  For the Tecra M2 you need a HARD drive with IDE interface, and this means that the HDD from eBay should also work on your laptop properly.

  As far as I know the Tecra M2 may due the only handful of 28-bit LBA limit s HDD up to 128 GB 120 GB HARD drive should work. :)

  I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help me. I checked elsewhere, but could not find a working solution. Here is the problem Im facing with my laptop Tecra A8-103. I found yesterday evening (31 October 2009) that Toshiba Assist button and the button Toshiba format are no longer works when you press on them. What is someone having the same problem and how did you solve it? If anyone knows how, please share it with me. I need a step by step solution because I'm not good with computers. Thank you very much.

  Other information about my Tecra A8-103:
  He joined Windows Vista Business Edition inside when I bought it 2 years ago.
  With the updates of windows, I am now on SP2.

  I reinstalled the driver of value added package of download from Toshiba site nothing is done. What other option that I need to get this 2 buttons work?

  I don't have this model of laptop, but as far as I know, these buttons can be defined by the user. So try please start button configuration tool and check if the option is where you define which application should be open to each button.

  I'm new to the forum and I have a question whose answer
  I couldn't find on the web and here in the forum (at least with my keywords; please direct me if failed).

  For some time I am owner of a Tecra R950-15E running Win7 Pro 64-bit and am very satisfied with it.
  The only thing that bothers me a bit is the Wi - Fi mode.
  I know that by pressing "FN + F8" I can turn the wireless (WiFi and 3G) modes on and off.

  It seems that by default the wireless modes are turned on after starting the system.
  I would like to have everything turned off by deafult (primarily to conserve battery power) and only turn it on manually when I really need.

  Now I have to do the reverse by turning off manually after the system starts and I have not found a setting to change to my preference.

  Does anyone have an idea to fix it?

  I m very surprised of your question here in the forum, because usually the laptop / system must remember the last State of Wi - Fi.
  This means that Wi - Fi should remain disabled, in which case the WiFi has been disabled just before logging off the power.

  Try reinstalling the driver WLan just to check if it would solve your tiny issue.
  You will need to uninstall the WLan driver before you start a new installation.

  The Windows operating system and the graphics driver choose the right color management. You n t need to install anything.

  It shouldn't be too bad...

  Select the HeaderSubform and access the object palette and tab Navigation.  Add a conditional jump, but by clicking on the "Edit" button next to the word "Conditional" and then the sign + at the top of the window that appears.

  Choose the JavaScript language.  In the 'Condition' field, type this expression:

  this.instanceIndex > 0

  It's going to say "when this is true, make this page break," where a "conditional" page break.

  Select pause 'Before', and where it says "To", select "top of Page" in the drop-down arrow.

  Basically, what this will do is whenever the HeaderSubform is NOT the first, stick it on the next page.

• Tecra S3: Driver needed to activate the resolution to 1680 x 1050 on external monitor

  I am looking for a driver for Windows XP that supports an external monitor to 1680 x 1050 on a Tecra S3.
  So far with the Toshiba drivers I can only use 1440 x 900.
  The monitor can be detected through its resolution.

  1. There is no official driver of Toshiba or Nvidia with this resolution.
  I tested the driver 165.01 http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers with the external resolution 1680 x 1050 and it works very well.
  Download the driver and updated the inf file.

  2. even if you are using the docker, there is no way to use two external monitors connected VGA and DVI simultaneously. This is not supported.
  Only of external solutions with a separate adapter grafics provide (for example Toshiba Dynadock, a usb solution). But from my point of view, all are not very satisfactory.

  What operating system do you use?

  If you have installed Win XP a common Module and Toshiba controls must be installed to ensure that all button Toshiba would serve.
