• Problem with PSE - 2 and the new 1.5 TB drive

  Hi all. First of all, I use my PSE - 2 recorded for several years without problem. AMD Athlon 7750 2.7 Ghz, 2.0 G memory bicoeur. WD 1 .5TB primary and WD 500 GB secondary drive. Win XP SP3. I recently had a disk fails and installed a new freshly formatted WD 1.5 TB as my boot drive. New installation of Windows XP and updates. When I install the elements, it now seems to install fine. The problem comes when I try to run the first time that I get "could not initialize Photoshop Elements because scratch disks are full '. Then elements shut, not allowing no not me nothing to do with configuring internal program. I tried unistalling and installing on the 500 GB drive, but still not the same error. I increased my page file memory does anyone know of a problem with the installation of the elements on a large drive or can anyone offer a possible solution to what I see?   I think Barbara meant photoshop 7, which was a little before pse2.

  If you hold them Alt + right Ctrl keys after starting pse2, a dialog box

  should appear allowing you to choose the drive working (keep holding

  keys until the dialog box is displayed)

  If you have a recovery partition on your hard drive, try this to choose

  the drive working, then exit pse2. Then restart pse2 and

  Preferences > Plug-ins and Scratch Disks choose your hard drive regularly to the scratch disk.

  Newer versions of the EPS, the newer less than 3 or 4 don't seem to have this problem.

  Hi, I hope this is the right place for this question and the common sense of Scripture. It is my first experience with this forum.

  Problem with Photoshop (PSE 9):

  1. I put pictures in a catalog of PES 9.
  2. For a while, everything was fine.
  3. Now, they seem to be more and more disappearing.
  4. When I click on the folder view:
     1. It is said there is no pictures here. Or
     2. It shows a small only a small proportion of the photos that are there.
  5. When I try to put the photos again, PES 9 says that they are already in the cataloge. (Too bad they can't be seen!)
  6. Photos can be "revealed in Explorer" that is why I know there is incompatibility.
  7. I have: -.
     1. some show all the pictures.
     2. optimized catalog.
     3. repaired the catalog.
     4. No selected tags.

  In any case, hope this gives enough information.

  I saw that other people have had this problem on various forums, but I have not read a response that still works.

  Anyone got any solutions?

• Problems with the installation of PSE 8 on Mac

  Hey everybody.

  First I want to apologize for my bad English. But I guess that you understand what I want to explain.

  I had a full 8 PES for the Mac Version. It was a download that was provided with a bamboo tablet, and I got a serial for this product key, also. So I downloaded the .dmg from Gigabyte to almost 1.3 and wanted to address file to install it. I had the following problem:

  When I click on "setup" - file, everything works fine (I guess), and then there is a screen that says: well, I have to translate it because I use the German Version: "system profiles are checked." It's exactly the screen once I typed my user name and password. And when I'm on this screen, it still load up to about 90% and then stops. I sometimes waited for about an hour, but it does load more.

  Of course, I thought, there was a problem with the download, so I deleted and downloaded again. The same problem.

  So I thought that, maybe, the PS5 demo version that I downloaded from the Adobe homepage will work. But no, same problem. So, it seems to have nothing to do with the file downloaded.

  I searched on the internet all day, but has not found something that helped me. I've never had any sort of photoshop or other adobe products on my mac (except for flash); and I had the newer operating system. I have an Intel MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard 10.6.6.

  I hope someone here can help me, I have seen many people having the same problem, but even has not found a way to solve it.

• Problem with 'treat multiple files' quality?

  I have pictures for my online store which can be really big zoom without distortion.  So I leave the dpi to 300, and run several tests on my mac all with the exact same start/size of the picture everything.

  1. I'm resizing in PSE 14 without using several files processing.

  2. I'm resizing in PSE 14 using several files processing.

  3. I resize preview and don't use all PSE.

  In these contexts - each time, the size of the file is greater with PSE with preview (547KO vs 114ko) - which is a big problem when I have lots of images per page.  The quality of these tests are all to minimal difference range - it is negligible.  However, the quirks start when I add a watermark to the image by using the function 'treat multiple files' - this is where it goes south on me!  Using the preview resized OR resized ESP - anyone, as soon as they get a watermark (and we are talking about only a line of tiny text at the bottom right), the quality gets worse.

  After tattooing, the size of the file on the PES to PES "multiple files" resize watermark (test 1) version will 547KO to 79 KB - and the photo quality is a noticeable difference as well.  Using the preview resized, then PSE "multiple files" (test 2) for watermark, it passes from 114 kb to 83 KB.  Not much difference in size - but I would not have expected a big difference in both cases honestly since I'm not actually resizing - but only watermarking.  But the quality of 'Trial 2' is still significantly different from the version "nothing other than the Preview" without watermark (hands down better on the version without watermark).

  I'm completely stumped on how to make good quality, very "zoomable", a watermark images that remain small in size, while maintaining quality.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

I tried to get the same result by using simple Enhance > > adjustments > > levels, but I cannot get the same result with the same settings as with the adjustment layer.

  How can I solve this?

  I saw in a tutorial that might help add a new layer above the layer of setting and then merge visible layers, but it does not work either.

  It seems that the problem is that your image size is big enough in comparison to the size of your available screen and you make your settings at roughly 18% view.

  Photoshop elements uses interpolation to show the images on the screen, so you can't really see exactly the result unless you view an image at 100% display (actual pixels)

  If you try to do the steps from the beginning with your image at 100% view, does make a difference?

  (Double-click on the Zoom tool in the Toolbox for 100% view (actual pixels))

• Problems with 7 elements

  Hello

  I have Windows Vista Home Premium on my laptop and I use Windows 8.  I use my 7 Elements since 2009.  I had problems with it - today I have tried to put some textures (layers) on one of my images and couldn't.

  Here are a few of the I'm having problems:

  1 - the name of the tools are not displayed to the top.

  2. when I use Ctrl-C to copy the texture and I use Ctrl V to apply the texture, it does not appear in my new layer.

  3 when I select a layer copy, the "mobile dash" do not appear.

  4 - layer Options are not displayed to the top.

  5 - the blue spinning pointer appeared and appears on and off.

  I think I might have to uninstall and reinstall.  So, if I do not uninstall my items, I will be able to re - install without any problem, re: codes of registration, purchase of codes or anything else?  Is there anyone that I could chat with on this subject?

  What I do is keep my fingers on the keys Shift + Ctrl + Alt before double click on the shortcut of pse 7 and then double click on the shortcut and press the keys.

  It is sometimes difficult to get the right moment.

  I was wondering if anyone else knows issues with WiFi connectivity since the upgrade to Sierra 10.12? I have not had any problems with connectivity WiFi previously on El Capitan. Now I have regular randomly loose connectivity. My internet is cable and when it is connected I have a 100% connection. My details of iMac and I have used only 10% of my storage.

  Mail will say that it is impossible to connect due to a problem with the mail server or the network. For example, the message may refer to a connection that has expired, or too many simultaneous connections:

  

  If you are connected to the Internet, but the connection has expired, your email provider might be affected by a discontinuance of service. Contact them or see their status Web page to ensure that their e-mail service is online. Examples of status pages:

  • iCloud mail status
  • Gmail status
  • Status of Yahoo mail
  • Status of the AOL mail
  • Status of Outlook e-mail
