• When windows update program tries to download updates to update my computer it hangs and won't or can't down load updates.

  After, it tries to download updates and can't... I see that it lists the programs that should be downloaded and next to each program, it says download failed.

  One of the most common causes of problems are Anti Virus and Anti Spyware software currently running on the computer.

  You can try to disable them, and then try the updates again. Keep the firewall however.

  Chances are that your license is only for the Mac platform.

  You are really limited in the number of times that you could download - just the number of installations that can be activated.  May have enabled facilities on two machines, even if both should run on the same platform.  If it is CS6 you can ask an Exchange platform, but that doesn't look like what you want to do.

• Failure of Windows 7 Media Center Electronic Program Guide download

  I have two Windows Media Center computers, what can I use to record TV shows that both units could not update the EPG.  The info Guide indicates that she stopped at 20:00 on April 8, 2013 the Pacific time zone.  I tried to download several times without success on computers.  Walked through the configuration for the Windows Media Center thought something could have been wrong with it but no luck there either.  All other functions of computers works, IE... internet access, television and recording etc... Just TV ads all say "No Data available".

• Media Center Guide download stopped download after years... no error message.

  Windows Vista 32 SP2

  After years of good Guide ads download of my system just stopped downloading updated lists of programs.  Media Center said that it downloads successfully but not so much.  No error message.  I tried to re - configure the Guide in Media Center.  I tried to manually download updated program listings.  I uninstalled updates 11/04/12 NETframe4 have read that they can be problematic.  I restored to the 10/04/12, which is just before the big update 11/04/12.  None of this worked and my recorded shows stop at 5 pm PT 19/04/12.  What is the answer?  Thank you.

  2. What is the exact error message and the error code?
  3. what version of the Windows operating system is installed on your computer?
  
  Try the following and see if it helps.

  Delete the temp folder.

  a. Click Start select run.
  Press and b. Type folder enter.
  Delete all the files and folder inside and check.
