When I drag a photo (also only one photo) in the timeline panel and read it in the monitor program, vision in the monitoring program is not monitor of race: black or a small part of the picture appear... sometimes changing colors. ASUS P5QPRO Intel 9550 and Sparkle Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX + 1024 DDR3; directX and the latest gpu driver are installed. Different configurations of Strath discs have been tested. Where I'm wrong?

• Problems with the external monitor W540 connection

  Hi, maybe someone can help me. I'm trying to connect a W540 (no external dock) to an external monitor Dell.

  I tried with two monitors, but none work.

  Connected via VGA port on the side of the W540

  (1) connected monitor and clogged up the resolution of the screen on laptop (lines icons tiny, black on each side of the screen). External monitor works fine. When unplugged, it went back to the previous screen resolution.

  (2) laptop registered resolution and icon size of the screen as a profile.

  (3) external monitor connected right click options graphics Intel, insured was custom display, main display plus external monitor, then had to go in a re - click on the name of the saved profile.

  (4) this worked ok until the next day, when turned on laptop and a blue screen. Managed to get this back hard by restarting and completed the steps in N3

  (5) cannot get the Nvidia Control Panel to display anything else than the 3D options, even if it make the default value (instead of the Intel graphic card)

  Can anyone offer some so that I can connect an external monitor without having to go through all this hassle every time? Why this affects the laptop so bad (and also, it runs very slowly after that)

  Thank you. A quick update, I contacted Lenovo, and they sent the updated bios drivers. I also uninstalled some software Canon MP Navigator and Lenovo EMC Discovery (http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht081844?tabName=Solutions). One or all of them seem to have solved the problem, including the slow start.

• Printing problems with the Paint program

  Used the Paint program for years, no problem.  Suddenly, every time I print get a very tiny copy as if it has been reduced by about 75%.  If I try to enlarge before printing, etc., it gives me anywhere between 10 and 20 white sheets before give me a very tiny copy.  I used different printers with the same result.  I love this Paint program and would like to get back to where he was.

  2. what operating system is installed on your computer?
  3. What is the brand of your laptop?
  4 did you go to the device manufacturer's Web site to download the latest drivers?

  I suggest that you follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

  Step 1:

  Update of your webcam drivers and check if the problem persists.

  Step 2:

  Uninstall and reinstall Cyberlink and check if the problem persists.

  Step 3:

  Test the issue in a clean boot State.

  Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

  I suggest you to assign a drive letter for the external hard drive and see if it helps.

  To do:

  a. press the Windows key + R and type diskmgmt.msc.

  (b) if the hard drive recognized in disk management and if there is no drive letter assigned, I suggest you do a right click on the drive and assign a drive letter and check if it helps.

  c. right click paths and the drive letter Change.

  Do one of the following:

  ·         To assign a drive letter if it has not already received, click Add, click the letter you want to use and then click onOK.

  ·         To change a drive letter, click change, click on assign the following drive letter, click the letter you want to use and then click on OK.

  d. restart the computer and check.

  Hope that the external hard drive will not be detected after that.

  No, it won't work: you are surrounding the name of the field in quotation marks.

  I was editing a sequence and things were dandy until the program screen size has changed for children.

  Here, plays the same video, but in the source monitor, the width of the screen is longer while the width of the screen of the program monitor is also enlarged and lower.

  Can someone help me get both screens, the same magnification and width?

  They have the same magnification (both on the adjustment) and have the same resolution if that helps...
