programs fail
My programs do not respond I can't print even everything that I just get a small blue circle running with the program does not
Don't let not to hear this will solve your problem, but it is usually one of the troubleshooting steps...
Run a file system check. It's to find corrupted files, and he will try to fix it if it is found.
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-SFC-command.html
If this does not help, do a check disk. It should check for and repair bad sectors, etc.
Start button > in the search box, type cmd > look at the top left, right-click on cmd.exe > click on Run As Administrator > press the Enter key.
Now, you will see a black and white screen. It's your cmd window.
At the flashing prompt type this... chkdsk/f/r
It is preferable that you copy and paste that above the line of command to avoid the misspelling. There is a space between 'chkdsk' and ' / '.
Press the Enter key.
The window will say something like... (I'm paraphrasing)... he can't do it now, but it will restart. You want to do, o/n.
Type 'y' as in Yes > press ENTER.
Output of cmd window.
Restart your computer > system will start the disk check.
It will take a while... a long time. Sit back and wait. Do not turn it off.
The system will restart when the disk check is complete.

Hello
I've recently updated to Windows Vista 64-bit for Windows 7 64 bit. After the upgrade, I noticed that Firefox is the only program that allows me to connect to the internet and surf the web. Windows updates not connecting not (error 80072EFD) and any other program that tries to connect to the internet fails. Also, when I install the updates to Firefox, Firefox is no longer will connect; I have to do a system restore to an hour before the updates of Firefox in order to get online. I searched the web relentlessly trying to identify the problem and tried the steps recommended on these sites: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-7/windows-7-cannot-connect-to-internet/ and http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/itprovistaie/thread/8777663d-013c-47b8-b11a-0e890612b533 and http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/32593406-f0af-449d-9cfd-3be3827fbf30

Hi GEAgent21,
- Did you the latest changes on the computer?
- You receive an error message?
- You have security software installed on the computer?
Method 1
Refer to the article below and try the steps mentioned, check if it helps.
Add/Remove Programs dialog box does not appear or is corrupted
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/323496
Method 2
If the previous step fails, then check if the problem persists in safe mode and after return with the result.
A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222
Method 3
If the problem does not persist in safe mode, then it is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Error starting program: failed to initialize the graphics system
I just upgraded to Windows Vista 64 bit to Windows 7 64 bit. I now have problems of execution of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. I get an error that says: "failed to initialize graphics system '. Hi I have a HP Probook 6470 b. After installation of the latest series of Windows updates my laptop fails to open the common programs such as Word 2010, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Internet Explorer 11. Other programs such as Excel 2010 and Chrome are not affected. Programs not just open, but on the control task manager, they are each taking up 25% CPU, which is the set of core.
Strangely, on a machine identical to the work occurs the same problem but on a desktop computer, I can't reproduce the problem. With my laptop I use system restore and the problem goes away until Windows Update to run again - there are quite a few updates and I can't identify what the source of the problem.
Everyone knows about this problem?
Hello. In the end, I managed to get out. It was Microsoft EMET that was causing problems. Ultimately I unchecked all boxes and now all my programs work correctly. Strangely Chrome and Excel have been unchecked already which is the reason for which they worked.

Tv Media Center, the Setup program fails
Tried to set up the TV Media Center (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 BIT) but the installation starts only (a blob white on the progress bar), and then nothing happens even if I leave it for centuries. It used to work fine, but I tried to set up again after that some channels were not download data in the guide. I have a Cinergy DT USB XS diversity double Tuner that has been very well so far, but I have reinstalled 64-bit drivers just in case they were corrupt but still no result.
Just to be clear on where it fails I'm on the screen that says "Windows Media Center downloads the latest configuration data for your area". My internet connection is fast and functional well with other programs.I don't want really to re - install the entire operating system, so I asked if there was a less radical solution. I have no restore points or try.Hi Allan,
I'm sorry to know that the links given earlier has not helped.

Opening by InDesign programming fails
Hello
I use Indesign library ("Resources for Visual Basic.tlb") in c#.
The following code should open by InDesign program and works very well on a single computer:
InDesign.Application gApp = (InDesign.Application) this.COMCreateObject ("InDesign.Application");
However on another computer the exactly the same code does not open InDesign programmatically, we get the following error message:
Of COM-Klassenfactory as of Komponente mit CLSID {18207523-3CEA-4212-A829-14F7F5A3546B} konnte Fehlers abgerufen werden nicht following branch: 80080005 fehlgeschlagen Starten servers (exception von HRESULT: 0 x 80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE))
This should be equivalent to translated the error message:
Recovery of the class factory COM for component with CLSID {18207523-3CEA-4212-A829-14F7F5A3546B} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT: 0 x 80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE)).
You should be able to find that is saved in EXE for handling of object COM InDesign.Application exploring HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\ {18207523-3CEA-4212-A829-14F7F5A3546B} in the registry.
See that LocalServer32 is pointing to the right EXE, and that your process can directly access and run it. There could be a problem for 32/64-bit...
Open Component Services MMC, go to--> Workstation --> DCOM Config and find InDesign by GUID AppID or AppID--> click on--> select Properties --> go to the tab of Security --> grant all users to enable execute permissions and computers .
Uninstall and reinstall InDesign could help get properly registered COM objects.

Download security programs fail.
I have 6 downloads failed on microsoft updates.how I do download again them? on windows xp"
Hi Chris,
Firstly see if updates failed then were redone and successful - sometimes I see one who fails and a few hours or maybe even a day or later, it is once successful (so it worked). You can also check the updates installed to see if those you see as failure was in fact installed and if there is really no problem.
If they are updates to the definitions of MSE and MSE is currently being updated, then this is normal and simply downloaded MSE updates before WU obtained for them and so they have failed because they were already installed in MSE.
If this is not working or apply, then we must look at the updates to see if we can find the cause.
In C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution, find and delete the content (but not the folders themselves) records ONLY the following two: downloads and the data store.
And what CAN help solve the problem if it is caused by an update incomplete or stuck - but it is not guaranteed to solve the problem of update because at this point we really don't know the cause. It is a cause, and there are others that this procedure allows to solve.
If this does not work, try this: click Start > run > paste the following command into the Run dialog box, and then press ENTER. Wait for the success message.
% SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\REGSVR32. EXE, % SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\WUAUENG. DLL
If the above does not help, then I recommend the following in order of presentation:
Try to reset components WU:

I downloaded malware to microsoft. Later (Odile is one). My problem is: if I start the laptop (XPS M1210) normally, when I want to start "Odile" - "Microsoft tool emergency response" (which seems to be the solution), the "personal shield pro 2.2" attack the computer and prevents all extra work." If I do it in safe mode, somehow it doesn´t enter the networks, as a result, programs to clean the scan only partially. No solution. I also tried to use "MS support tool for emergency response. Other programs are Loaris... work partially in safe mode (without ilnternet) and well in its entirety, but stop as soon as the malware takes over.
I think, I need to have the computer is running in safe mode with networking, but how do the internet to work in safe mode? any other ideas?
sincerely
Manuel Paulet
