  I want to use 'get the first matching node' vi to locate the node of "FA". The I use vi "To get the content of the text node" for the value "1800". I also want to get two node value 2015 and "1952.5". But my VI does not work. I spent my schema vi here. could someone take some time to look at? Thank you!

• transform xml using Labview report programmatically

  I want to turn the report xml standard for Teststand in a more user-friendly format for users who need to view reports, but do not have access to the test station.  Check out the attached code.  It should work, but I get this error. "Objects of type"Script2"need not have such a member" "Script2" made reference to node msxsl: script javascript in the stylesheet horizontal.xsl Teststand.

  Well, I was just busy with the same question.

  I did a VI that transforms an XML in HTML.

  Input: output the XML and the path to the style sheet, an HTML tag in the same folder.

  Made in Labview 8.5.

  I have only tested with horizontal.xsl, as this is the format that I always use.

• Publisher XML with Excel output doesnot display values 000 or 0000

  Report XML Publisher looks like a table that has segment values that are stored in '000' or '0000' in the database.

  They are stored as characters in the database.

  XML editor when it is running, does not display these Excel output values if these are text fields (such as it is defined in the XML model).

  If she values such as 11190, it displays.

  If she values such as '000' or '0000', it doesnot display at all. They appear empty.

  Please advise on how to solve this problem.

• Publish reports migration with graphic functions.

  I'm working on the relationship between 10g and 11g migration and I have a problem with the reports that contains a chart. They give the following error when I run them against the report of 11g Server (they work very well against the server 10g with on all issues)
  
  The report stopped with the error:
  REP-56048: engine rwEng-1 crushed., job Id: 24.
  
  I searched on Google for a solution to fix them, the closer, I found was install Oracle Graphics 6i engine in a House separate from the Oracle, but this has been said for 9i and 10g, you can find that in the oracle document below:

  Hello Sona,
  Unfortunately installation chart 6i to one OH for 11g will not work. This option is possible as long as 10g as a temporary option during migration to the BI beans new chart features in gr 10, 2 and 11 g.

  How can I migrate my Oracle graphics cards to the new chart format in reports of Oracle9i or Oracle10g reports?

  Oracle9i Release 1 go, graphical reports from Oracle was desupported. Reports of Oracle9i and Oracle10g use BI beans to generate graphs. Because of the underlying technology, there is no way to direct migration of Oracle Graphics to the bean BI graphing functionality. Therefore, the user will need to rewrite all their new graphics with the graphic Wizard in Report Builder.

  As stated in the declaration of the Oracle reports, Oracle Graphics is no longer ships with Oracle Reports. However, as part of the migration route, you can still run Oracle Oracle reports graphic graphics if you install Oracle 6i graphics engine in a separate Oracle home. You must only maintain graph Oracle 6i as a temporary measure while redesign you your new charts using the chart wizard. • Problems using panels of remote façade with LabVIEW 8.6

  Hi all

  I have an executable in time real LabVIEW I have deployed and running on a PSC-2220, and now I want to access the façade of this executable from a local computer connected to it.  I'm doing it by running a VI on the local computer that uses the "RP. Open the connection to the server"VI.  I used a similar setup with a PSC and LabVIEW 8.5 and it worked very well.  I went through a lot of documentation on the site OR on the way to implement and did all the usual things:

  I have the VI in a project deployed on the CFP.

  I activated the web server and VI server on the target.

  I am passing the correct name of VI, IP address and the port at RP. Open connection to the server

  I can see that RT executable runs on the CFP, when I deploy it.  My problem occurs when I make the call to RP. Connection to Open the VI server executes the call, but the façade of the executable of RT on the CFP never opens, and I never an error of appellant VI (I have a PR of VI to a dialogue and an indicator error and I get nothing).  He calls the VI of PR, but then wait indefinitely and never opens the front of the executable RT.  This same problem occurs when I try to do the remote façade using web publishing tool, or when I use the option "Connect to remote front panel" in LabVIEW.

  Has anyone ever seen this before, or know of anything I could hurt?  Is this a problem with 8.6?

  You use FieldPoint 6.0.2?  We have a report of Corrective Action (#125870) for the remote front panels for the cFP-2220 with LabVIEW 8.6 and FieldPoint 6.0.2.  R & D is currently working on a fix, until then, the only known workaround is to use LabVIEW 8.5.1.

  I found a driver for the 2612 has, but he says that it is only compatible with LabView 8 or later:

  Edit - this is a style of project pilot who introduced with LabVIEW 8. It might take a little longer.

• Cannot bind to the shared object created with LabVIEW 2009

  I have problems referring to a shared library built from a LabVIEW VI under RHEL 5 with LabVIEW 2009.

  To illustrate the problem, I created a VI with a digital input and output that corresponds to a certain number. Then, I created a draft specification of build to create a shared library with a feature that makes use of this VI square. The shared object is created successfully (square.so).

  When I try to compile a test application written in C, that connects to this library, I get errors in the following link:

  Running ldd reveals that liblvrtdark.so.9.0 is used for the execution of labview.

  In order to investigate on what could be the cause of the problem, I have compiled the nidaqmx basic examples, and I don't have an error. Current running ldd as reveals that he uses liblvrtdark.so.8.2 for the view of laboratory, time of execution.

  My suspicion is that some components of labview are being compiled with gcc 3.4 while others are being compiled with gcc 4.1 (which is the default compiler in RHEL 5).

  Any ideas how I could fix the build errors?

  I'm happy to report that I managed to get the code to work. I have included some of the steps I experienced the problem in case it might help improve the documentation or future generations.

  In response to your question about the "error 1" reported by do, it's just an indication that detected a compiler error (it probably resembles the return code of the compiler).

  The errors ' undefined reference... @GLIBCXX_3.4.9 "have been narrowed down. The generated labview shared library, the square.so, links to /usr/local/lib/LabVIEW-2009/patchlib/libstdc++.so.6 which is a symlink to usr/local/lib/LabVIEW-2009/patchlib/libstdc++.so.6.0.9. I decided to compare this version of libstdc ++ that included with RHEL:

  When you try to run the application, I got the following error:

  ./test: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/lib/liblvrtdark.so.9.0: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied
  

  But apparently, it's because of SELinux prohibiting the use of libraries shared with moving text.
  This can be disabled by running /usr/sbin/setenforce 0 as root.

  The test application now works!

• Report XML lack style sheet location

  I have a question about the XML report generated by TestStand. I use a heavy custom style based off NOR example style sheet horizontal.xsl. Report generation works fine on my system of development however when the sequence is deployed on machine runtime the report XML header is missing the stylesheet location. That is to say:

  Thanks for the reply.

  I found the problem. I determine the location of the style sheet by using a registry key. The registry key listed double slashes which resulted in the style sheet is not found. For example. C:\\Test\\T6MK6_PAS_Test_Sheet.xsl. With a single slash, the program worked as except.

• File playback with LabVIEW 2009 AREA

  Hi all

  I have a device connected to my PC that stores data in a file "file.area" ASCII type

  When I open this file with Excel, I can read the data. Butwhen I open it with a text editor (like Notepad ++), I see the Chineese lines... Same thing when I opened the file with LabView.

  I've attached an example of this type of (compressed) file.

  So, can I export (convert) this file to a. XLS file using labview to exploit it later?
  Is it possible to eploit directly this file with LabView?

  PS: It is NOT possible to create. TXT or. XLS file directly by the software of this unit.

• XML with multi-sequence UTF8 byte characters

  Anyone know how to recover a document XML with the UTF8 sequence several bytes of the characters to a database ORADB11g (ORADB10g works very well)? If I use the method below UTF8 sequence several bytes of characters are treated as characters separated instead of a single character. I use binary XML and the following pots (of an ORADB11g installation):

  What we are looking for is a similar solution such as Microsoft reporting services;
  (1) create models of corporate report
  (2) and then download the template files to a location (for example, the folder on the server)
  (3) then all users in the company can access it through a web browser with a few fields which they can enter certain critiria (e.g. order number).
  (4) then send it to the printer and print out must stand exactly as the model.
  
  
  Unfortunately, we had very hard time trying to find out what it takes and how to publish this report in Oracle we have created. We spent 15 hours on it, but no results.
  
  15 hours we tried to install the 'Oracle' service, but finally, my colleague said that it was not what we are looking for you, "report Oracle service" is used to the error of the hosted application on the server, not to publish the report of company created by the "Oracle report bulider.
  
  
  We use Oracle Database 10 g for the LES quite a long time already. We had setup the Oracle Developer and the installed Application Server.
  
  Could someone tell us please what kind of service Oracle we are looking actually. Other guides any suggestion and installation are also the most welcoming.

  Only by exporting - with Photos (and iPhoto and Aperture) - you can have several versions of an image by duplicating the image (control - D), but this does not create an image file separated until you export - it creates a separate edit list in the database that applies to the original when you watch or export the photos
