Normally, helpsvc.exe shouldn't use all CPU resources, if you use actually help and support and not much even in this case.  It is possible, however, that you have a malware application using the same name.

The correct helpsvc.exe must be placed in C:\Windows\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries.  The current version should be 5.1.2600.5997 and 727 KB in size.  If your helpsvc.exe is located in another directory or a different size, it is probably malware.  What is the real message of your Norton product?

There was a problem with helpsvc.exe exhausting the resources of the computer, but that the problem was supposed to have been corrected in Service Pack 2 (and you have sp3, correct?). http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/839017

If all else fails, you can disable using Windows:

    1. Start > run > services.msc > OK
    2. Scroll down to "Help and Support" and right-click on it and select Properties.
    3. Stop the service.
    4. Set the startup type to "Manual" (service starts when you click Help and Support) or 'off '.
    5. OK your way out.
  • NT Kernel & System using 100% of CPU

    Hello

I just bought a new laptop with Window Vista Home Basic. The laptop has 3 GB of ram. I just read an article online and then I begin to hear the laptop fan run like crazy. then I went on the resource monitor and there was a picture/program that used for 95% of my cpu and it was my system with "NT kernel and system. It's happened more than 30 minutes. Others as to restart the computer, what can I do on this "NT kernel and system" eating up 95% of my CPU?

I had the same problem on my HP Vista desktop at home for a few weeks. I read that someone solved the same problem by updating a firmware of hardware, so I opened the resource monitor and started to unplug all of my material, one at a time. Now, I have disconnected my adapter USB Belkin, NT Kernel & system down to 0% and my computer completely thawed. The same adapter was only cause me a lot of grief for months it wouldn't react whenever my computer out of standby. I'll update the driver and firmware to see if that helps - otherwise garbage goes in the trash. I recommend the hardware turn off/Unplug (especially if you have with strange behavior) until the problem stops, then the replacement or update of this material.

  • Exec.vi "Wait until completion" system uses a lot of CPU. Help

I am writing an application that calls parallel instances of an external program. I have the code of work to run the EXE file with the Exec.vi system. When the completion up to wait entry is set to true on Exec.vi LabVIEW system uses all my CPU. The EXE I am running is an exe of low intensity, and if I don't wait until completion LabVIEW has no high CPU usage. It would be nice, but I have the code which needs the EXE to finish before moving. I'm doing something wrong? I could not find this behavior as a known issue, so I would like a mental health to make sure I'm not stupid fouls. I have attached a demo that recreates the question. The VI called the EXE with lance Notepad and then updates the text in Notepad. I am attaching the source code of the demo EXE as well.

    Thanks Bob

LabVIEW sequentially launches 20 cases of "Idel_EXE.exe" who are getting a Notepad and returns information.

This description is exactly what asynchronous call and collect is supposed to manage.  'Call' treats only the controls, move the VI 'in' data you call.  The "wait on asynchronous Call" does the rest - if the called VI has done and wants to pass 'out' data, this function provides the values.  As I have indicated, if the called VI is still ongoing, wait for asynchronous can expire, return an error (which you can use as a signal 'Wait a little bit longer').

Nothing to worry about. This means that 99% of your CPU capacity is available for other processes. Or in other words, the system idle process using 1% of CPU.

  • Agent process java using 100% CPU

    Hello

I have Hyperic 4.0.1 11 platforms and follow-up on 10 of them it works fine, but on the other 1 the Java process is just hogging all CPU and I don't know why.

Basically, there are 2 web servers, which are both controlled. They use the same hardware and installation by the same people using the same binaries at the same time. All configuration files are identical. A machine works perfectly and the other is to have this problem with Java.

I tried to restart the agent and made some tests with the new versions of the agent as excluding unwanted plugins in the agent.properties file but there is still no change.

The only time where I could get the CPU down wasn't that turn off the collection of all parameters and restarting the agent. I then added back a metrics and the CPU usage remained at a negligible level. He has been this way for about 2 weeks but began to creep up again and no change to the machine has been filed, I know.

Does anyone have ideas which could, but causing Hyperic/Java for this?

    Thank you

    Andy

Although I can't know for sure newspaper followed has to do with him, because it was in my case, I would try to run the agent without trace log or by using a very high interval for this and comparing the CPU.

Try to put this in the agent.properties:
    Track.Interval = 99999

    (units are in seconds)

I noticed that my system, Windows 10 was real slow.  Research in the Task Manager, I see a process called ElementsAutoAnalyzer13 using 98% CPU.  I had not all Adobe products running.  I used Quicken and internet Banking.  Noticed this every time that there was a download or an interaction between internet and Quicken.  Looked in Task Manager and was shocked that ElementsAutoAnalyzer13 was using so much CPU, makes no sense.  After I killed the process order has been restored in the universe.  So which option in Adobe can I select then auto Analyzer does not work unless it is necessary.

Turn off the NAP. Most likely you don't need it.

Try each of them in order. A test to see if the computer works properly:

    1. Reset the PRAM
    2. Reset the controller (SMC) system management
    3. Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It's slower than a standard home.
    4. Repair the disk by booting to the HD recovery immediately after that the chime press the command and R keys until the Utility Menu appears. Choose disk utility and click on the continue button. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry of the list to one side.  Click first aid button in the toolbar. • HP G71-340US recovery of the system using a new smaller hard drive (SSD)

I replaced the hard drive on an HP G71-340US notebook with a Solid State Drive (240 GB).  The original drive (who did not) was a 320 GB drive.

I tried to perform the Reovery of system using the recovery disks that I created when I bought the laptop.  However, the only option enabled when you are trying to restore is 'Factory Reset'.  When I choose this option, the recovery process may not continue his run as "... the hard drive of this computer is smaller than the original shipped hard disk.

Is there a way I can go beyond that?  Any suggestions/help would be most appreciated!

    Thank you!

HP System normal recoveries do not usually work on smaller hard disks. You may need to use a spinner legacy 320 GB hard drive and more capacity to perform the Factory image restore and then make a migration of data to the SSD. It is unfortunate that you chose to change for one SSD after the original spinner hard drive has failed.

With SSDS, in particular the best method is to use a upgrade kit or data migration kit.

A data migration kit consists of software cloning and a usb to SATA cable. The USB to SATA cable connect the SSD to the usb port of the laptop for the cloning process that is part of the migration of the data.

The software provided by manufacturers such as Samsung and Corsair SSD are usually able to transfer all of the operating system and on a smaller hard disk partitions.

  • last updated leads 2 force persistent ends: com.motorola.process.system and nfc

I received an invitation to be in the impregnation Droid Turbo 2 test. I responded to the survey, but I never got an update. Now, last night, I have the update when its released to the public and made useless phone. After each restart, I get pop ups, a saying com.motoroal.process.system stopped and the other who stopped services Nfc. both are persistent even after clicking on ok, it's immediately. I can't use the phone at all.

Should impregnation is obviously more test I go to Verizon store? I bought at Motorola.com, should I go for support of Motorola? given that I was invited to the trial of impregnation, can I put it on the soaking test forum?

    Where should I go?

    Adam Jones

    aka BaldyPal

I've tried everything. the com.motorola.process.system popup is persistent no matter what. mode without failure, cache deleted, factory reset, can't do the settings in two modes to a time zone change, or even disable the NFC (nfc close force won't go away).

I went to verizon, which in turn called support of motorola. They agreed to send in, reimage, then send it back. I will return to my X-Moto rocker for a week or two.

For the record, the two parties called it a known problem. that was not very satisfying to hear knowing they pushed the update anyway. There was a test of soaking, I've even been invited, I filled out the questionnaire, but I never had the update.

I would like 6.0.1 on this Droid 2 Turbo as soon as. I cross my fingers.
