Problems with dg4odbc after 11 GR 2 upgrade

I have a setup of dg4odbc through oracle gateway services which allows a connection to a sybase database.

On our Oracle 10.2.0.5 database this works very well, for example:

on the 11.2.0.2.0 database Oracle, I get this:

The date field does not just happen with the squares.

When I try and run a query on the database link, I get this error:

ORA-28528: heterogeneous Services data type conversion error
ORA-02063: preceding line of 8888
28528 00000 - "heterogeneous Services data type conversion error."
* Cause: Is a type of data Oracle could not be converted to a non-Oracle
data type, or a type of data non-Oracle could not be converted
for an Oracle data type. Here are the possible reasons

-the limits of length (in the case of strings)
-invalid values passed in the conversion routines
* Action: Contact customer support of the agent vendor. If the problem is

The ODBC connection is on the same windows Server 2003 as the Oracle 11.2.0.2.0 database

something I just noticed on the table through odbc, via the link of database on our 10.2.0.5 database, the database can see in the columns of the table dates:

A problem could be the version of the gateway which is 11.2.0.1 and HS database kernel is 11.2.0.2, especially when the output of the Bridge 11.2.0.1 has been used with 11.2.0.1 release of the database and the database is then upgraded to 11.2.0.2.

In these cases, the gateway features get out of sync. To fix it, the simplest method is to recreate the HS catalog. Don't know if it was suggested earlier, or if you have already tried it:
* Connect to your Oracle database server database as sysdba user
* run the script $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catnohs
* validation;
* now recreate the HS catalog $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/caths
* validation;

the catnohs removes the catalog from the bridge and recreates the caths. As soon as you use now the gateway once again, gateway verifies that no capacity are present in the Oracle database and load capabilities in the database Oracle => again, so there is no real impact on the make.

After the recreation of the HS catalog, please check again to select it.

  • Problems with WiFi after put 10.11.2 up-to-date.

    Mid 2011 iMac.  Problems with WiFi after put 10.11.2 up-to-date.  No associated network.  Everything was fine before the update. All the pre 10.11.2 device works fine.  Anyone else having issues?  I have to disconnect and reconnect manually.  WiFi drops every 5 to 10 minutes.  Nothing has changed on the machine something of the update.

    Please do not comment on the age of the system.  Achieve a Mid 2011 arrived at a possible replacement point.  I have many other new Mac at home.  The Mid 2011 is spec'd with 16 GB of RAM, i7 and SSD.  It's always very fast.

    There are a few things to try. Keep doing this until the problem disappears.

    First of all, if you have not already, shut down the computer completely, wait about 1 minute, then restart.

    Disconnect the wifi network either via system preferences, either by pressing the "Option" key and clicking on the wifi menu bar icon.

    Reset the DHCP lease by going to system preferences > network and show Advanced Options, and then click the button to "Renew the DHCP lease" TCP/IP tab.

    You can delete the wifi network of system preferences > network > network name... then close system preferences. Then reopen and add the network in.

    You can also restart your wifi router, it erases the old connections. Most of the routers you just turn off and wait a few minutes, then restart. You can also reset your ISP modem if you have a.

    Finally, you can try to reset the PRAM and SMC on your Mac. I'll get this info here on Apple Support KBs for your particular Mac.

    Be sure to back up your computer.

    I upgraded my macbook pro to Yosemite for more than six months and since then, I have serious problems with application of fonts in browsers and many software I use. I googled the problem over and over again and nothing seems to help.

    In general, these are the main symptoms of the problem with screenshots:

    You probably have a lot of fonts installed garbage. Follow these steps to recover your Mac for only the fonts installed in OS X.

    (1) open the book fonts and choose restore fonts Standard menu. All third-party fonts will be moved out of the system and root of the fonts in the library files in a new folder next to each named (deleted) Fonts.

    2) click on the desktop so Finder is the name of the app next to the Apple logo in the upper left corner. Hold down the Option key and choose go > library. This will open your user account's library folder. Create a new empty folder on the desktop. Open the folder fonts in your user account. If there is something in it, move them to the new folder on the desktop.

    3) restart in Mode safe mode by rebooting and hold down the SHIFT key. When you reach the office (you need to log in Mode without failure), restart normally. Among other things, this erases all the cache files on the account of the user logged in Mode safe mode and resets the database of book of fonts for this account.

  • x 200 tablet, still have problems with smartaudio after driver conexant last updated.

    where the devil file complaint or tech support, whenever I call it, there are people who do not know jack whatever it is.

    I had an x 200 tablet, was seen problem with the beams stupid mistake that keep popping up.  then I updated my drivers conexant coming out who was supposed to address this problem. But it doesn't, it creates more problem.

    Now whenever it starts, an error with smartaudio.   so, it leaves me with 2 choices, or I used the former driver who does not mistake smartaudio. but the beam forming erro. or I use the new driver that will give me the error smartaudio.

    anyone has the solution let me know please.

    Yay what's up, I answer to my own problem tech.  I hope this can help some of you.  CUS we are ourselves since lenovo cannot help us with our problems. they should just all the fire so that they can sell their products cheaper. for the ppl who work there are unnecessary.

    reason for this is because it won't let you delete the folder of conexant all at once.  and remove it to ensure that the new drivers to install correctly.

    After that, simply download and install the latest drivers from the website of lenovo conexant.   Now you should get only the smartaudio error when you switch to Tablet mode or laptop.

    just go to the c:\program files\CONEXANT\SAII directory, rename the smartaudio and SAIIcpl to something else.  I just added a _ in front of her.  This way, whenever you change the mode it will not create the smartaudio error. and you can rename it back later if you wish, or if someone comes up with a better solution

    just need to do an update, while this method a bit worked, sometimes when I start I always get the beam forming the error.  It's just that it does more every time I switch between Tablet and computer laptop mode, which is better than nothing for now.

  • Problems with WIFI after sleep-wake up.

    -Wifi does not randomly after coming out of sleep.
    -Sometimes it can see the network with at least 2-3 bars, but does not connect and the Troubleshooting Wizard offers no help.
    -wifi only way to recover is to uninstall the wifi adapter driver in Device Manager and then reinstall it, and then it works fine.
    -This problem only occurs when I am a little close to the edge (still a lot within wifi range) of the router. otherwise, IE very close to router, there is no problem at all.
    n ' has not had any problems with windows 7 at first, but wifi problems randomly started upward. uninstalled the 2-3 most recent programs with Revo Uninstaller.

    Notes: thinkpad x 61 Tablet, fresh running windows 7 (not upgraded), card express 11 a/b/g wireless lan mini pci, router is an apple Airport extreme from 40 feet away with WPA2-Personal Security.

    I suggest you try the methods one by one and check below.

    Method 1:  Uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device to save power option in Device Manager and check.

    1: click on start, go to control panel. In Control Panel, click small icons to DISPLAY.
    2: find the network and sharing Center and open it.
    3: on the left side, you will see an option that says "change the map settings. Open it
    4: you'll be there, two local and wireless connections. Right-click on WIRELESS one, and then select Properties.
    5: now, click on CONFIGURE.
    6: you will see 5 tabs, click on the last one that says "power management."
    7: now simply UNCHECK the first box that says "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

    Method 2: Perform the cycle of power modem/router.

    (1) turn off the power to the modem (unplug). If there is the router turn off the power (unplug).
    (2) unplug the Ethernet cable that connects the modem to the back of the computer or router on the back of the computer. Disconnect at the end of the computer. If there is a router, follow the same steps, disconnect at the end of the computer.
    (3) shuts down the computer (not restart).
    (4) wait at least 4 minutes.
    (5) switch on the modem. If there is a router enable the router as well. Wait for the lights on the modem\router to stabilize.
    (6) connect the Ethernet cable to the computer.
    (7) turn on the computer. Now, try to connect to the internet.

    Method 3: The restore of the system on your computer.

    System Restore will take your computer state permeable when it did not face such a problem, this can be done by selecting the correct restore point.

    To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.

    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

  • Problems with scrolling after update

    IM currently using the BlueJ ide and after updating to the new system / update (macOS Sierra) there is significant lag / jitter when scrolling. This problem only occurs when you use the scrolling with two fingers with the touch pad. When I use a mouse / or click the scroll bar on the side, it seems to go well. Not sure if there is a problem with BlueJ or the new OS. Would be very interested for some suggestions on how to fix this very annoying problem. (Using a Macbook pro 13, 2015).

    I was wondering if someone could give some advice on a problem I have.

    Had an adjustable C850 Pro for a few months and worked well on Windows 8.
    I myself am then harassed and intimidated by Microsoft Update in order to install Windows 8.1 and in a moment of weakness, I succumbed (got sick of the nagging).

    Since that time, my wifi is very intermittent; either I'm on another computer write this and the laptop is essentially not connected to the internet.

    For some reason any (although I didn't try it before), I can not connect via ethernet either, so I think it's probably the driver problems. (I also tried to connect the public wifi but fails).

I try by "turning off", then "Uninstall" but 8.1 seems to re - install automatically and I don't know how to disable this option (I can try to delete the driver file, I guess, but I'm sure 8.1 covered too and will probably launch a drone to try me out ", if I do). *

    Two weeks ago I've updated my Satellite U940-103 and everything went well. There is no problem with WLAN. I use it all the time.

    What model of laptop do you have?
    Have you installed the driver for the Toshiba download page or driver provided by Windows update (sometimes classified as important update)?

  • Problem with Safari, after update

    I use a MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite, 10.10.5 - and after the last update, I have problems with Safari (version 9.1). Some Web pages I visit every day is more responsible (I get the message that the page needs to be recharged because she failed the first time, but this does not work then either).
