Problems with SLI on Y510P

I have a problem with my Ideapad Y510P.

It is said in the control panel Nvidia SLI is enabled. When I use it for intensive play however there is no load on the second GPU. It simply says that the GPU load is 0% on the secondary GPU and almost 99% on the main GPU. Im running the latest version of the driver (332.21) and I have updated the VBIOS mentioned in other discussions. Well, everything should work according to the NVIDIA software.

I hope there is a fix for this already or that a person can look at the issue.

What game? Not all games support SLI.

    I'm worried if it just my adapter is faulty or would it be a problem with my AC charger plug because it's the second time he has done that.

  • Y510P problems with plug headphones

    Hello. Unfortunately, this is my first post on the forums of Lenovo.

    I bought Ideapad Y510P this week and here I first problem with it. This is a new computer, was only transported in the car, laid flat in his box. Today was the first day I tried connect headset.

    When I plug them in at bottom right part just works. The left side is all silent. When I try to hook them up slowly, only left side works until I plug them all way in and only the right side then gives sound.

    When I plug my headphones to halfway in (very difficult to achieve and the plug won't stay in all), both parties give sound properly.

    Tried it with 3 different working pairs of headphones.

    Check all the drivers (Realtek HD Audio) and it works. The work of speakers, wonderfully, only the headphone gives me problems.

    What could be wrong?

    I must say that I was pretty desperate.
    The laptop was taken instead I bought in and replaced by a new because it was within a week of purchase.

  • SLI problem with predator x 34

    Made on the top that I have to reset the native a ghost profile profile whenever I restart, but I also have to reset my prreferences SLI.

    On top of that if I choose the SLI in full glass applications, I'm fine. The monitor reports 100 Hz and I can play my games at 100 Hz.  Even though I'm playing games in windowed mode.

    If I turn it on to SLI in Full and Windowed mode, my monitor will show 100 Hz until I start a game in full screen or windowed mode.  At this point, I get only between 15 to 30 Hz, and of course, everything is very agitated.

    Once again this isn't a major problem that prevents me from doing what I want to do, but I wonder if it's just a driver problem that will be fixed after Acer and Nvidia work details or if it is a problem of monitor. My gut tells me that it is a driver issue, as the monitor can be defined and perform at 100 Hz.  The monitor just stays together at this resolution after reset and dislikes one of the options in the Nvidia SLI menu.

    So I broke down and did a reinstall.

    Monitor came perfectly to 100 Hz, unique profile and not problems with the drivers of the monitor who came on their own good.

    So I think the problem is when you have had a previous installed monitor that had the capacity of more than 100 Hz, it can be a conflict or confusion.  Even uninstall this monitor or by reinstalling the drivers Nvidia has not fixed the problem, which means that the old monitor (s) was still present in the registry.  A reinstall of course removes all these potential conflicts, although I think that Acer should come with something different through software or at least documentation potential issues.

    Right now, everything is in place, works perfectly through several reboots.

    so I update the drivers from nvidia. Had the same problem you second card shows up with error code 43. Driver problems, that's what I got when I was looking for.

    Apart from that, I have updated the OS to win 8.1 Overview. Don't, don't. NVIDIA does not have SLI drivers for it. If I ever go back to any return to a system restore. driver nVidia 311.41 version is the version that works right now with SLI.

    sounds like a hardware issue. It would be wise to send the machine to the nearest service partner in your country because you won´t be able to fix it yourself.
    I guess it has something to do with the VGA card, or among the memory modules would not work as they should.

  • Audio problems with Lenovo Y500

    I believe that something inside is not in contact with good and this causes the sound stop. The computer is new, and the only thing I improved is the mSATA SSD so I can install the operating system.

  • How to boot from USB DVD Rom on Y500 with SLI?

    In any case, with regard to get this to work, you will need to go into BIOS.
    To start the BIOS configuration utility:
    1 turn off the computer.
    2 press the Novo button (small button with the curved arrow, located next to the receptacle) and select Configuration of the BIOS.

    > Go to the tab "BOOT".
    > Under"Boot" change into "Legacy support".
    > Press F10 and save the setting.
    > Machine will restart and boot press F12
    > When the boot menu appears, select desired boot.

    I was wondering if anyone else knows issues with WiFi connectivity since the upgrade to Sierra 10.12? I have not had any problems with connectivity WiFi previously on El Capitan. Now I have regular randomly loose connectivity. My internet is cable and when it is connected I have a 100% connection. My details of iMac and I have used only 10% of my storage.
