Problems with Win 8.1 / HP c309a photosmart premium

Hello

I have an HP c309a which has problems printing on a Win 8.1 in 64-bit computer.

I downloaded the latest drivers 2 x, ran the 2 x to see if there are updates, etc.  I had problems on the first day with this computer (almost a year).

There is also a Mac computer in the family, it will print a document very well, or website can be printed on the Mac without problem.  8.1 replaced Win one Win XP, Win XP computer no problems.

Someone at - it help any with a resolution?  Computers and printers are hard connected on the same network in an end 8 port hub.

Thank you.

Hi eggzlot,

I understand that the printer will not print. Try following the steps in this document to that of print jobs are stuck in the print queue. I realize that there may be nothing in the queue, it's just the name of the document.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you

  • Problems with Win 7 updates

    Hello everyone,

For weeks I can't update my Win 7 Home Basic on an ACER PC of detail.

I get the usual Windows Update screen, it shows the download of updates, but then it shows (0 total KB, 0% complete), while 0% does not change.

I chose the only feature in the file of 1 MB to see if changes as the download progresses but 0% 0% does not change in 10% or more not even after 40 minutes.

It seems that something stops the download.

Please tell us how to make the change from 0% being downloaded.  Thank you.

    Merry Christmas!

Certainly, I understand your concern and will try my best to help you.

There could be a possibility that this issue would have intervened if the updates were not installed correctly on the system.

I can really imagine the disadvantages suffered by you during the installation of Windows updates. • Problems with Win 7: lost internet connection and downloads

    Hello

I'm not sure that the two problems are related... I don't know what topic to choose.

I have a custom, with Win 7 machine, and I install all required updates. But for a while (months? I turn it off every night) it says 15 updates are available every time that I reboot, and I see no updates installed (I search for installed updates today).

Anyway, let them go all the way, and when I restart, I have no connection. It's happened several times (everytime I reboot). Maybe that I had the chance to solve the problem by restarting (and reinstalling :)) 15 updates, but today I can't. I am connected by wire to a modem. Our all other computers work.

I have a job in the process and need my internet connection (easier to work on a desktop computer with large screen of a laptop) and I can't.

In network and sharing Center, there is a cross between 'Several networks' and the internet. I have the message if I 'connect or disconnect' "no Internet access.

I did ipconfig, and I get media disconnected. I did not unplug anything!

I would be very grateful for your help.

    Thank you very much

    Hi Allwyna,

    Thanks for the reply.

As you said, there are 16 updates that never completed the installation. There could be opportunities updates are at the origin of the problem. So before solve us the connection problem. We should go ahead and first to solve the problem of updates.

I would like to know you have installed any Security Antivirus software on your computer, if so I first suggest you temporarily disable the Antivirus software install on your computer and check if that helps.

Warning: Antivirus software helps protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software and/or any relevant issue, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. • Photosmart Premium (c309a): Photosmart Premium (c309a)

I recently bought a new computer with operating system Windows 10 and bought a new desire 7640.  After loading the disk on the computer, the printer works fine.

My problem is that I didn't know that this printer is not the analysis feature where you can scan multiple images (example 6) and each image automatically segmented instead of having 6 pictures on a single page.  My question is, can I load the HP Photosmart Premium drive on my new computer.  The drive indicates that it is for Windows XP/Vista.  I have two printers connected to my computer so that I can use that for scanning of my thousands of pictures.  I know that the new printer will scan the four images at once, but then I have to manually divide them which would be time very trust.  Thus the new printer doesn't have many other features like "restore the color.

I don't know much about computers, so if anyone can help me, please speak the language "dummy" for me.  Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello

Yes, the envy of 7640 HAS this option. Please try

    (a) double-click the desktop printer icon.

    (b) select Scan document or photo,.

    (c) click on advanced settings.

    d check the Auto culture,

    (e) click Apply/Ok

You can save this configuration as an icon of shortcut (without a lock) and give it a name

  • problem with scanning/image area for hp photosmart 2610 WIN XP

Well well probably XP is half the problem since it is no longer supported... But I am havig problems scanning anything on my hp photosmart 2610. Area of the image go up and keeps telling me to insert my all in a disc and I evetually must use master to close the processes of HP. I tried everything to have HP on the phone (for 4 hours) and they could not uninstall and reinstall new drivers so not that I have two monitors of image digital hp running. Printing is not a problem but pulling to the top of photos and attempt at analysis of the new photos just do not work. I have the original disc of photosmart hp, but when I put it in my dvd player I get a message to put in an all in one disc I did not. I even downloaded the latest driver from HP and tried running that, but it does not say that it is alread installed... Should I just delete anything that has to do with my printet hp and then run the installation of new I removed the HP site? It makes me very nervous because I can print at least currently... If I delete everything and the installation fails, I can't live with printing capabilities. However, I want to be able to scan your photos of family, etc...

  • HP cq5600f: problem with Win 10 update

I have an old Office - cq5600f - and thinking to upgrade to Windows 7 to win 10. The video provided with the machine, NVIDFEA Geforce 6150, card is not usable with 10 victory. I called NVIDEA, and they said that I must determine if the motherboard accept an improved map.  I don't know how to determine that. Someone has an idea?

    Toni, welcome to the forum.

You must run HP and Windows updates for you ensure that the software and drivers are up to date before you continue.

There is a PCI Express x 16 slot on the motherboard for a discrete video card.  However, you will need to upgrade the power supply (PSU).  The existing PSU is only 250W.  Most newer video cards require at least 400W to work properly.  In addition, video cards more recent than the GT 640 series require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.

  • Update problem with win 7 to 8 T510

I have a T510 just reinstalled Win 7 using the Lenovo recovery and now I'm looking to move to Win 8 to give a try.

I'm lazy, so I just uninstalled programs that are specifically highlighted by the Upgrade Wizard of Windows 8 in the process, not those listed incompatible in the compatibility table, but those that actually prevents the upgrade of the instance Wizard. And apparently just uninstall them is not enough.

The problem is that I don't know exactly what software is causing problems. Great thinkpad utility software seem to becoming major obstacles to the upgrade. And these drivers. However I really want to uninstall all of them and potentially found out that does not always upgrade. If I have to delete all software from lenovo, I assume a new installation be less obtrusive.

So I was wondering if someone who has successfully upgraded could give the software or drivers that he or she has uninstalled or share another experience. I appreciate really.

BTW, I wish Microsoft or Lenovo will come out a better Wizard upgrade who will deal with the problem of uninstalling for users. I know that Lenovo has a list of software that must be uninstalled. Are there opportunities you can make an exe or bat file this unistall all of them at once? I think that most of the thinkpad users like me still have the standard package installed as the machine arrived and it really save a lot of trouble.

    Thank you

I think the Windows 8 package you downloaded can be used to make a new installation but also upgrade to Windows 7.

If you run the Windows 8 package you downloaded, it should give you the ability to create a multimedia installation. Then take a 4 GB USB key, run the Windows 8 package, then select the option to install from Media create, or something to that description.

Select the USB and it will create a Bootable Windows 8 installation.

You can use this with your key, to create a new installation.

I'm in dual boot on the same drive, for now while I get used to WIndows 8.

Let it run for as long as you can: 2,4,6,8 or several hours (at least 3 full passes), if no errors at that time then your ram is OK.

  • problems with Win 10 update

I have a problem updating to Win 10 of Win 7 because the update will not proceed without me uninstall a program that I can't find in the list of programs. NVIDIA PhysX V8.10.29 NVIDIA I associate with my graphics installed so if I find and uninstall. I have a working graphics card?

Thank you for the update, MarkWalters_1350.

According to the verification of the availability of the driver for your graphic card, seems that he is not available for Windows , 10. You can try to check as well since the site of the manufacturer via this link: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download. As indicated in the image below, the driver for your graphics card can be supported only with the following systems :

    • Windows 8
    • Windows 7

    • Windows XP
    • Linux

For any other concerns regarding your graphics card, we suggest that you contact the manufacturer.

  • Problems with Win 7 Professional 64-bit Microsoft wireless keyboard

I've been successfully running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on my desk since last October.  So far, I had been using a Microsoft Wireless Comfort 1 keyboard. 0 and Microsoft optical mouse 2.0 with no issues whatsoever, another that he had got very old and shabby and all the letters had disappeared from the keyboard.  Then I myself treated then for a keyboard Microsoft wireless Comfort keyboard 5000 and 5000, the mouse, sold as a set.

I installed, downloaded the 64-bit drivers updated for Win 7, etc, etc.  The mouse worked perfectly, but the keyboard was nothing else into trouble.  It starts fine but then after about five or ten minutes of work, start some keys not typing and I have to wait a few seconds for him to fend and catch up.  He then sporadically to this.  Re-booting does not seem to make a big difference.  Exchanging the small dongle USB around various ports seems to have an effect slightly but not sustainable.  Remove and reinstall the drivers also seems to have an effect slightly but not sustainable.

I think that it's something in the config or the drivers between Win 7 and the keyboard, as I tried two of these keyboards and both do the same thing, so it's not a faulty keyboard.  I also switched out to another computer also running Win 7 Professional, 64-bit, and it comes up with that one as well.

In the end, I got back to the shabby old keyboard while the beautiful new sits on the plateau, that which is not exactly what was meant.  I tried to look through the diversity of the other questions people have had here with wireless keyboards and computers, but can not see responses that quite match my setup questions.  So, what to do next?

For possible interference, you can watch your router Wireless N +.  Wireless N can operate at 2.4 Ghz or 5 GHz.  Most of the brands end lower base 2.4 race, which is the same as the 5000 wireless set.  If your wireless network has the option of 5 Ghz, you might want to try it.  Also if you have a cordless phone that works at 2.4 it could cause problems.  I know not many people use wireless phones these days other than cell phones, but it could be a problem as well.
