  I put t know if the update of your display driver can solve this problem, but if the manufacture of the software said that it s worth a try! ;)

  The update is simple enough: first download the latest version here:
  http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

  If you have downloaded the latest version, remove the old first. Check the list of software in the control panel and follow the instructions on the screen. I guess you have to do a reboot and after that, you can install the downloaded version.

• Why don't 'ever find updates' fail?

  Maybe it's just a short-term problem. However, I installed 29, was horrified that I can't have my precious status bar and returned to 28 (for Win7Ult system restore & install 28 of 29 in XP). The first thing I did after had to check help - about to check I'm really short 28 and then I went to tools-options-advanced-update and selected "never check for updates". Ten minutes later up pops the 'new security update available...   I'm not up-to-date on never check for updates option does not why, but you're not alone.

  You can set these prefs in about:config to turn off the automatic update:

  Got a new 55-H50 (AMD) and G50-45 today and updated everything, including the LSC. Desktop or portable LSC say to go to the Lenovo website for updates to the firmware/BIOS, and they both require BIOS at least. I can not really work if nothing else needs to be updated or not.

  I'm afraid that you are locked into the GPU problem, described by butz in post #13 here:

  You can try to switch between GPU and CPU by pressing Ctrl / Cmd + E, or you try disabling GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU. You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.

  I have a Pro Surface. I've been running the beta version of kkkkk for awhile. Worked pretty well until yesterday. After that Windows Update has installed an updated graphics driver (Intel HD Graphics 4000), kkkkk crashes every time I try to run it. When I uninstalled kkkkk and tried to reinstall it, it wouldn't install. He gave me the message that my graphics driver was not recognized. I can try to roll back the driver or the generic Intel driver installation. Any other suggestions?
