Last night I had to rebuild my torch!

Not a happy Bunny, but at least I have a working phone now.

However, the applications of Docs 2 Go (Word, spreadsheet and slide show) were not part of the new construction; and I could do with some support.

Can I just download them from the Dataviz site.  I had paid for the premium, so don't want to pay again.

    Version - 6.0.0.546

    Platform - 6.6.0.207

    Help, please.

You will be able to recharge Docs2Go stuff via Desktop Manager.

Since you have rebuilt your device, I guess you le.546 OS loaded on your PC, correct?

If so, connect your device to the PC and launch the DM.  Select Applications.  Your device will be read and then will give you the opportunity to add missing applications.  Once the information loading upward on the screen, just scroll Docs2Go modules and click the + to reinstall them on your device.

I've updated BBM from version 7 to 7.0.1. After the reboot, I found that my BBM was gone. I checked my world in Blackberry World, to see that it is installed, but it was gone. So I had all my BBM Messages messages. Make a restore from a previous backup has not resolved the problem, 7.0.1 remained. I had to reinstall version 6 to BBM. Version 6 installation means that I've lost the BB voice that came with v7. Nobody knows where and how can I get the previous version 7.0.1. IE version 7?

  • Text messages from blackBerry Smartphones folder disappeared!

    Hello

Last night my text message folder has disappeared and I have no idea how to do to get it back!

the only way to view my texts are to find a contact I received/sent a text in the last days, click on the text then hit the blackberry and select "Show file" then select the SMS Inbox. \

    Can anyone help?

Hello and welcome to the community!

Each time a random strange behavior or slowness comes, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Messages disappear

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with my email. It is a Rogers email account

The e-mail is received by my blackberry fine, but when I open outlook on my desktop messages then disappear on my Blackberry?

    Any thoughts? Thank you

So, to get this right, for example, watch you emails on your BlackBerry... received, view blah blah.

You open Outlook on your computer, and all your emails on your BB disappear?  Quite bizarre.

I would like to say that IF, once you open your Outlook on your computer that recently sent emails stop coming to your BB, then this is a setting in Outlook, you have not configured correctly. See below.

    So, what's your problem?

IF you use Outlook to download your email on your desktop PC, Outlook is probably "remove" mail from your email server when it downloads on your PC.

There is a setting in Outlook to "Leave Messages on server".

    For MS Outlook 2003:
    1. Outlook > tools > e-mail accounts > view or change existing > next.
    2. Select the e-mail account > change > additional settings.
    3. Advanced tab > leave a copy of Messages on the server
    4. check this box.

    * You will need to make this change for each Outlook e-mail account, you have.

Other versions of Outlook have a similar setting, although it can be found in a slightly different place of the: Advanced settings.

  • Icons of apps and blackBerry Smartphones to disappear after each sync

I just got my "BOLD" Wednesday 10 November 26. I took a few pictures and configure multiple e-mail accounts. I put a picture of my wife as the background of the screen. Whenever I have sync it with my computer things change. I have now no icons for my email accounts that I put in place and I don't have one of the photos I've taken. The profiles icon that allows me to define what type of ringtone or vibrate level I want disappeared, although I can scroll up to where it was. Can I have a virus or any other problem or is it just a user error.

    Help, please.

Hi and welcome to the burkerich forums!

I had not heard of that happening before.

No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.

Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min.

See if the icons are returned.

Were the photo in the memory of the device or on a memory card?

Also, please specify the version of Desktop Manager you are using and how you

    Set options.

    Thank you

  • BBM profile new blackBerry Smartphones

How to clear the BBM profile to create a new one from scratch? I don't want to use the security wipe because I want to keep the contacts.

    Hi Art18735

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Can I know what exactly you want! BBM uses our device PIN that you can not change, if you want to use cool then remove these Contacts you want, but those who already know your PIN may send you ask and you have to block them if you don't want them on your list of contacts.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones icons disappeared and the menu won't pull up.

OK, so I have a 8310.  I left my phone in the car for a few days (maybe something could have been by pressing one of the buttons while he sat there?) and when I picked it up, all my icons had been activated around and nothing was located where it was when I used the latter.  Everything worked fine, just all of the application and the homescreen icons were all scrambled to the top.

This is the case, a * beep *, I decided to try to move the icons and put them back where they belonged.  I was able to highlite an icon and move it, but when I tried to finish the move sit icon where I wanted, the icon would be to just move with the trackball and has refused to sit in one place and stay there.

Then I get a call on my phone and everthing is now the country of Wonderland with Alice and the White Rabbit!  All my icons have left the home screen, and I can't pull up the menu screen.  The trackball seems to work very well.  The blackberry icon button (between the button ' to call ' green and the trackball) seems to work (when the screen is black, you can push it and the screen lights up) but when you press it, the menu won't pull up.

I thought that maybe I hid all the icons somehow?  I'm just confused on this one.  All the information at the top of the screen is still there.  Time, date, signal strength, network and all my message alert icons are visible.  I use the image as background is under the eyes, just all the icons disappeared and I can still shoot to the top of the menu to fix.

    1. press the Menu key and click SHOW EVERYTHING, as well as show that everything is checked.

Now look around and see if you the icons. If this menu button still does not work...

2 perform a reboot of the device: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    A little luck?

    3. If still nothing, try to go to the Options icon if you can find and choose themes and change the themes... now all the icons?

If you can't find the Options icon, press the green line to enter the call log.

Press the Menu key > Options > General and make Options scroll down with a line to the home screen and the value to no.

Now, go back to the home screen of the BlackBerry and press O (oh), alpha to zero. Who will pull up in your Options menu now

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS disappeared! Help please!

This is my first Blackberry, so please excuse any ignorance or stupidness! I got my BB around a month ago and I noticed that my texting more than three weeks have now disappeared. The names of the people I sent a text message / texting me are still there, but when I open them there is nothing there. Is it normal for a BB? Text messages vanish after a month or two? It is abit annoying to say the least! And if this isn't normal then someone at - it advice and assistance to put this right?

    Very appreciated

    Thank you

    CAT

There is a setting that auto removes once a certain period... default is 3-4 weeks I think.

    makes sense.

While your in your sms Inbox, go to your options-> General options-> bottom of page.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones have wifi but no IP address (Status: IP address is no longer valid)

    Dear experts,

I can connect my Pearl 9100 to my home Wi - Fi network, but I can't connect to the internet.  For example, when I run the browser, I get the message «Unable to connet to the Internet...» ».

I can see on my router that Pearl has been assigned an IP address DHCP vi (just as one would expect).

Of "manage connections / Options Wi - Fi profiles registered Wi - Fi to select my profile / tools WiFi / Wi - Fi Diagnostics ' I see that" Local IP address: "is empty and that"status: IP address is no longer valid"

I assume something is wrong on the bead, because it does not accept the TCP/IP configuration served to him by my server DHCP (my wireless router).

Someone at - it recommendations for helping me solve this problem?

Here are a few other details to consider:

All other wireless devices work on my home Wi - Fi network, including a Blackberry Bold 9780 running OS 6.

My Pearl 9100 has OS v.5.0.0.748.  This is an operating system updated Blackberry specific to my carrier (Bell), of the 5.0.0.604 OS, which came on the device.

I don't have a data plan on my Blackberry (you may think it strange, but well, it's the way I want it).  The Bold 9780 which has connected to my home Wi - Fi network has either a data plan.  The absence of a data plan should not be a problem because all I need an Internet connection for is the occasional use of the browser when a Wi - Fi connection is available for free.

Thank you in advance for any advice, tips or pointers.

Hey - I found the solution:

Options / Mobile Network / Data Services - change from 'OFF' to 'ON '.

I guess I was mistaken in thinking that "Data Services" should only be enabled if you have a data plan.

Maybe this will help you more...
