with Labview using VISA, it seems that I can't use it. I think I might be a problem with the unit. He would appear in MAX? Because I see not all devices when I open MAX. In addition, by using VISA, VISA Resourse name does not appear any device (I expected to see something like ASRL::Inst...)

  You say that you use VISA, but you have installed?  The error dialog box you get would be typical of someone who has no VISA drivers installed.

  I had recommended in the drivers DVD to burst again and running that.

• Are there problems with both LabVIEW (built .exe) applications running at the same time?

  If I compile two different applications of LabVIEW and connect two USB DAQ devices, is possible to run applications which the same?

  If each application is in talks with a separate device there should be no problem as far as I know. If two applications try to talk to the same device then you need to be aware that you can only perform one task at a time on a device.

• Problems with the web interface of connection vcenter 5.1

  What don't understand me, I've set up a new virtual appliance version of vcenter test 5.1, I can connect just fine using vsphere client and console, but the web interface refuses to agree with the same identifiers. What is happening with this single sign? I really do not understand.

  I stumbled upon this same question.  5.1 with the search service is completely different than 5.0, this is why the others are not working.

  Here's what I did to solve the problem.  I turned on the regeneration of SSL certificate:

  1. Navigate to https://[IP]: 5480 and connect
  2. Go to the Admin tab and press the button "Toggle the setting of certification" until activated regeneration 'certificate' displays Yes
  3. Go to the network tab and change the host name.  This will trigger a regeneration of SSL (or you can change the ip address).  I don't know if change 'localhost' to something else helped, but it can't hurt.
  4. Restart the box (restart System tab button.)

  At this point, you can look at the start-up of the machine of vcenter console messages.  You will notice some messages about detection of a new hostname or IP and regenerate a new certificate.  You will see all the services to import it again SSL ceritifcates so.

  At the end of the reset, I was able to connect to the web client to vCenter!

• Problems with tracer bulb off

  I have problems with a labview program in which IV of the data are collected using a potentiostat 600 ref of vanessa in a nested loop. The applied voltage intensifies in increments after each iteration. The data for each series are sent to a waveform curve each race as well. The problem is that it usually works perfectly when the tracer light is on (light bulb to the top toolbar), but will not take any data when turned off. There aren't usually any errors that appear in both cases and while I can see that the blood pressure measurements are produced when the light of the tracer is off, nothing does not appear in the graph.

  My first thought was that the program is simply too fast for my computer to be managed with the tracer off so I tried to add delays without result. I also tried to restart all connected, material, again to no effect.

  Hello, I am new to the community, and I have some problems with a Labview program, I received from a colleague. The program is written in Labview 8.6 and control (Guppy 160 b & w) camera and one-step translation. The camera is supposed to take 2 pictures in grayscale when the scene is in a certain position. Bmp images are safed using IMAQ writeFile.vi. For the configuration of my colleagues, it worked, but I get the following error message:

  "Error 1074396080 occurred to IMAQ Write queue.

  Possible reasons:

  IMAQ Vision: Invalid Image Type (Hex 0xBFF60450). »

  and the files that are written are empty.

  There is also no information using Labview extended regarding the IMAQ writeFile.vi. I found IMAQ 2.vi writeFile, but use it I get the same error as before. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me? Thank you in advance!

• LabVIEW Interface for installation of the Arduino

  I want to install the LabVIEW Interface for Arduino Toolkit, so I can control an Arduino Uno R3.  Say the instructions to download and install the VIPM and then you can download and install the Toolkit through the VIPM.  The only problem is that workplace of our company doesn't have access to the internet for security reasons, so the VIPM will not be able to download the Toolkit.  How can I download manually the Toolbox for a laptop without LabVIEW, save it on a usb key, then install manually on the workstation with LabVIEW?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I asked the very question sometime back and here is the answer I received. I decided to use another computer on the network for the work of the Arduino, so I never tried what was suggested.

• Satellite L870: Problem with USB to serial interface with FTDI chipset

  Hi all

  bought a L870 year last to run software amateur radio via USB to the serial interface.
  Interface uses the FTDI chipset.

  The problem I have is that the switch on the led on the interface flashes green to red several times to indicate that it works, but then must remain on green but task on every minute she goes through the same process again.

  All the controls on the drivers and the Manager of devices indicates that everything is ok. No problem with interface on computers laptops happens or advent.

  First of all, I must say that there are different models of L870 Satellite on the market supporting different hardware and software. Some are preinstalled with 8 and some Win with Win 7.

  In addition the L870 supports USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 standard.
  If you recommend to check the different USB ports and check if your software works correctly with the USB 3.0 standard.
