Purple screen when the backup starts

Dear all,

We have an Esxi (build HP) box (HP DL380 G5 - f/w 8.4) with a HP Ultrium 2 external drive connected via a PCIE of Adaptec 29320LPE card.

Each time you start MS Backup we get a GROUP (see photo below).

I haven't read a BAND before so don't know if it points to the bands or the SCSI card drive?

Can anyone help please?

What backup software that you are using? The tape drive is presented to the guest operating system?

Try to change the disc type of the LSI Logic logical BUS tape drive if you use

You can post your vmkernel newspaper after appearance of the GROUP?

What MS OS runs on the VM?

Shan

  • Black screen when the computer starts.

    Original title: Windows startup

Since today, when I start my computer (windows 7), he crosses to the Welcome to windows screen, then goes to a black screen with just the active mouse - no office. I used ctrl-alt-del and looked at the running processes. There were 2 'runonce' process running, and when I stopped one, it is loaded on the desktop. This happens everytime I turn on the computer. Is there any solution for this?

    Hello

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community.

From the description of the problem, I can understand that your computer goes to a black screen after login. I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    1. What happens when you right click the mouse on the black screen. Do you get the options?
    2. What is the brand and model of your computer?

Especially this problem appears due to lack, corrupt or incompatible display driver problem, however, there may be other causes as third-party programs collide, virus/malware etc as well attack.

You can try these methods mentioned below and check if it helps:

Method 1: Please follow the suggestions listed in the link below:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/why-is-my-screen-black-when-i-start-Windows-7

Method 2: I suggest you to run Microsoft Safety Scanner to search for viruses and malware and remove if necessary.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Hope this information was helpful and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help.

  • The speakers click when the fan starts and stops Equium A100-147

I recently bought the 100-147 satellite and noticed that a click comes from the speakers (or headphones or external speakers) when the fan starts up and even when the fan stops. Sometimes it s quite remarkable, other times not so remarkable.

Everyone can hear that click? If it's normal, I can live with that, otherwise I will return it for repair. Any comment please?

In addition, it seems slow at startup and shut down. Put into service takes 2 minutes and 35 seconds, and stop to 33 seconds. Is this normal bearing in mind, it is running MCE? I have loaded additional software such as Itunes, Nero, Office 2000, Photoshop 5.0 etc.

    Thank you for reading.

Clicking noise when the fan starts or stops turning is not uncommon. On my satellite a similar sound will appear when the fans begin to turn or the HARD disk starts to spin.
Then worry about don t, I think its OK.

The start-up procedure can take several times when a lot of applications and software to load at the beginning. Equium A100 seems to be one of the newer laptops, and I assume that different applications Toshiba load at the beginning.
Also an Antivirus applications could extend the startup procedure.

You might try testing something. Disable the antivirus of loading at the beginning and check if the laptop will start faster.

It s even with stops. All background processes that are run in the context of the operating system should be closed until the laptop shuts down completely.

I use a computer that is running Windows XP SP3. The default selection is "Current user" and there is a checkbox to "protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity. The other button is for "the next user. That remove the HP software solves the problem. I installed with the latest HP drivers and tried to use only the printer drivers without the scanner software. If I avoids the HP software, Windows installs with a Jungo win driver that causes the same result. It could have been an update of my Windows XP Home SP3 in the meantime I demolished the printer and reinstalled, but I can't follow any other changes.

Now the printer is useless because of this problem. HP forums suggested disabling a program of tracking of HP under Services.msc, but who has also failed to solve the problem. Any suggestions?

To clear pending files, select the files/folders in the 'Files to add to the CD/DVD' box and press DELETE. However, if you want to delete all files, click the CD/DVD drive and select 'Clear the staging area' from the context menu.

I'M PLAYING THE GAME "PANZER GENERAL 2, WHEN THE GAME STARTS TO RUN THE BROWSER CRASHES.

After that, I have to go to master to stop and start again... I have read all the post I can find and I updated the driver and reset the display and SO ON, SO ON, AND...

I played this game on windows xp and I have done everything but put A BULLET in it and I think about IT!

I'd be willing to by a new game made for windows 7 but does...

MANY OF THE POST TALK ABOUT A 64-BIT SYSTEM, BUT MINED IS A 32-BIT, SO THERE HAS NOT BEEN TWO MANY ANSWERS...

    "HELP!" @!@!

    PAPABOB68

"I updated the driver and reset the display and SO ON, SO ON, AND ON...". »

It is better to translate 'SO ON'... to something specific, or you can read suggestions for

have you tried things once again.

-Include your brand of processor graphics and model as well.

-The best place for the hotfixes to vintage games is usually on a specific to this game fan site,

    or the developer forums, but...

    "but mine is 32 bits"

(Assuming you are using the disk depending on the version of the game.)

-A 32-bit Windows can be an advantage with some games of this vintage (release date of 97) as

always use a 16-bit Installer, which will run on 32-bit but not 64-bit of Windows.

Apart from that, there should be no difference between the OS versions for compatibility.

-However, prior to version 2000 games (and some newer), may have other

questions that make them run poorly. Audio and color are two common problems.

-The camera may result from a problem with earlier versions of Open GL, Direct 3D.

DirectPlay and Glide3D (gone, but not forgotten) can be a problem sometimes too?

These questions sometimes have patches on based fan sites.

-Some 97 games maybe still based back that requires using the window BACK, an emulator "BACK."

Good old games sells some vintage games with DRM (copy of code protection) removed, and installs

    with BACK box automatically.

They have Panzer General 2 for $10 USD, but if you expect one of their frequent sales you should be

able to pick up for US $5-$ or less.

    http://www.Gog.com/

[ EDIT: just watched add it, and it seems to be a DirectX game 9] It must have been updated DX9

    for the downloadable version.

It can been Direct3D when released.  DX 9 was not released before 2002

-All on the theme of DirectX. If you have not updated DirectX, you should do it.

Win7 is not the most recent DX 9, 10 or 11 files when first installed.

Download installer Web Runtime DirectX end-user of the official Microsoft Download Center ]

-You can also use D-Fend Reloaded, which is a user interface that reduces the learning curve for the DOS window.

The download includes the box and a few BACK based games start practicing.

    D - Fend Reloaded: overview

Finally, and above all by an effort... An important announcement for all users of the disk based games.

-A new (since Win10) problems with the old disk based games comes from malicious software developed by MS - DRM blocking.

If your disc games has a file called - secdrv.sys - on it, the game will be blocked by a

    Windows 'security update' - KB3086255-.

I have more information about the blocking of the DRM, including how to work around this - here -
