PSC 1315 driver/Assistant download message

I am trying to download the driver for my HP psc 1315 which has disappeared from my laptop.  When I get redirected to the download page, I get the message of Internet Explorer that "this type of file can harm your computer. I get the message too, if I try to downloard Driver Wizard.

You download directly from hp.com? If so, I can assure you that they are safe. This message is from IE based on your security settings that some .exe can be malicious.

If you are unsure, you can go here to directly download the driver?

I need to use this print device. I know that this printer is very old, but I don't have any plan to buy a new one. Now if you'll excuse me I have not good English language skills.

PROBLEM I can't get my printer to work with this computer... I changed the default printer (HP Laser Jet P2050 Series PCL 6) at the mine and get a troubleshooting message... have also a red light flashing next to change cartridge and one beside copies.

    Hello

    ·         What happens when you try to print?

    ·         What is the code or an exact error message you get?

    ·         What operating system is installed on the computer?

    Method 1:

Run the fixit provided in the link below and check if it helps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-printer-problems

    Method 2:

I suggest that you install the latest driver for the printer and check if that helps:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&product=374568

    Method 3:

You can also uninstall the printer and then install and as a default and check if it solves the problem:

    Add or remove a printer

    Change your default printer

    Method 4:

  • Is it possible to set up in windows 7 for my printer HP psc 1315 all in one...?

.. .or is not possible, and it is best to think about to buy a new printer!

I was wasting far too much time trying to set up many "good drivers" for this device and will never work ok

My question is simple: "there is a device that works well with HP psc 1315 all-in-one Windows seven?

    Thanks in advance ;-)

    Peter

IF this is your printer/scanner - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4062&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=374568#N223 then there are drivers W7 32 and 64 bit available for this purpose.

Everything on the PC concerned with your HP printer uninstall, restart the PC, then download and use the appropriate driver (W7 - 32 or 64 bit depending upon need) and see what happens then.

Whatever it is, as its apparently supported, you're probably better asking HP if you did not already.

  • Windows 7 needs. INF file for network HP PSC 1315 printer

I have a HP PSC 1315 all-in-one printer connected to a Vista x 64 laptop. I connected the printer with my desktop Vista x 32 before the end, however, I've recently added a desktop Windows 7 x 32 on the network computer, and I can't add the printer. I installed the drivers from HP for Windows 7 x 32 site, but when I go to add the network printer, it says I need a. INF file. It recognizes the printer, but it wont let me connect or use unless I have that. The driver INF file. I don't see why I need something else, because I have the drivers and software already downloaded. The accompanying CD wouldn't help, either, because he has only XP drivers, and I have even more.

Try the following: go to the folder, devices and printers, add printer, a local printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Vista64Computer\printername (use the name of the actual share of the computer and the printer), OK, and then click Windows Update, and then select HP PSC 1310 series.

  • Cannot print/connection of Windows 7 for shared PSC 1315 on the XP Machine

I have a HP PSC 1315, connected to a computer running Windows XP (32 bit).  This printer is shared.  I can access it from other XP machines on my home network.  I can't access it from my computer Windows 7 (64-bit).  I can see the printer is shared on the computer, but when I double click on it, I get the following error:

"Windows can't find a driver for hp PSC 1310 series on the network."  To locate one manually, click on OK.  Otherwise, click Cancel and consult your network administrator or the printer manufacturer's Web site. »

Then I tried to download the driver Windows 7 (64 bit) of HP and installed on my Windows 7 machine:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=Al-75052-1&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=CA&...

At the end of the installation, it asks to connect the printer to the computer via USB.  Because I'm not physically the printer connected to the Windows 7 computer, I check the box that says I can't login now and go forward at the end.

Then I tried to connect to the printer and I get the same error.  I try to locate a driver manually.  I point to c:\windows\inf\ without success (I am * if * the driver info might settle there, but I don't know what the name of .inf).  Windows says that it cannot find an appropriate driver.  Maybe I should be looking elsewhere?

I found some troubleshooters on the HP website, but it does not give "shared printer on a network" as one of the schemes to solve connection problems.

I'm a little confused on this one.  Hoping that there will be something simple, I missed.

    Thank you!

Here's a good explanation of how to share a printer from an XP PC to Windows 7 PC on a network home.  It should work since Windows 7 (64-bit) PC can see the partition Windows XP 32-bit.  What you missed was the type of port to use for the network connection.

  • PSC 1315 does nothing

    Hello.

I just brought a range of printers HP psc 1315.  It is true that it is second hand but it should do the job, that we want to do.  However, when I plug the printer in, all the lights on the Panel on top remain on as well as a number of 8 in the window of copies and the printer does nothing.  It will not communicate with the computer and does not even go through a phase of "warm up" ranging from most printers through.  I downloaded and installed all the drivers and software, but the computer can not save the printer is here because he won't do anything.

Is this a common ploblem?  He's dead and we're better off getting another printer?  Can it be easily fixed or I did something wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    Dan

    Hello

If all the light keep burning as wel as long as all the light in the display of the number are on (showing an 8) it is more likely that the unit has a defect.

  • PSC 1315 + seven 64 bit error scanning

My setup is a Hp Pavilion with win seven 64-bit (with all the latest updates) and a psc 1315.

It still works fine with the HP software but now I'm trying to scan a document to a pdf file and I the situation below:

Windows not in use HP scanner, the scanning starts but it is very slow and when she finishes the software gives the error below.

I try the following without result:

-changing the mode to save (tiff, jpg, ecc) and the scanning resolution

    -restart the pc and printer

-uninstalling and reinstalling the driver from hp and corrective software and more recently

-performing HP print and scan doctor (everything is ok for him)

The only way to do a scan now is directly with the windows software.

Any ideas to solve the problem?

Hello, I read the proposed guide, I'm in the first case, all versions of Flash are updates, 12,0,0,77.
According to the guide, I have only to reinstall Hp software but I just did.

I also ran the patch that you set (and rebooted) but nothing is changed.

    Edit:

I am remembered that some time ago I increased the font size in windows (DPI resolution of 100% to 119%).
Now, I tried to get back to 100% and now the HP software works well.

At this point, I changed to new resolution to 119%, and however it works well.

  • ATI graphic driver says error message does not properly

I constantly get a message indicating that the ATI graphics driver does not work correctly.  I downloaded an update, but then got another message indicating that the file is not found.  Can you help me please?

    Hello

You mean you downloaded an updated driver? Download it again and note where you
put it as indicated in the driver updated of the methods below.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click – RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT
    After each installation.

Check with ATI (manually), supported drivers and their forums as they could be called

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - graphics card - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on set to update driver
(this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with
their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), then the manufacturer of the device
site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and)
software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AS ADMIN - reset after each
    installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up.
This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so
install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and try again if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check manually
    by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause

  • hp psc 1315 all-in-one printer has a memory/hard disk?

I want to have a printer all-in-one hp psc 1315. is there a hard drive than the personal information?

    Hello

With a few exceptions, most of the printers have not memory to hold the print jobs (which are not cleared by simply turning off the printer).  The only thing that can be stored in some printers (with fax capacity) is telephone numbers in the fax log.  I don't think that the PSC 1315 has a fax, but if you really want, you can do a hard reset I think that you can unplug the printer from its power source and by holding the power and Cancel buttons down.  You may see a flashing of the lights. That should do it!
