  My laptop does not turn when I push the power button / stop and nor adjacent to the plug adapter lights turn on when I put the power supply. It behaves like completely dead. I pressed the button for 30 seconds as suggested in the following thread.

  I suggest to ask a repair shop of PC or laptop.

  If the cost of repair is more than 50% of the current value of the laptop, you would be better sourcing of a notebook replacement.

  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  The first thing I would say is to remove all external devices from your PC (except the mouse and keyboard) and then restart.  If she does not always correctly, then try to start safe mode.  Here is a link that explains the Safe Mode and how to start to it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222

  Hello

  If you select the table and open the editor properties, and then in the toolbar of it it is a pencil icon "Edit component Definition" which opens again the table configuration window. Just check the option filter here, and you're all set.

• Satellite 1005: Push the power button, will turn off the AC power.

  Laptop: Toshiba Satellite 1005

  Problem: When I press the power button and let go, the laptop immediately loses all power.

  I use the power cord plugged into the laptop, the power supply light is green, but when I press the power button and let go, as soon as the power light goes black(turns off), nothing happens.

  Howerver, if I PRESS the power button without letting go, power LED lights, but the laptop won't boot at all, no Startup logo, no sound no matter what.

  It's the second time this has happened, the first time, I let stand overnight and the next day she booted up fine.

  Currently, the laptop is cold, it did not work, but always the same thing as described above.

  There are no changes made to the laptop.

  Any ideas?

  It seems that the contact, the power button is faulty. Better to elevate the laptop to a Toshiba service station for a check.

  With the card Sandisk cut on my belt, I often find that bending or other movements of the body causes the music change stations or mp3 to reatart.  Is the a lock switch that prevents the unwanted changes?  Someone made a hard case that skillfully to suit the player and prevent a buttons pushed unintentionaly?

  Hold the BACKSPACE key for 2 seconds to activate the key lock, press and hold back button 2 seconds to turn off.

• Satellite M110 - Orange light flashes when I push the power button

  Sounds like a serious problem of material... You can start Notepad without AC/DC adapter or is the battery charging adapter?

  Try to delete also the adapter AC and the battery for an hour at least. Then reconnect the two and try to start the laptop.

  If they are hanging in the shipping process, you might be able to stop in the activity window. However, if they have already been sent, there is no stopping an e-mail.

• 10 to 20 pushes the power button on the top of PC to start on m9400f

  My m9400f was wonderful beyond 3-4 months. If the PC is disconnected from the wall even momentarily, when plugged in again, I can sometimes press the power switch 10 to 20 times before the computer starts. Sometimes it does not start at all. I leave it for a day or two and then try again, pressing 10 to 20 times and all of a sudden, the PC will begin to turn. There is no flicker of the screen nor any indication that the power supply has a problem. Thank you. -Paul

  I need help to change my screen in its original position, I think that's probably a problem of desltop and customization, but I'm not technically savvy, nor do I enjoy reading backwards!

  Try to press Ctrl + Alt + up ARROW, or try Ctrl + Alt + and a different key to the arrow.

  If this does not work: right click on the empty desk > graphics > Rotation.
