Protection of password after entering sleep mode does not

I recently added another user to my windows laptop 8 and after mode password protection 'sleep', he stopped. I went in the power options, and this option is grayed out. All solutions?

If the option is greyed out, click the link above that says that "change settings that are not available.  He could ask administrator permission.

    Hello

Fitrst ensure that the printer has the latest firmware:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04083718

More don't forget to connect its completely directly to a wall outlet and not by some power strips, surge protectors, etc.

If the same results persists, try temporary disconnect a cable from the back of the printer in order to isolate any possible cause (e.g. fax, USB cable, etc.), remove one cable at a time and to check for the difference.

I suggest starting with telephone wires, telephone line condition as example may prevent the printer from sleep remaining.

Please let me know the results,

    Shlomi

  • Sleep mode does not

My computer will not go into sleep mode affter thedesignated time. I need to go to the start menu and maually click on it. I have tried to re-setting the time and which has not helped. It began started about 1 week ago. I have updated virus definitions and run a full scan with Norton 360, but nothing has changed

In fact, I had the same problem with my PC at home. The problem is that the 'media sharing' is enabled, and it prevents the computer from going to sleep. It took me over a year to find this.
In the change plan settings, you must go to - media settings - change when sharing media - "advanced power settings" to say "allow the computer to sleep". This took care of it.

  • "Sleep" mode does not work after Windows Update

After that a windows update 2 weeks ago my "mode" has been disabled. It is visible on the start menu, but is paler than other settings. I tried to restore my computer to before the update, but it says there is no date for the value. I've used the system restore and it worked fine. After the update my display settings have been changed also, but that was easily put back.

Can anyone help? I saw other people with similar problems, but I find no answers that worked on my computer.

  • HP LJ MFP M425dw 400 does not wake after entering sleep / Auto mode

    Hello

After you have installed the latest version of the firmware 20140521 (May 21, 2014), the device is not trampled after entering sleep / Auto Off mode.

The configuration of the device and save the settings listed below.

Tell me how to solve this problem?

It could be a hardware or a firmware related issue.

You try to perform a reset of the base unit and also try to send new firmware.

The device may need to be tested with additional troubleshooting steps, so I would say to make an appeal for support through your regional HP Support channel.

  • Sierra crash when after the "sleep mode"

My MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2012) after update of the sierra accident when, after the "sleep mode".

I try to reset the SMC sama NVRAM but always crash.

    suggest to solve?

    Thank you

When you say 'crash', what do you mean?

Probably something that runs in the background. Open the black Apple at the top left. Select system, then users and groups and login items Preferences. All deleted in this window.

You can add applications and programs back to the points of connection with a window to see what is the origin of the crash.

You can also start the computer start-up (hold down the SHIFT key when you start) which will make the computer start with no 3rd party apps. If that solves the problems, just disable the third-party applications and add back one by one until the problem occurs again.
