  My DVD burner was unable to get out and must be replaced. It is a UJ - 831S. I bought the same one, but I got an error of CD-ROM at the beginning upward. I tried this new CD-ROM on another laptop (Toshiba Satellite 2800-300) and it worked fine. I think I have a problem with the configuration of my DVD burner (c - select, master...). Do you know if can change the firmware of my DVD writer?

  Yes, the problem here is the ID of engraver of DVD (CSEL) UJ - 831S. You must have the carpet * a DVD burner connected to the secondary IDE Atapi port as a master flash.
  Probably your G10 is recognizing as an oucederomsurlesecondport IDE IDE slave secondary.
  Unfortunately there is no firmware to change the internal Atapi drive ID.
  You can ask Toshiba for the firmware, but I think that they will not give him to you.

  I have a Qosmio G10 and WinDVD creator 2, such that comes with the machine. I am trying to copy some old VHS tapes on my HDD using WinDVD creator and the composite entry next to the socket (connected on VHS by the SCART and supplied adapter)

  WinDVDc is not see anything at all to record from, and even less the composite input (which works fine when I press the "input select" button right next to the adjustment of brightness on the machine screw). I cannot therefore see or record through my TV signal analog, which is near the top and works very well in MC. I can record using MC but trust the dvr - ms format it uses is not editable and is much too inflated.

  I also tried to use nerovision for the same purpose, but I get an error message saying "capture device is already in use...". ».

  Sorry if it's a question of intervideo, but Tosh forums seem more useful.

  Watch download drivers (the valid section for your model and OS) for a registry patch. Take a look also at the info for it. I think this should solve your problem. This means that you will get the Composite as a data source in WinDVD Creator valid entry.

  the LCD for my Qosmio F55-Q502 cracked and I ordered the same room and when I installed it, everything works fine and everything but the brightness up and down are reversed. As Fn + F6 makes more brilliant while Fn + F7 makes it more dark? The first that comes with it is a lp154wp1 (tl) (e1) but I had is a lp154wp1 (tl) d1).

  I suggest that you enable the acceleration of the display on the computer and check if the game works.

  (a) open settings display by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, appearance and personalization, customization, and then clicking display settings.

  (b) click on display settings, and then click Advanced settings.

  (c) click the Troubleshooting tab, and then click change settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  (d) move Hardware Acceleration complete.

  Method 2

  If the previous step fails, then you will need to download and install the drivers for the graphics cards updates by visiting the card manufacturer's Web site and check if it helps.
