• Awakening Q10 Q10 blackBerry problem

  I recently spent Baclberry "BOLD" to Q10, and I have quite a strange thing. Handset screen becomes sleep after 30 seconds, and when I try to access the device again, I have to push the power button on the top to wake up the unit and I need to lock the screen so I have to drag up to unlock the device. An alternative workaround is by pressing one of the following keys for the United Nations; lock screen (w, r, e, s, d, f, v).

  Is this a bug or a feature custom made? Why it wouldn't take me to unlock the screen by dragging a time? yesterday I was chatting on BBM and every time (when the unit has been idle for 30 seconds or more) I had to press the power button, and then drag until you get to the application and it drove me crazy. I do not want to increase the screen timeout interval, it would consume more battery unnecessarily.

  Tried to get a response from Motorola or not, there will be an update to activate the Notification light which IS available on the bike 2015 G 3rd generation.

  Its kinda sad, but I have to live with it. The OEM has provided only a white LED for all notifications.

  Do not get carried away by the color options provided by various application developers.

  Your device is equipped with a white bulb that won't change its color. Software alone does not work, it must be hardware compatible too.

  Maybe Motorola may consider this feedback & try to integrate change into their new models.

  I noticed that, after the recent 4.4.4. Update, my notification light is not bright when I get a text or VM. I have my active screen power off and volume down to vibrate.

  I didn't know that Ultra and Maxx had even a notification light when the phone is turned on. I know that there one for when the phone is turned off and is used for notifications from the battery, but not for texts. Are you sure you have seen a notification on the phone light? I have never seen one on my Maxx. I hope this helps.

  Just got a Q10 and upgraded to the latest version of OS.

  Went to change the ringtone and instructions followed up to the bit where it says "press tone". There is however no text tone to tap.

  Does anyone have an idea where she could have gone to? I'm stumped...

  I downloaded my contacts to sim card and yahoo connected to facebook. I disabled the contacts on Facebook. My problem is: how is half of my contacts to my Contact list does NOT appear on my list of phone call?

  With respect to Notifications: I put on phone calls - so phone calls with the sound, I put all my msgs (text, email, bbm) on the silence with LED lights up, but LED does not function in this mode!

• Q10 blackBerry calendar notifications

  How can I get rid of notifications coming out on my calendar that I didn't put there? For example, I have two appearing for tomorrow (July 12) and two Monday (July 15). These four are all the same thing, 'Battle of the Boyne', a reason any repeated on each of these days. These are not the only notifications that appear on the calendar, but there seems to be no way to permanently remove or delete these. When I do, they reappear a few seconds later. And these kinds of notifications are always duplicated... (why?!)

  No worries, I found on the BB option that erases, Phew! On the calendar, drag from the top down to reveal four options: Help; Discount; Manage; and settings. Under management, I unchecked the box beside holidays UK (read-only) and this has now cleared the notifications that had been there.

  Hi, I have a problem with my BB Q10. When someone calls me and the phone is locked, not sound, simply create a beep and then just shows me who is calling me. And if is not locked (if I'm working on it, or send SMS playind or anything else on this subject) is normal ringer. Please help me, all notifications is turned on, the sound is on... Its irritating because I missed so many calls when I'm on my phone...

  If you do a reboot of your machine and then test an incoming call while the device is locked, it works correctly?

  Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.
