Problems with USB drivers

My USB drivers dies randomly, and I followed the instructions to remove them all and restart. However, after the restart, drivers are unable to reinstall. That's all, after my webcam does not work and I followed the instructions here http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-hardware/windows-vista-error-code-28-with-webcam/9070b7f6-d5b5-413b-acf9-d5cba24580c9. After that, all my USB drivers no longer completely be frustrated I dropped for the moment.

So here's the problem when I start my computer, it tries to install all drivers and every one of them goes down. However, things that I plugged the USB drives actually work until it tries to install the driver fails. I tried to disable the automatic driver download when booting with the computer and management through the system option to never ask me, but he always does! It's like a nightmare! Is there a way to disable these pilot automatic downloads other than the two options, I tried getting started? Or better yet, is there a way to fix this, other than to reinstall windows, which is not a really fair option.
I tried EVERYTHING, manually install the drivers automatically, delete them and restart and so on. Thanks for your help

  • Laptop G62-a50EV: problem with GPU drivers! :/

    Hey guys,.

I currently installed windows 8.1 x 64 OS on a laptop OS from windows 7 to the previous address. Problem is that none of my cards (AMD/ATI Radeon HD5470 & Intel HD graphics card) are properly recognized by the system. Whenever I try to install AMD external links and no HP drivers, nothing happens... It goes the same for Intel drivers. Whenever I have install the drivers from the HP official site... AMD catalyst center works but gpu itself does not react as stays in 1024 x 768 and League of Legends game drops to 4 frames per second (I use it asa pointer of the problem). As for when I try to install the driver of HP Intel... then I get the black screen on reboot blue screen that prompts me to either reboot the machine again or try to fix the problem as a user advanced... I hope I did a system restore point that I knew that this can happen! Any suggestions?

P.S tried 4 times still the same result with driver intel. In regards to the AMD hope is lost... I even do not have a valid driver not always by AMD for the current gpu...

  • Satellite L870: Problem with USB to serial interface with FTDI chipset

    Hi all

bought a L870 year last to run software amateur radio via USB to the serial interface.
    Interface uses the FTDI chipset.

The problem I have is that the switch on the led on the interface flashes green to red several times to indicate that it works, but then must remain on green but task on every minute she goes through the same process again.

All the controls on the drivers and the Manager of devices indicates that everything is ok. No problem with interface on computers laptops happens or advent.

Is there anything on the Toshiba laurys usb ports every minute.

Thanking you in advance for any ideas

First of all, I must say that there are different models of L870 Satellite on the market supporting different hardware and software. Some are preinstalled with 8 and some Win with Win 7.

In addition the L870 supports USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 standard.
If you recommend to check the different USB ports and check if your software works correctly with the USB 3.0 standard.

  • Problems with installing drivers

I have the Bluetake BT007EX bluetooth usb adapter. Pilots who placed on CD is "Toshiba Blutake Stack. I try to upgrade to a newer version in http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/directlink.php?snr=2 version 4.00.36. Usually, if you have no product problem with Toshiba, you check the support page because they have enough experience with own products. In any case, install the USB first and if you are sure that the device is listed in Device Manager and State indicates that this unit can be used, install the BT stack. My friends has produced similar Belkin and it configured on Satellite M40 on this path.

Have you activated the BT device before installing?

  • Problem with USB mouse on satellite a215-s7416

Hi all. I have had this problem since I got this computer in December. I hope someone can help me.

I've been using an optical mouse wired usb. It works for about 4-5 weeks then it loses power. For the first days I can unplug and plug again and it works again. If I change the ports that it works as well. Finally, it stops completely, in all ports. I have plug into my office and it works fine. The first time it happened that I exchanged the mouse thinking it was defective. As soon as I plugged the new mouse it worked fine. After a few months ago, I switched to another brand of mouse. I still have the same problems. I found some info on removing USB hubs and support resettlement, which worked for a few days. I've also updated the BIOS, I did not well other updates.

Anyone know what can be the cause of this? I'm going to exchange it again tomorrow and I am confident when I plug it in it will work fine.

I saw a similar problem on a desktop PC, it was caused by bad drivers of USB.

Have you installed drivers mouse Logitech or Microsoft, or any other associated USB drivers?

Try to remove those, whether they are in conflict with the mouse.

If this does not work, you can try to reinstall Windows by running the recovery (backup your data first of course: p)

  • Problems with USB 3.0

    Hello people!

I'm here with a need for help to solve a problem that I recently got after reinstalling my windows 7.

The problem is with USB 3.0 driver, which does not react to any device I plug on two of the ports, and they are not dead I checked that. I tried to re - install USB 3.0 drivers as well and downloaded from HP site for my model, the latest version has failed so I tried with the other older and did not work as well. Only my two USB 2.0 ports work.

I don't know if there are any other versions or drivers that I could use, those for my model don't work for some reason, and this is the first time I did re-installation of windows for that.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me solve this problem!

The laptop model is HP Pavilion dv7 - 6113cl

    Kind regards

  • Problems with USB devices in Windows XP Mode on Windows 7 Pro

I have a Palm Zire 21 that I use with ACT! Contact Manager to keep track of my appointments.  I was able to sync the Palm with my ACT database until this week. The device appears on the list of USB devices, but does not connect to Windows XP mode.

I used this device in XP Mode since August without any problem.  Last week, I started having problems with the integration of XP features and had to uninstall and reinstall the integration features a few times.  I think I have a corrupted somewhere driver.

    Any help would be appreciated.

No need to comment unless you have more insight.

I solved the problem myself.  In XP mode, I went to the Device Manager and scroll down to USB controllers.  A virtualization USB bus drivers showed a problem.   I uninstalled this device and then managed to reinstall my Palm correctly after connecting it to the USB port, and then going back to the menu at the top of the XP USB mode screen and hit connect when I saw my camera.  The device connected in XP automatically and I was off to the races.

  • Problem with USB 2.0 Driver

I'm having a problem with the USB 2.0 driver. Whenever I connect my USB drive, I get a notification of an unknown device and I also used the troubleshooter to solve problems, but he said-

An unexpected error has occurred. The Troubleshooting Wizard can not continue.

    Identifier of the package: DeviceCenterDiagnostic

    Path: unknown

    Error code: 0 x 80070002

    Source: engine

    User: Chinmaya-PC\Chinmaya

    Background: high

Every time that I find this error code while troubleshooting the USB 2.0 driver. I even tried reinstalling the driver, but it's the same thing over and over again. I also tried to install Microsoft Fix it, but it won't install, it says "Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services BootStrapp has stopped working". Someone at - it this same error? I can't even connect a USB on my computer because of this error.

If anyone has an answer, I would be very happy to know.

    Hello Chinmaya,

Thank you for the update on the issue.

Before any change in the registry, I highly recommend you back up the registry. You can see How to backup and restore the registry in Windows as described in the previous answer.

UpperFilters and the LowerFilters are assigned values in registry keys. Upper filter drivers go between the operating system and the principal driver, and the lower filter drivers between the driver and the hardware.

You can try the suggestion and let us know the result, we will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.
