PX1267E - 32 1 slow HARD 320 GB - data transfer disk

OK, here's the thing!
I have connected my HARD drive to the computer and I get this message: this driver can run faster blah blah blah!... blah

Although on my computer all USB 2.0 ports. It s a laptop that I bought last year and if I connect the HARD drive to other computers, it works very well not just not on mine.
I connected the other drives on my computer, they are all very beautiful work!

So, what should I do? Please help me because I need to back up my data and if the transfer is slow... it'll take years.

Thank you!

Hello

A suggestion would be to update your chipset drivers. Could you please tell me what model of Toshiba and what operating system is on your computer?

In most cases tosh books have an Intel chipset, so if you have a (you can verify by going to Manager device and research in the "System devices" section - if you have a chipset intel, then the number of entries with "intel" should be there) then visit www.intel.com and download the latest version of the chipset software.

Install it and give some feedback if it worked.

Welcome them

  • Sudden slow data transfer

    Hello

I am happily using my 3 GB Time Capsule for the last 18 months with no problems. I use it almost exclusively as data storage for my Plex server. I use it wirelessly to my Macbook Pro 2014, in the same room.

Yesterday, without change to explain it, it has become very slow to transfer files to it.

I am at a loss, as most of the solutions I looked for people who have had problems of speed from the beginning, mine was a sudden appearance.

Speeds do not seem to affect my streaming quality that I can still watch a 1080 p 5 gb + video file without stuttering or offset. The problem is isolated to the data transfer it seems.

    Any suggestions where to start?

I use it almost exclusively as data storage for my Plex server. I use it wirelessly to my Macbook Pro 2014, in the same room.

The plex server is connected by ethernet?

Speeds do not seem to affect my streaming quality that I can still watch a 1080 p 5 gb + video file without stuttering or offset.

It would be difficult to know if streaming is more... and more through your Macbook wireless...

So I just need to know what is connected by ethernet and what is connected by wireless.

Wireless is seriously affected by a number of things. So I guess that the first test is to connect the laptop to the TC by ethernet and make sure that it works very well. If your ethernet Mac buy a crush on ethernet card... a necessity, in my humble OPINION... as trying to fix wireless more wireless resembles sawing off the branch that which you are sitting.

If you can determine the network of the question... Then we can do the simple things...

    Run the diagnostics wireless...

Just restart the entire network, which I am assuming that you tried but did not mention.

Simultaneous copy of a file on the hard drive while also streaming can also be stressing the TC... If the tests should be carried out without any other use of disk passes.

  • Slow data transfer between computer and HP Laser Jet 1320n

I recently bought a laptop with windows 8.1 and successfully connected to 1320n times via LAN and wireless networks. Problem is when I try to print .pdf files, data transfer from my computer to the printer seems very slow and that's why it takes several minutes to print 10 pages. On the print window of my system, it tells me the data to transfer a file from pdf page 14 are about 75 MB.

    My questions are:

    1-is-normal this size of data?

    2. What can I do to increase the transfer speed?

    Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for the reply.

I hae has solved the problem by installing the drivers that are on the product page (I was using the Windows drivers when I had the problem). Everything works as it should now.

  • Copy the hard of a data to another store

I need a script to copy a file hard of a data to another store. I'm wanting to copy a block aligned to the hd format of a data to a newly created virtual computer store, but I'm not eager to do it manually every time, I create a virtual machine. Any suggestions?

You can use the Copy-DatastoreItem cmdlet to do this.

Seems that I forgot the hard drive Copy cmdlet.

    Makes it even easier

    For example:

    $newLocation = "[DS2] NewFolder"
    $vmName = "PC1"
    Get-VM $vmName | Get-HardDisk | %{
         Copy-HardDisk -HardDisk $_ -DestinationPath $newLocation
    }

This will copy all the hard drives on PC1 on the new data store.

Note that you must be connected to an ESX (i), not the vCenter server.

  • Satellite A40-151 started very slow and have hours to transfer a single file

    Hello.

I've had my A40-151 more than two years now, and up to last month, I got no problems at all. However, last month, it began to be very slow and took hours to initialize. I'm worried that I would lose all the data that I didn't back up, and so I bought an external drive to transfer data.

As I was doing this, my laptop started making grinding noises, and it took up to 12 hours to transfer a single file. I got to the place, I bought it, and they said it had crashed and that it was not something they could do other than get it back - and so I lost all my data.

When I came back, it was OK for a few hours and then started grinding again! And I think it might be something to do with the CD/DVD drive. I uninstalled the drive, and the squeaking seems to have stopped as long as the "drawer" player is open! Help, please!

How can I get the drive replaced? My laptop is no longer under warranty. No I lost everything this that data for nothing?

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Hello

No, the squeaking is probably from the reader of CD/DVD being dry, while optical rides on squeak track passing. But the long loading is certainly a hard drive problem. Looks like a head crash. The head is more or less what locates and reads/writes data from the HARD drive. When this plant it is unable to read/write/or locate the data on the surface taking more and more to save the data, transfer data and load the operating system. Two problems independent of each other. If your ASP cannot repair the cd that squeaks, then they can replace it one that works normally. I hope this has helped you.

  • What are the motherboard data transfer rate on a HP G60 - 243CL?

I bought my laptop HP G60 - 243CL of Costco 3 years ago and continues to function perfectly. Since then I have maxed out the 320 Gig HARD drive. A few days ago, I transferred all my multimedia files of a terabyte of 1.5 external HDD. I also removed and uninstalled all the software that didn't come with the laptop pre-installed. I ran the Disk Cleaner to delete the temporary files... etc. I left pretty much the State of Out-Of-The-Box laptop... I also ran the Windows disk defragmentation application.  Although it has all updates from Windows Update. I doubt that the above mentioned is relevant to my question. The laptop came with two modules of RAM PC2-5300... a 1 Gig and 2 Gig. I replaced both with two sticks of modules/memory 2 GB PC2 - 6400. Other that this hardware upgrade, I've also upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate edition 64-bit. Now, I am also considering upgrading to an SSD HARD drive. I have of course read/write speeds rise as SSD memory ability increases (depending on model)... for ex: there is a huge difference in the rate of data transfer speeds in a 32 Gig SSD compared to a 256 GB SSD. At least that's what I noticed. I want to install a Gig of CRUCIAL 512 or possibly a CRUCIAL 256 GB SSD. Read/write speeds are respectively of 500 MB/s and 260 MB/s, or 230 MB/sec and 190 MB/s (again, depending on the model). My question is noticed in the SUBJECT field. Can you please help me make a wise decision? I wish that more technical details as possible. Thanks... :-)

This laptop is equipped with SATA I, which is 150Gbit/s. You will not reach the maximum speed of your SSD, but it will be much faster then your current old school disc spinner. An SSD will always exceed a normal HARD drive. In addition, you should see a bump in battery life as well.

    I hope this helps!

  • the hard drive of my computer is purchased full.i a drive.how external hard change outside the primary disk so I can download music easily?

the hard drive of my computer is purchased full.i a drive.how external hard change outside the primary disk so I can download music easily.right now my external backup just my computer that isn't doing me good

    original title: external hard drives

You don't want to change your external drive to your main drive.

You can move your music files on the external drive - or you can move other data on the disk to make room for your music on the internal drive.

What applications do you use to play music?

As described in the first link below, you can move your full "My Documents" folder on the external drive.  Alternatively, you can simply move your music files.  If such an arrangement would give you a satisfactory performance, however, depends on how your external drive is connected (for example, USB 1.1, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, eSATA, Firewire, network) and other hardware features of your computer.

Not all of the following conditions will be applied to you, but some of the tips can be useful.

There are a number of things you can do to- temporarily - free up disk space.  The only real solution, however, is to get a bigger internal hard drive.   You can move the data to your external drive, but if it's the data that you use frequently, slower access times may annoy you.  Therefore, I do not recommend that you move your My Documents folder in its entirety on the external drive, but you can certainly do this by following the related instructions.

    • You can run Disk Cleanup (start > run > cleanmgr > OK)
    • You can reduce the size allocated for the restoration of the system to about 1 GB (right click on desktop > properties > system restore > settings)
    • You can disable hibernation (if you don't use it) (right click on an empty spot on the desktop > properties > screen saver > power > Hibernate)
    • You can disable the indexing of the drive, which will also speed up your computer a bit (http://lifehacker.com/031440/turn-off-indexing-and-speed-up-windows-xp)
    • You can reduce the size of your Internet browser cache (depending on the browser that you use)
    • You can remove most of the $NTUninstallKBxxxxxx files $ following the directions here: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Hotfix_backup.htm (read the warnings in the gray box first)
    • See also:

" How to recover disk space on Windows Server 2008 and Windows XP computers? ."

" Forty ways to free disk space ."

But none of these answers you will earn really large amounts of space for very long.  The term solution time is a bigger hard drive.

In the meantime, download and run JDiskReport, that will show you graphically what files take up more space and seem to so indicate what files you must move it to your external drive.  If you want to move an application, you will need to uninstall and then reinstall it specifying your external drive as the installation location.  You can not simply move the files.

  • If possible in DAQ 6009 bidirectional parallel data transfer?

want to APR DAQ6009 interface via bus 8-bit parallel, but I need to be bidirectional thus stuck at this point since m nt if possible data transfer bidirectional or not

    The 6009 has two-way DIO.

However, I don't think I would be wasting my time trying to implement a protocol of communication using EID on the 6009 - this is all software timed instead of timed material, which means that your rate will be very slow)< 10="" hz)="" and="" very="" nondeterministic,="" making="" communication="" protocols="" very="" difficult="" if="" not="">

  • PXI data transfer between OTN and FPGA

    Hello

I have a DAQ card in my PXI and a FPGA 7813R map.

The problem is that I send sample waaveforms of the data acquisition card to the FPGA card (which only has digital i/o) to launch my control on the FPGA. When I generate a sine wave of 50 Hz in the OTR to simulate a measured signal and send it to the FPGA through the controls in the Panel before (http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371599G-01/lvfpgaconcepts/pfi_data_transfer/) the signal happens on the fpga is much slower than 50 Hz indicating this folding is (it takes too much time to send the data). I tried to use this method of data transfer because my control requires only the more recent data, but it also has a phase lock loop that requires the data arriving at least resemble the original signal. Another criterion is that the control to data more up-to-date as possible. I know there is another option of the use of DMA FIFO, but I use it because I thought it would take more time to send the data, because each value must be sent.

    My questions are:

I go about it the correct way? I know that there is the FPGA cards with analog inputs. I buy one it is because I have a large amount of differential analog inputs (20 +)

Is there a quick way to transfer data to the FPGA. (I have converted all the FXP data before writing to the FPGA)

    Hi Jagwa,

You should not have to synchronize the RTOS loop that written information and the FPGA VI which is read.  Instead, you can simply use a FIFO.  In RT, you can write all the data points for the FIFO, and then you can extract them one at a time on the FPGA VI and use them as needed to control functions.  In this way, the only time you need to worry about stopwatch the FPGA VI to get out the data to mimic 50 Hz.

  • Data transfer Assistant - doesn't recognize palm desktop

I have a Palm Tungsten e I installed Palm Desktop v6.2 so I could transfer my data on my new Pre phone.  My Pre phone is plugged into the USB port on my computer and I selected the USB key on the phone. I then started the data transfer Assistant, has chosen to run, chose following the Welcome screen, chose following to the login window since I already have my phone connected pre, says next message window ' although Palm Desktop is installed, there is no data to transfer.

This is incorrect. my Palm Desktop contains data.  Why the data transfer Assistant say that?  The only option is left.  How do I get past this so I can transfer my data?

I did setup a Google mail account and put that on my phone but it seems not to matter.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I found the solution to my problem with the DTA does not transfer my data from Palm to my Pre phone.  Here are the steps I took:

    (1) backed up the data of palm on my external hard drive

    (2) uninstalling palm desktop and palm versalmail by using Add/Remove programs

    (3) record deleted program files/palm

    (4) pc reloaded

    (5) installed Palm Desktop V6.2

    (6) synchronize Tungsten E PDA to pc

    (7) made 3 new Palm Desktop: 1 user profiles for the calendar, 1 book, 1 for memos address (got this tip from another validation)

    (8) exported calendar data in the profile calendar, address to the address profile data and data Memo memo profile

    (8) DTA started

    (9) selected a profile suitable to transfer to pre - done 3 times.  Wanted to make sure that each type of data transferred correctly and it also gave me the opportunity to choose where I wanted to save the data

    (10) SUCCESS!

Hope this helps someone else out there.

Replace your hard drive by a faster, for example with an SSD.

But in my opinion, you should ignore completely all windows
Results of the experiment. They are just numbers; they are very
mislead and I wish that Microsoft has never included in
Windows. You must judge for yourself what your performance is,
and take steps to improve performance (purchase of quality components)
only if you find that your performance is unacceptable.

  • Data transfer USB Time Out with large or multiple files at once

I have a ton of problems with the USB data transfer.  I'm unable to transfer large files or many files at a time.  The external hard drive or flash drive will expire and eventually the pc will 'lose' and will not be able to locate the files I'm trying to transfer.  In addition, I'm not able to sync my new iPad, and I guess that it is caused by the same problem.  The strange thing is, I'm able to use my printer via USB with no problems.

I found some info on this problem (at least I assume it's the same thing) here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprohardware/thread/3aae3b66-6a1a-47e8-ad1b-b20b68eaecf8#79ea3219-d76e-40bc-b910-c7d347002e66 and here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976972.  When I first discovered on the windows fix, I downloaded and tried to install, but it says that I have already installed.  Clearly, he has not worked for me because I'm still having this problem.  In fact, I started to have this problem with Windows Vista x 64 and have since upgraded to Windows 7.

    Hello

Could be a power issue or even the hardware USB itself, although you would on two motherboards
think it would be extremely rare. The system has other problems, where the power could
    be a problem?

Try disabling the USB in the BIOS and use a USB card that is not expensive.

  • transfer rate what is data from disk

When I check my note to my computer, I notice that disk data transfer rate is the smallest number. Could someone tell me what this means and how I improve it. Thank you

    Hi June,

Without making too detailed, its basically the speed at which your hard drive ("disc") reads and writes ("transfer") data bits ("rate") between different parts of the hard drive and the central memory.

Short of a change of equipment, that is, change or replace the classic hard drive (HDD) by a unit of the solid state (SSD), nothing much you can do. Its totally a hardware related issue, and there is nothing software can do the actual transfer rate; It's a built-in to every reader of all limit which the (physical) hard drive controller is capable of doing.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards
