  Have just upgraded to Windows 7.  I have the printer psc 1350 to work & print documents.  I can not get the computer recognized or even to recognize the scanner function.  I have the installation discs and who have tried but still no scanner function.

  Site Web of HP said that the Windows 7 software should recognize the psc1350.  It recognizes the printer function but NOT the scanner function.

  Any ideas?

• Adobe PDF printer works is not in Illustrator since 9.3.2 update.

  Hi all

  Since the update to Acrobat Pro 9.3.2,and I was not able to print to PDF from Illustrator using the printer Adobe PDF (Adobe PDF 9.0 on my printer list).

  I tried several reboots and also deleted the printer and run the Acrobat Installation of repair on the Help menu in Acrobat to reinstall the printer, but the problem remains.

  I also tried to print from other programs (Photoshop, Firefox and Thunderbird) and the printer worked fine so I suspect that this my be isolated to Illustrator.

  No error message is given and the Illustrator print jobs are listed as completed in the printer list, but no files are created.

  I have a work-around, printing of Postscript file, then conversion to PDF in Distiller and it seems to work very well, but not my ideal solution.

  I checked the updates in Illustrator, but none is available.

  System details:

  OS X 10.5.8 (MacBook Pro 15 ", about 2.5 years)

  Adobe Creative Suite CS 3, Acrobat Pro 9.3.2,and Illustrator 13.0.2

  Any ideas?

  Why not you use a direct recording to PDF in Illustrator? You will get a better product.

  I tried everything that I can think, but cannot get the duplexer on my 8600 all-in-printer to work. I tried my MAC o/s 10.8 x, Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04. The printer is configured as a print on my wifi network, and printing seems to work very well. The only thing that does not is the duplexer.

  You have printring duplex by default yet? You need to configure in the Preferences menu. Please try this:

  Click the icon of the printer on the desktop > click Preferences > select Remove windows to both sides (and flip).

  Click apply/Ok.

  After 6 days of reading material HP, I was getting ready to restore... but, for safety, I decided to try to print on both sides again.  Fortunately, I have selected an e mail that was too long to be printed on one side of the paper. The document came out of the printer duplex.

  My initial understanding of the two sides feel was that all the information on the document that I tried to print

  would be printed on both sides of the paper (don't ask why, I would like to duplicate information from both sides of the paper)

  For me, it seems everything works and has been all along. Maybe HP could add a sentence or two in the User Guide which advises users to situations where the 2 sides print is available, thanks for your advice of not not to load the driver base... probably saved other enigmas.

  Recently, I ran a windows update and leave my computer turned off.  When you turn it on, the were (are) of the internet and the printer does not.  I went into Device Manager via Control Panel to see if I could turn them on and there is nothing pulling up in the Device Manager.  All documents and are accessible, but I can't even start a new internet connection and cannot print.   I am currently using another computer (more modern) in another room.  I even tried the SafeMode (f8 in the middle) from the model and go to Device Manager and nothing was there.  I just tried to go through the f8 option and beginning to a previous state that worked and I have the same result...  Everything is saved on that on a 350g portable hard drive.  It would just be easier to wipe the hard drive and start over? If so how would I do this reformatting?  Thanks for any advice.

  Before you destroy by formatting the hard drive on your computer, I suggest that you do a restore of the system on the computer by choosing a restore point when it was working fine. You can check the link that will give you information about how to restore the system on the computer below:

  2. Repair disk permissions
  3. Restart the Mac.
  4. Follow this guide: install a printer Mac driver by using Apple Software Update
  5. In addition, to download this driver: HP v3.0 for OS X printer drivers

  Printer - it works

  Scanner - when you run the Application "Hp Scan and capture ' it comes back and says"device not found ".

  I tried - I ran 'HP print and scan doctor '.   Everything is OK except the "HP Scan".  He said that it was not able to find the HP Scan software on my computer.   When I went on HP customer support site to download it, I couldn't find it.  There is nothing that I could see which says "HP scanning software".   So this software HP Deskjet full functionality and drivers what I should download and install?

  BTW, the "HP Scan and Capture" application allows to work perfectly.  Not sure why it isn't now.

  When changed the type of network to a USB connection? scanning HP and Capture app support network scanners, it does support a USB connected device:

  In the HP Deskjet 3050 software select scan a Document or Photo and check if this can work...

  If the same persists, unplug the USB, uninstall the HP Deskjet 3050 basic software drivers from programs and features, then download and reinstall the most comprehensive software features again.

  If you prefer to continue to use the HP Scan application capture &, open the HP Deskjet 3050 software, click the utilities tab, click the printer installation software & and select Convert USB wireless to connect the printer to your network. then the Scan & Capture app should detect the scanner.
