  I am looking to buy a probook g3 455 to replace my old g6t Pavilion which is now essentially unusable.  I saw in the description of the probook that CPU is 2.2 GHz but it can go up to 2.5 GHz.  Is that simple enough to change necessary?  Most of the software I run requires just 2.0, but I have a program that I use still very often needed the 2.4.  So, is it easy to increase the speed, just at the moment where I have to run only one program?  Or do people recommend to increase the speed and leave it like that?  Yet once, is it something that is easy to do?

  My laptop is very slow, so before you replace it, I decided to upgrade the processor AMD 4400 M.  After studying types of socket FS1, I decided to go with an AMD A8-3500 processor, however, when I turned off the laptop to the top, a few seconds later the machine here, so either the motherboard does not support this CPU or I need to do something else.

  .. I have recently upgraded to windows 8.1... Because my colleague told me it's a wonderful update... After you have installed the 8.1 update... my computer crashes every 2-5 minutes, you can still move the mouse cursor, but everything is frozen, it will resume after 20-30 seconds. Everything was fine when I use WINDOWS 8, it happened that after update install the 8.1... I guess that's a video driver problem... BTW, I installed all the drivers from HP for 8.1...  Can I request a copy of windows 8 oem for my laptop or a site to download to come back to this windows 8?   any solution?

  I'm sorry to hear you had problems with the update Windows 8.1. You can easily restore your system to Windows 8 by using the Microsoft System Restore. I'm you provide a supported HP here document that will provide you with instructions on how to do it. When you make your restore just make sure that you choose a restore point when you were 8 Windows work properly.

  Just bought some notebooks ProBook 655 G1 (AMD A10 5750 M). But all USB does not work. No mouse or USB flash. The mouse only works in the BIOS. Install the drivers under Windows 7 x 64, but it doesn't help. And it freezes sometimes when I restart laptop. Then I took second notebook, but it's all the same, usb does not work. I Googled, I have to disconnect a usb device when the computer reboots and it's true - with no laptop computer usb connected fine boots. But the USB still does not work.

  Why am I that, anyone have this problem? I have 14 of these books, it seems that all will have this problem I can't give them to my clients for working with these issues...

  Okay, it looks like this laptop don't like Windows 7 more. Because with Win 8.1 USB taken becomes to live.

  But it still freezes on reboot when USB is connected. The only "como autour this question" is enebling Fast Boot, when no usb works on starting the process... but now is difficult to catch BIOS and some features must be disabled.

  Disappointed with this product anyway.

  I just bought a portable Satellite C855D with a processor AMD A8 - 4500M. The processor supports AMD - V, but it is disabled in the bios. It seems that Toshiba has removed this option from bios InsydeH20 Setup and it is not possible to activate this feature.

  There is no work around for this problem? I bought this laptop for my studies and it will be returned if it is not possible to run 64-bit virtualization.

  I doubt that you will be able to allow this future if it is not taken in charge by the BIOS

  In a Word, sorry; No dice. The CPU maybe but not the GPU. You could get slightly better game with a faster processor performance, but also probably not sufficient to justify the substantial efforts and expenses. The best course of action is to sell your laptop and buy one with the video power you need. It may seem expensive to do, but it is almost always less expensive in the long term.
