  You have the option at any time to publish your project to a new site at the trial. Be sure to select the Options button in the pop-up edition and "publish on: ' field to scroll up to 'new '. Whenever you want to publish on your existing site, follow the same steps and click the site you want to publish on.

  Currently the publication process is low due to maintenance scheduled on Business Catalyst then you will not be able to do it right now. Check the status page later to see when it is finished: http://status.businesscatalyst.com

  I have my Dreamweaver site hosted with Hurricane Electric now and you want to move to Business Catalyst.  I tried to do it by opening my site in Dreamweaver and clicking on the choice of the Site/New Business catalyst Site menu but the dialog box only appears for a second and then disappears.  So next time, I tried going to my catalyst for business portal and the creation of a new site by importing my site existing since its URL, bitsong.com.  This imported most of the site but did not import the SWF files and the Unity3d player does not work.

  My question is, how do I get connected to this temporary site Dreamweaver: http://bitsong.businesscatalyst.com/ and get the rest of my downloaded files and work on this temporary site?  I can do this with FTP or I have to use a new Protocol, SFTP.  Thank you.

  P.S. I know that to push the live site, I have to change the server names of Hurricane Electric to Business Catalyst, but I would prefer not to push the live site until I have everything working on the temporary site.

  Thanks, I managed to get my site downloaded from Dreamweaver using the Site/New Business Catalyst Site menu in Dreamweaver CM³.  Then, once the site has been created, I deleted everything that was already there and downloaded from my own site.  It worked.  I had to download Dreamweaver CC for this.  For some reason, the menu new Business Catalyst has not worked in CS6.

  I suggest you sign upward to Google Webmaster tools (free) and check your site (directions are in the webmaster tools) and

  also consider joining Google analytic (also free).  Analytical will allow you to 'see' who is visiting your site and how they experience through research, order the seizure of the URL, or through the links, etc.  Also from where they come, how much per day, etc.  Lots of good information.

  Your site is a CCM that is located on a WebBasics plan (this plan does not e-mail hosted on Business Catalyst).

  If you want to create the email addresses on this site, you will need to configure your mail elsewhere server and configure the MX records on your site to point to the external mail server.

  If you want to use the hosted Business catalyst e-mail services, you should use a WebBasics + or superior siteplan. To upgrade your free CCM site, access administration area of your site-> Site Management-> upgrade now-> choose the desired site plan and billing frequency-> Add personal and credit card details-> Submit.

  Yes, you can create the site of Muse, publish on BC and test ecommerce, cms features.

  After you publish the test site, contact BC support so that they can upgrade the plan of test site to ecommerce trial plan.

  for a Business Catalyst temporary site, on my account.

  However, once they are all approved/paid, I intend for the customer to provide me with their their own hosting provider FTP details.

  I was wondering, how does the transition from Business Catalyst to a different provider?

  It is as easy as just clicking on the "Transfer to the FTP host" option and go into detail? and then deleting my account Business Catalyst Web page?

  I'm doing a visit with flash cs6. I need to know where to host my site.

  I have pages with the usual "contact us" forms need a php forms and later hopefully expand to include a MMO social networking and all the other fun online game functions.

  You can create the Muse website and then upload to your BC customer account with their login and password. Go in Edition > Preferences > publish account.

  You should add your customer account and then publish the site of Muse who would publish under your BC customer account, they can move to live site using their own subscription BC.

  When I connect to my account everything that appears is my main site (which is the only fully hosted) and when I go to 'My Details' to find my temporary accounts (under the tab drop-down "default site"), he asks me change the default - but I hesitate to do that I don't want to change MY settings from main site and also I do not know if it will give me the option to delete temporary sites.

  I'm trying to publish my site on BusinessCatalyst, but get a pop up message and muse stops. The error message says 'SiteFile.getCRC called with no content text or binary'.

  No problem before, but I made a few changes of fonts, and now I can't download. I have updated to Air and uninstalled/reinstalled Muse. Not sure that the program or where to start.

  Could you please share your with us .muse file to study? Please send it to [email protected]. If your file is larger than 20 MB, you can use something like Adobe SendNow SendThisFile or Dropbox. Don't forget to mention the link to this forum thread in your email so that we can identify the file.

  I'm about to do my Muse live site Web Business Catalyst.  However, I know that I will eventually have to revise existing pages - the addition of a few new features and also a couple of external links. I would feel more at ease to revise the entire site offline and download my entire revised site in lieu of catalyst for the company.  I don't see any instructions or info as to whether this is possible. Advice please.

  You can edit/change the contents of the site and then download BC, when downloading in BC, you can use the existing site, if you have already published the site or you can go with a new site of the trial.

  If you are referring to the replacement of any site in British Colombia, new content then the same process of updating the site will work. I'm missing something or you are looking for something else, then please correct me.
