  A lot of JavaScript functionality was killed in Firefox 7.0.1 and this includes type it or paste javascript into the location bar (address bar). You had to jump through hoops to Firefox 6 - now there is no viable solution for a lot of what we do.

  Alternatives within Firefox that could allow you to interfere with that by are quite insufficient, I would stick with what works for you, for the moment,

  6 javascript in the url bar from Firefox works with a principal null for security reasons. In other words, that it is almost off. You need a bookmarklet or an add-on for a workaround. See question 871828.

  The main features of the AwesomeBar of Firefox have been compromised so that the search for bookmarks in the sidebar bar, library or the location is not reliable.
  You could always turn off JavaScript and had some limitations if you wait or ran into trouble before, but now Firefox works just fine and it is all the more infuriating when you find out that most of the disorders resulted from stripping the code that translates errors slowing things down and now in the blocking of the features you would expect in a browser.

  I'm having a problem getting my editor from PSE to work under Windows 7. It keeps closing on me. Y at - it a patch for it. It is a relatively new purchase. I don't want to upgrade to PSE 8 or I don't think it's fair that Adobe makes me to upgrade.

• Why can't I just copy it from the Finder Clipboard to editor of photo in PSE 15 for Mac

  I copied a photo (.jpg) image to the Clipboard. I check the contents of the Clipboard in the Finder, and the image is there. However when I go in the PSE 15 photo editor and try File/New/Image to the Clipboard, 'image of the paper' is gray as if he is not an image in the Clipboard. This is a bug or I'm missing something. Help.

  Hello

  -To copy the image to the Clipboard, first Open the image in preview.

  - Then using cmd + c to copy the content.

  -Now start PES.

  -Go to file-> new-> Image to the Clipboard.

  Image will get open to post-secondary studies.

• Why can't PSE 14 read a Canon EOS 5 d Mk iv raw CR2 file?

  I just bought a new Canon EOS 5 d Mk iv and I both CC 2015 and PSE 14. I've updated PS using CC and LR.  LR, PS and bridge now read EOS 5 d Mk iv raw files fine, but PSE 14 has not although he reads very well to pictures of EOS D5 Mk iii.

  in PSE 14 help/subject/Camera Raw = version 9.5.0.585 and

  Help/updates = your applications are up to date

  What should I do to make it work?

  ACR there two versions running simultaneously - a PSE 14 and one for LR and PS?

  I appreciate any help you can provide.

  You say that bridge can read your raw files so do you try a right click on the image and choosing PSE14 Editor?  See this picture:

  That's not true, PSE is not running, the system reboots doesn´t help. However, it is possible to start the PES Editor.

• PSE crashes when I try to PhotoMerge these Images

  When I try to create a panorama of the two attached images, PSE hangs or displays this error message:

  I know it's weird, but from the data in other thread, I set my default printer is a PDF printer and now it works. Shouldn't make any difference, but apparently it does.

  I recently bought the PSE 14 black and white Photo. Download received in my e-mail with the serial number and instructions... I download the program from the PSE 14 and it has been installed. After exploring this program I have encountered a few problems and could not resolve so I uninstalled PSE 14 thought I re - download and install to see if that helped issues. Well now, I can download the program, but when it tries to install it, I get a message that the installer initialization failed. Can't seem to solve this problem and don't know where to go... need help

• PSE 14 fit to the screen does not

  I've recently upgraded to PSE PSE 12 14 (on my Mac mini). Just after I upgraded the "fit to screen" in the menu display, stopped using the full editing window. Also when you open an image it didn't open not as large as possible. Then, something happened to this problem (I don't know what changed). Now a few weeks later it broke again. When I open an image there is a grey border and I can expand it at least two times before that it exceeds the size of the editing window. Using "Fit to the screen" makes the smaller image that the editing window. What is the problem and how can I solve this problem?

  How do fit you on the screen?

  You'll see > on screen, by double clicking on the hand tool icon in the Toolbox, Cmd-0 or...?

  Maybe reset 14 pse preferences will solve the problem.

  Go to the Adobe Photoshop elements editor > Preferences > general, click Reset on the next launch preferences and restart the editor PES 14.

  

• Migration from Lightroom to PSE 6

  I give up on LR6 as a library because the management of key words it is so difficult.

  So if I hit the button continue in the system dialog box write the relevant keyword to each file in turn.  It will not write all keywords in all files?  I thought I would ask before I commit the action on the files of 20K.

  Yes, you must choose "continue."

  It is easy to test the procedure in trying simply to import a small folder or subfolder.

  Sidecar files are an unknown area for me.  All my files are simple JPEG files.  Sorry to be a nuisance, but can you give me a little more information about the necessary steps to make writing key words in files please?

  Then, you have found the way to do it. If you shoot raw or use ACR for JPEG files, the process is much simpler.

  Also, given your comment about the creation of the hierarchy of keywords in the target, I looked at exporting keywords LR and import into PSE11.  But LR exports as a txt file while PSE11 requires an xml file.  What Miss me it please?  Do I have to recreate the keywords manually in PSE?

  I have not looked into the difference in export format of the hierarchy of keywords in LR and the Organizer. I'll take a look later, but xml files are a type of text file. No idea if they are compatible.

• Color profile question from lightroom to PSE 12.

  After changing for Windows 10 I find that the color profile is deleted when opening a file from Lightroom 6 to 12 of PSE.  I also get an error message when you try to load a 12 for 8.5 RAW update.  The error reads U44M1I210.  If anyone can help with the problem.

  Ok. What is the setting in Lightroom under preferences > external editing > color space? Here you have the choice between sRGB, Adobe RGB and ProPhoto. The default is ProPhoto, and unless you have changed, it is how it opens in the external editor (in your case, PES).

  If you view while in an another viewer of photos without color management, color will be away (dark and desaturated).

  Now, there may be color settings of the specific items that can strip or convert this profile, so I would still recommend that go. All I can do here is to take the floor for Lightroom and Photoshop.

• Duplicate the names of 'people' in PSE 14

  I accidentally named the same person twice, can someone tell me how to remove one of the names that keeps showing up whenever I went to appointing a person. He presents himself as what looks like a "rubber stamp" icon before the name rather than a photo. I merged all the photos in the right name, but I can't get rid of the duplicate name. I use PSE 14 on a mac. Thanks for any help

  Have you you merge these piles of people?

  Or you see two different cells of the same person appointees according to?

  In this case, you don't have that one battery of this person but two people tags, you can resolve this issue by following these steps.

  1. go in the media view and look for this tag in the tags people Panel

  2. you will see two tags different people with the same name

  3 locate the tag that no image is associated. Click with the right button on this tag and select Delete.

  I have created several software, files sizes up to 1.2 GB 400 MB, while I easiy can open smaller I can't open thos beyond 700 MB. PSE 14 says "incorrect Format".

  All files are treated beent the same way, my PC is 64 bit with 8 GB of RAM, the seetings in PSE 14 allowing more than 2 GB.

  Is there a size limit of individual files?

  Any idea what to change?
