• VCSC & VCSE: device/user using LDAP authentication

  Hi all

  I configured the VCSC and VCSE for device authentication and the user using LDAP. The issue that I face is my Zone of course does not have connection to VCSE. I am sure that my LDAP works very well because everything works perfectyle (authentication of users, for example) with the exception of this. Status I got STRANDED on the page of the area traversed in VCS C.

  Has anyone encountered the same problem?

  I use Photoshop Elements 8 with Windows Vista.

  Last year, I installed PS8 on my new computer and restored a backup of my old computer. Everything worked fine but I noticed that my photos of root folder (named Jpegs) is now 9 levels down in the file structure with multiple levels of folders under the Jpeg file (see the path below).

  JPEG folder is located at:

  C:\Users\New_computer_account_name\Pictures\Adobe\Documents and Settings\Old_computer_account_name\My Documents\Old_computer_account_name\Pictures\Jpegs

  It seems to me that the last years my backup installation used the path of the complete folder from the old computer and added at the end of the path on the new computer.

  What should I do to up the files in the path of the folder so that they are easier to get to other than by using a shortcut?

  I'm assuming that photos appear as missing if I just move files using windows and have to go through a long and tedious process of reconnecting them (have more than 10,000 pictures catalogued).

  It would be easier to do a full backup, delete any folder below may be the "Adobe" folder then try a restore to get just a few levels down?

  What is the easiest way and most course of my photo files go up a few levels and at what level in the folder structure should be?

  I'm searching your forum and the Adobe help fields but cannot find an answer to my question.

  You move folders in PSE8.

  Open the organizer and click the Display button (near the top right) and the location of the folder.

  Expand the tree in the left panel to view the structure of the complete file.

  Select a folder and drag it to photos (normally the spyware case) or a folder of your choice.

  The destination folder will value you pass on it and you can then release the mouse.

  When complete click on the Display button and return to the thumbnail view if this is your default favorite.

  I have a folder of photos that I opened to see several thumbnails. I can left click on a picture and it will open full screen. Then I left click on this image and the next should show but nothing happens. I can use the keyboard arrows to move to the next photo, but I can't use the mouse. The left click works for everything I use it for. I've used regsvr32 /i shimgvw.dll and he said DllRegisterServer and DllInstall in shimgvw.dll succeeded. This does not solve the problem. This isn't a big deal, it just bugs _ on me because I'm a perfectionist. Thank you for your response and any other help would be appreciated.

  I install Vista on a new hard drive to 500 GB. I am partitioning the drive into two and want to keep records of data of the user on the D: half.   Yes.  One or both may not work properly.  If you use static IP ADDRESS a simple reboot of all devices should correct this.

  You can not.

  You need to query DB.

  Record this value in UserData structure so it will be available in the model. http://andrejusb.blogspot.com/2012/05/solution-for-sharing-global-user-data.html

  Then use as default expression for your objects of entity attributes (something like: adf.userSession.userData.yourUserDataVar).

  The idea of GUID is to link the user with its objects and when you refresh them, the user gets a new GUID number and its objects, even a new so it should have access to all of its current objects.

  Using Server Manager, to connect without specifying a server, then run a command to sessions list for your device and you will see the user and the server.
