  Hi all, I just did a clean reinstall Windows 7 on my XPS of 8700 (in reason to put in a new SDS). All right and it's working great, but there are two point in Device Manager with exclamation points that I can't get rid of. It's Controller of Bus SM and other devices. I tried to look for an update to the driver, but none have been found...

  The thing is, everything I want to do on my machine works fine as it is, so my questions are, can I disable or uninstall these things? What are they for? Etc...

  I made a successful11gR2 on OEL 5.4 installation. DB started great, access to the EM... etc. Life was good. I did the root.sh post... etc have it auto start on reboot... etc
  
  I had to resart the box for other things and now I can't seem to get the DB started again.
  
  My pain, it's that I can't find a clear direction on where I need to go. The Oracle user, root or my personality install.
  
  No my env vars seem to be more defined, and I lose hours pouring through the installation tasks to see if I missed something.

• How to change EM12c SGD hostname post install without aliases.

  Someone at - it measures to change the hostname post install WHO? My problem is that I have installed EM with the virtual host name that I intended to use as my PES hostname. So when I go to cut course using PES, then install the first SGD will break and be inaccessible to another WHO. Was able to get the first SGD working by putting an alias to hostname in/etc/hosts of the first OMS, but when I go to install the second SGD, of course, he says that he cannot reach the first SGD server using the SLB url. My bad, did this way of thinking that would save me having to re - establish hundreds of agents, which he did, but can't raise the second SGD. I think out of this I can choose a new hostname PES or just to change the host name of the installed WHO that I prefer to do about 50 dba has a link to this url to console 'EM.   Unfortunately, the only way I know to solve this problem is to perform a restore of the WHO using the different host.    basic steps to below, I have the doc that I have set up for a client a few years ago will try to turn into a blog and post here...

• Auto deploy a Post Install Actions

  I'm trying to find a good solution which will create a VM to a model as a post install activity after a 5.5 ESXi host is created via Auto deploy.  Here's the general idea...

  Bare metal-> ESXi (deployed self)-> create Virtual Machine (s)

  The whole process needs to be automated.  Power on the host, ESXi installed, created virtual machines... done.  I thought that vRealize Automation (VRA) that comes with vCenter might be the way to go, but I don't know how would be VRA called/activated at the end of the auto deploy processes.  Are there other options?

  I was talking with a guy on IRC #vmware and he stressed the vRealize Auto deploy plugin which can be the way to go.  Post the link here in case someone else needs it...

• Post install Vista SP2 issues

  I installed the x 64 SP2 of Vista on my computer. So far, I've noticed two problems:
  1. no is longer automatically updates Windows Defender . I have to do a manual update, which means that I have to "remember" to do. Really want to have the automatic update to work again.
  2. I've noticed that when I use the application Help & Support, the graphics do not appear. I just get a glimpse of the box with the red X (as you get on a site web - a placeholder for graphics).

  What should I do to solve these two problems?

  Before I updated the system to SP2, I have not either of these issues. That by applying the SP2 update. I have not installed new software, drivers, etc. Since the update to SP2.

  After reading many groups of Vista online, I finally found a page that responds to the problem of no graphics in the help and Support application. • Install issues with Rise of Nations

  I have a version of Rise of Nations: Gold Edition - I can't install on new Vista PC.  Tried to install from the disc - click on run as administrator, run auto - you name it, begins to run for a few seconds that everything stops.  Even when I move all the files to the PC - can't the .exe to go.

  Computer doesn't lock upwards, all the other apps will work perfectly.  Is it a question of settings or a security problem?  No engine installation seems to come.

  Make sure you have a good backup in place, then follow the steps below to try to install the game.

  1. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER. (If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.)
  2. On the general tab, click Selective startup.
  3. Under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
  4. Click the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
  5. Click OK.
  6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
  7. Log on to your account.
  8. TRY to INSTALL RISE of Nations

  Let us know if the installation was successful.

  If or even if not the installation was successful, after the attempt to install the game, please follow the steps below to restore your system to a normal startup

• C410A Windows 7 x 64 Driver install issue - fatal error

  I have a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 on a HP m8330f. The C410a driver package from the website installed perfectly on both machines Windows 8 x 64.

  However on the W7x64 I get error fatal hpoins52.dax, invalid drive R:\ network64.msi 1603 error.

  I tried installing the base driver, the reg32.dll, I deleted the mapping my real disk 'r' all that I found via Google with no joy. I did not attempt things from geek techno more complicated than those who are generally more trouble they set.

  I got c309a pilots and his retinue all previously installed without any problems. I ran a registry cleaner as well.

  Is there a program that will clean all the old programs of HP and I have a new copy of W7x64 on my machine. I can manually add the driver, but all I can do is print, I can't scan. In fact if I could get the scan function to work, I'd be happy.

  Ideas all who are fairly simple to do and get the results you want.

  You are welcome. I too am a little confused. So based on what is going to be something keeps pointing to your R:\ player for some reason any. If rub the software did not resolve the issue you may have to give in the "requirements" of the Microsoft software installer. What I mean is that you will need to locate the appropriate files and put them where they are currently being sought.

  Before which helps to try something different. Microsoft has a utility called Microsoft FixIt who can help you with a variety of problems. I am a link below will help you to install and uninstall problems. I suggest to use to uninstall the printer. It will search the registry and delete entries as much as she concludes relating to what you choose to uninstall.

  Hi all:

  Just re-installed Windows XP on my old HP Pavillion Entertainment Notebook DV1000 PC.  Several issues that apparently require software updates: Wireless is lighting in place as work but do not access my wireless network (all correct the security keys) entered, can not download Windows install Service Pack 3 and any other Windows XP upgrades include Explorer, Explorer closes at random times.  I use the 2001 version of explore 6.0.

  Tips to get all the updates that are installed on the internet before submitting to a disc order?  Also, assuming that I can update all Windows software that will solve my problem (s).  It's like a return to the old days of laptops sad, slow, buggy, and I was so proud of my help, I want to bring back this old dinosaur to life!

  OK got it works by manipulating inventory. It seems that there is an old facility that was causing the problem.

  Any resolution on this? In case the post installation steps are common - why they are not part of the standard installation so that it will not get missed.

  Hello
  If you have loged in IOM with the same database, I mean if it is the second facility on the same repository after loged in IOM, there is no chance to recover from this problem, because the password is encrypted in .xldatabasekey.

  The only thing you can try this xldatabasekey to restore your former location of the installation of the new location, but there is no guarantee.

  You need to reinstall the repository.
