• Code error-70012 and MAX freezes

  Hello

  I'm relatively new to LabVIEW, and I met a rather frustrating problem...

  I have a VI that operates a stepper motor.  It was working fine until I rebooted.   When I tried to run the VI after reboot, I met me-70012 error code and the error message "motion: ID illegal Council.» You must use the ID assigned to your controller able and Automation Explorer Board."

  I thought it was rather strange, especially as it was working before reboot. When I tried to access a panel of testing to the PXI-7342 via NI MAX, MAX froze and gave me an unsepcified error message.

  In my VI, the ID of the map is specified as a strict type definition.

  My equipment:

  PXI-7342 (two axes not to not/Servo Controller)

  MID-7602 (2 axes integrated power supply)

  PXI-8119 (Controller)

  Also, I can't seem to get the driver output fault (red) and the pilot light goes out inhibit (yellow) on the MID-7602.  The lights are on for all axes, even if I only have a climber attached to axis 1.

  I tried to reinstall the hardware OR of the motion.

  The PXI-8119 is a machine not connected to the network, so I doubt if there are updates that originited Online has incorporated without my knowledge.

• PIC-7344 causes error-70095 in MAX

  I have install NI PCI-7344. MAX 5.1 application firmware update. I did:

  7.20.3008 to 7.40.3003 68331

  DSP of 7.10.3003 to 7.32.3003.

  I can't initialize the card. MAX throws "error-70095 (NIMC_DSPCommunicationsTimeoutError) occurred in ConfigVectorSpace on 1 coordinate." Internal error. There was an internal timeout when sending commands to the DSP. "It happens 2 cards in a row. They are the new cards. I thought that they work.

  Please help me to overcome this error.

  Then the button [update Firmware] downloaded and flashed 4 firmware drivers for me: 7.40.3003 (68331), 7.32.3003 (DSP), 7.10.3003 (FPGA1) and 7.00.3001 (FPGA2). Different drivers between FPGA1 and FPGA2 is the cause of the problem. Right-click on the FPGA1 of the right list box item and choose 'download to device '. Initialization functions very well after that.

  You tun serviceconfig.sh under Hyperion_Home\products\Foundation\workspace\bin to bring up the GUI, and then in the menu layout, you will see remote service Configurator, select that and provide credentials. After you sign in, it should y RM1 and SB1. You will need to go o RM1 and SB1 properties and then to increase the connection. Need to reboot for it to take effect.

• cDAQ-9172 error message 200485 in Labview and 88705 Max

  My company has had this machine for awhile not operational.  I decided it was time to get this thing running but continue to flock to the top with a 200485 error when I try to run Labview and 88705-error when I try to change anything in the cDAQ-9172 runs at MAX.  I'll try to update the software and reinstall the drivers in the hope that it is a mistake to simple communication from the device to the computer, but in case it's something more serious that I am not seeing that I wanted to post this in the hope that someone might have an answer.  Thank you

  I would start by checking the device loader OR. Error 88705 in MAX is caused because the Windows Service OR device charger has not been loaded. Below is an article about starting the service knowledge base.

  Thanks to the detailed advice to http://forums.ni.com/t5/Machine-Vision/Do-IMAQdx-and-NI-hardware-support-GigE-Vision-2-0/m-p/3164373... we decided to move from GigE cameras (Basler BIP2-1920-30 c) IP cameras to reduce CPU load.

  Unfortunately, I cannot acquire images from the camera via IMAQdx. When I click on "Snap" NI Max, I get "error 0xBFF69035 the camera returned an unknown HTTP error. This could be the cause? (The only other thread, that I found is http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/camera-return-to-unknown-HTTP-error-in-Ni-Max-during-the-IP-axis/td-... but the steps proposed refers to GigE documentation that is not relevant)

  Notes:

  • The camera is connected directly on the LAN 2 port in the SMU (SMU-8135) controller.
  
  
  • I can ping the camera.
  
  
  • I can see the video stream from the camera via its web interface (using Internet Explorer to access http://169.254.75.137/webapp ).

  Thanks for your suggestions. It turns out that the IP settings are fine (although I still like to set static IP addresses for the camera and the PXI controller before you deploy the system).

  I found the system log unit of the Basler, who gets a new entry whenever I try to start an acquisition of NI MAX: user.err mjpeg: {2714} HTTP error 503: selected stream has wrong type of video (1! = 5). Then I discovered that (i) the camera default H.264 and (ii) IMAQdx only supports MJPEG, H.264 not.

  Setting the unit to use JPEG compression solves the problem.

  In fall 2007, I reported this ERROR 200016 on MAX and my software to the United Kingdom OR support, and they said that the problem was due to some ASUS motherboards and that it was not a problem EITHER.

  Unfortuantely, one of my external users to the Japan found the same problem on an Intel Extreme Series motherboard, and the error occurred during an internal software Trigger start rather that start external trigger.  His computer is composed of the following elements:
  Phones Intel DP45SG Extreme Series with an Intel P45 chipset and a LGA775 socket
  Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E7300 / 2.66GHz / front side bus at 1 066 MHz / 3 MB L2cache
  SAPPHIRE Radeon HD4650 graphics card
  Windows XP
  NI PCI - 6229 - M series
  NOR-DAQmx version 8.7.1

• end of file error encountered on real time

  I have a question ad with a deployment to the PSC controller. I had a successful deployment that requires a few tweeks. When I may have a few changes, I had some problems that resulted in an error "end of file". Here's what I know.

  1. Updated the CFP with System State Editor
  2. Seen CPU utilization to 100%
  3. Adjusted rate of Mark I/O wait 10ms on controller PSC and changes to the MAX
  4. Use of the CPU revised to 28%
  5. Changes made to the zone on controller to reflect the vs OF default UTC and apply changes in MAX
  6. Made minor changes to the Subvi, which I publish as a remote via a web browser front, compiled and deployed to the target.
  7. Tried to display the new Web page and got the message "server has regained control."
  8. Redone web publishing tool to check that I asked for control of Web page automatically.
  9. Application redeployed and recontroler web page. Always "server has regained control."
  10. Connection to the target is continually more complicated. Eventually produce a "Safe Mode, software error" displayed in MAX.
  11. Uninstalled all OS and drivers on the CFP.
  12. Reinstalled operating system and all the drivers on the CFP.
  13. Redeployed application and Web page show the Subvi front, but that was before it was performed i.e. I could see the run button.
  14. I reloaded the webpage and then the Subvi seems to run very slowly, without control, and the data was not updated correctly. But no more "Server took control. When I go out the program I get an error of "end of the island met" in a pop-up dialog box.

  I'm running a state machine configuration very simply with three loops. One to control the connection and TCP WRITE an exe running on another machine. A second to control the connection and TCP READ this same second machine. And a third loop to write FALSE CFP modules conditions, set up the 485 serial port and then to launch and run the Subvi that displays information via a Web page on an HMI. The Subvi displays data from a SQL database which I'm reading on this second machine and passing through to the CFP over TCP. As the Subvi has a problem loading the Web page, I think that the problem is in this loop. It could be connected to the remote façade code or could be the code to call the Subvi.

  Any suggestrions? I don't have the equipment. Its deployment on a production at a customer's line. I try to get the material back in so I can debug using my development computer.

  OK, we finally got this solved. Thanks to the effort given by Roger Hebert OR for assistance.

  It seems that I had two problems. The first was a 0 byte of 0% downloaded problem. When I took the CFP of the deployed network and put it on my network home, I did not delete the DNS server specified in the configuration of CFP page. As it was not present on my local network, he could not successfully download web page. Not that specified the server DNS correction of this problem.

  The second question was what "Server regained control" followed by the message "end of file". In my code I publish façade of a Subvi as a Web page. His single while loop that runs once and stores the information registers at offset. It is called repeatedly in a time while loop of the highest level VI. When the appearance of the façade of the Subvi was by default it worked fine. But when I changed it to a dialog box to hide the menu bar and the button, run by default the 'see the façade when it is called' and 'close later while initially closed' are archived in the VI window appearance properties. The 'close later while initially closed' caused all the problems. After that it ran, it closed and released the control on the server (CFP). When the loop of high level, still called the Subvi, she couldn't drop the Subvi, which had been closed.

• unknown exception MAX

  NOR-MAX used to work on this computer that is running Windows 7, but now whenever it starts, I get an error message about MAX encounters an unexpected error since its last.  By clicking 'Continue' gives me a splash screen for MAX, but after waiting a minute or two, the same unexpected error occurs and MAX disappears.  Removal and re-installation of MAX did not help.  The MAX upgrade did not help.  Now where should I look?

  In fact, things were not quite as simple as an upgrade from 5.3 5.4.  When I met the problem, I tried to do an uninstall of 5.3 followed by a 5.4 installation, but my problem persists.  MAX database reconstructions were considered then, but they also don't has not fixed the problem.  At this point, check with WIN7 told me that MAX was 5.3 version again, but failure begins told Max that it is 5.4.  Running 5.4 Installer told me he had nothing to do since I was already at 5.4.  The fix came to do a repair on MAX.  Seeking old discs install which reached in February 2011, I have no more.  Cancelling repair then leads to a reboot message, and after the Reboot, MAX was very good.  If the upgrade are perhaps the right thing to do, but for some reason my first upgrade seems to have been damaged or incomplete in some way.  The repair was the final solution.

• Hardware error MIG. Or not?

  I have a PXI-5406, who was moved to a PXI-1033. Installed and worked fine.

  But once the box of the PXI-1033 was off by misstake while the PC still worked and when the PXI-1033 has been restarted, the PXI-5406 was not available in the FGEN Panel and gave a material error diagnosed by MAX MIG.

  Restart still gives the same problem. Move them to another central computer, same problem. Reboot, removig some obsolete instrument MAX entries, reboot again.

  Now, the PXI-5406 is detected and OK, pass all the tests! Putting the PXI-1033, yet everything is OK.

  Sorry I did not observe the MAX error codes (available in some logs? Advice on the place where/what to look for?)

  So what's the MIG error, and what is a remedy for 'good '? If it was caused by force?

  A MIG error can mean a lot of different things, but it's normally pretty bad.

  The cure of 'good' means, in reality, all the steps you have taken, with the final step (which fortunately avoids) being an RMA the card number.

  I can only speculate, but power off is the most likely the cause. If this problem returns contact your local support and provide the error codes you get.

  Mix of period and comma with D and G can lead to an inconsistent format model.
  Actually G and D can be translated into comma or period comma depending on your NLS settings (and this may change at every moment and every session by session).
  If Oracle cannot check if your template format is correct or not and triggers the error.

• Satellite A200-1AX: many applications does not work under Vista

  I bought A200 1AX a few days ago and I'm not having a good experience with regard to the installation of applications on this Vista box. Even install yahoo messenger did not work and produces the NSIS error. 3D max 9 installation does not work (even though some have managed to operate); Install Adobe CS3 (supposed to be for Vista) did not entirely - the photopshop component have not installed, etc.

  The bottom line, I plan to move to XP OS. Means the required BIOS update I have my Vista recovery CD will NOT work after the switch to XP?

  Unfortunately I put t know how to help you.
  Usually, if the 3rd party applications are designed and support the Vista while there should be no problem with unique program facilities.

  Check if all software packages are completely cared for and compatible with Vista.

  We replaced our old computer laboratory with a new model and took the opportunity to also move to a more recent operating system (from Win XP to Win 7 64 bit) and to the current version of the CVI (2013 SP2) and its runtime of all device drivers (2014 versions of VISA's most recent...).

  as LPT 1 is included in the list of devices series, although there is no physically. Then try to open the port fails with the above error.

  MAX has the same problem, it lists LPT 1, but with a Red Cross, indicating that it is impossible to open it. The Windows Device Manager shows no LPT.

  So, my conclusion would be that there is a bug in VISA... I'm wrong, it's a bug to know, is there a work around to know?

• DAQmx writing doesn't 'follow' entry

  I'm stuck with a simple problem, no doubt, but I can't solve it despite much research.

  The top loop does not work at all because you have wired stop button inside him. Issue of base of data flow.   I connected an Agilent DSO6014L by a GPIB 82357 A Agilent to a Windows 7 Enterprise edition - 64-bit.

  Currently, I can run my VI because I use aliasnames which I attributed to the IOLib and MAX (below I've listed the steps I did).

  But Max I still got the error "0xBFFF003A (VI_ERROR_INV_SETUP)" of viFindRsrc.

  -> More funny. If I say / activate the tulip Passport - save parameters - and restart MAX. I don't have any errors and I see my GPIB instruments... uuuuntil I refresh the view!

  Steps to make it work:

  • Installed Labview 2014 - not reboot!
  • Keysight IO libraries Suite installation (default) 17.0.19313.5, automatically as secondary VISA
  • Under Keysight connection compatible Expert maps GPIB for 488 program and set options of PXI (Resource Manager active and responsible trigger by default) of National Instruments
  • Connected the GPIB 82357 A Agilent and install the driver (windows driver update speed search to jump to the top)
  • Install the driver for the oscilloscope (in my case ag6000 for DSO6014L for LabView 2014 32) and 64-bit support
  • Restart
  • Turn on the oscilloscope
  • He searches the IOLib - here everything works fine no problem to control the oscilloscope
  • In turn MAX on NiVisaTulip.dll under passports (MAX restart, get the 0xBFFF003A error)
  • Restart

  Now, there are some steps that I could possibly do before restarting:

  • MAX - all passports are activated. I checked the show box any device accessible to VISA. I gave the same alias to my instrument, as in Agielnt IOLib. Under conflict Manager Agilent Simulation VISA is selected and Agilent VISA is disabled, all chosen VISAs are the Canadian standard.
