Qosmio G10 graphics and sound driver installation

Hello

Recently, I tried to reinstall my Toshiba Qosmio G10 after you download all the latest drivers from the Toshiba site.

Unfortunately I had my motherboard and the screen replaced in the last 3 years (under warranty), which means everything has changed since the original laptop, I bought (now a map graphic, NVIDIA GeForce go 6600, new chip set, etc., as far as I can remember).

Someone at - it a system restore cd or a place I can download the appropriate drivers for this laptop.

I am a sys admin and technical and spent about 5 hours, pulling on my hair, trying to get the drivers video and sound work.

Hello!

It is pretty easy to get drivers for a laptop of Toshiba.
Looking on the Web from Toshiba site?

http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers
Search for Qosmio G10, then you will find it.

Good bye

  • Graphics and sound early are nervous on HP Pavilion

Hey, first time posting here and hoping someone can help me with the questions I've had with my laptop. Here is the Basic for my laptop specifications:

    HP Pavilion dv6-3150us

    Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit Edition *.

    Intel Core i5 CPU 2.53 GHz M 460

4 GB of RAM installed (2.43 GB usable)

    Intel HD Graphics

Video memory up to 1696 MB

TOSHIBA 500 GB hard drive *.

Dolby Advanced Audio with Altec Lansing speakers

At rest approximately 800 MB RAM usage

    * changed after the drive started failing, in other words not original hardware/software

So I got my laptop nearly 3 years ago, things were pretty amazing with my laptop and it is honestly the best (and first and only) laptop that I'm away until now. In any case, after 1 year and 2 months, or so 650 GB hard originally started failing. Coincidentially the year 1 mandate had expired, so obviously the call center of HP did not help me at all. Ultimately I had to get a replacement from the hard drive and get my school technician to do the job of its installation and recovery of my information to recurring. Of course, by doing so the original laptop Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit OS drivers and all were lost in the old hard drive, so it has installed its own version of 32-bit in my laptop and did the best he could to download and recover drivers and functions of the laptop. Ultimately all this turned out pretty well with the exception that the wireless is not connect more (in any case it is not the real problem, I am here to ask questions on)

Lately I had problems related mainly to the audio and sound. Everytime I play a video (either from a DVD, hard disk or streaming online) the video begins to become unstable and slower with the time that the video is almost completely stopped. This change in the video also affects the speed at which the laptop running, making it's slower and sometimes I have to either close the video program I use to avoid phone freeze completely.

A similar thing happens whenever I'm playing games. The graphics in the game are slowed down gradually, and the sound is also affected by the whole process, makes them nervous and slower. This product even when I put the games in lower graphics levels there are (by the way, the games in question are GTA San Andreas, the Sims 3 and DC Universe Online) the problem got worse with time and appeared older 3 months back or almost. Also, it happens randomly. Moreover, indeed like laptop computers HP the more out there, mine has always had problems with ventilation and dust in the fans so it is usually very hot and I would not be surprised if it was any problem where the roots of.

So far I have removed the unnecessary startup with the Task Manager process, scanned the laptop together with AVAST and Malwarebytes, removed programs that are unnecessary, / that I don't use, files cleaned and defraged the drive hard, has ran memory diagnostics, updated audio and video players, updated the BIOS and the problem still remains.

My best guess would be that the sound cards and video begin to fail or, even worse, that the motherboard is the one to blame (or simply conflict pilot/codec), but I have tried so many different things and visited so many different forums that I don't really know what it is. I hope someone can help me with determine what is wrong and the steps to resolve this.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your advice and sorry for the late reply. I tried your suggestion of analysis system for missing/conflicting drivers with the HP Wizard, but there was no change, that this is reading once I uninstalled and reinstalled video driver (which would have been the main reason for my question)

In fact, I just got the HP Support help in Twitter, and in the end it turns out that my problem with unstable video is not software related, but it might be in fact that my laptop motherboard reached its peak (due to overheating and eternal ventilation). Thank you nevertheless for the help and advice to get the recovery disc for my computer (should have that before, but now at the end)

    Thank you very much!

  • Satellite P100-238: stuttering graphics and sound with the game

    Hello

A few days ago, I bought a P100-238 both for business and holiday makers with leisure activities include mainly games, I thought this would be a great opportunity to take the next level and buy something powerful with Vista on board... IM starting to think ive made a big mistake. First impressions of the laptop were great (and vista although it is a little welfare State is very good).

The problems started when I installed a few games (Please take into account, it is a system of 4 GB with 2 gig of ram and a Geforce 7900 gs graphics card, it should theoretically be ideal). The first few games I tried was wonderful... If you stopped, but as soon as you moved (in the game) about every 3 seconds the games would stutter to stop, then start again... every 3 seconds. Okay, I need the drivers, so I jumped on nvidia and tried installing different drivers to see none to work with laptops. In fact whenever I tried to install I got the message that or the other driver is up-to-date or that I'm «not equipped for vista» Anyway to cut a long story short, I discovered www.laptopvideo2go.com when I discovered that Nvidia does not support drivers for laptops (even once cut a long and painful story short) so I used it recommended modded INF files as well as various pilots until the later. Unfortunately I still had the same problem, someone recommended it can become again the sound driver so I tried that no different.

After further investigation on various forums, it seems im not the only person who knows these probems. On these boards, I noticed that someone had the sound and graphics too jerky and sent it for repair to have the CPU, motherboard, ram etc replaced until they found the error on the HARD drive and once replacement he was fine.

Using this info and finally think I had put inside of it I took my laptop to the store and he was replacing, ultimately reinstalling everything and lift a game and running... guess what... still the same.
    This is totally unacceptable.
How do you market a product as games and entertainment laptop when she's obviously serious faults preventing these activities.

Anyone here have the solution? Also, I should mention that this problem persists when the resolution and graphic details fell to a minimum in the game.

    Thank you
    Darren

It's not a hardware problem or a laptop, but Windows Vista!
Check out the other discussions in forum games on Vista performance with games!
Some people have installed XP and it s running like in a dream!

It seems that we have to wait for a first Microsoft Vista SP1 or certain patches.
Maybe then the Vista will be more compatible with all these games on the market!

  • Qosmio F10 display and sound card drivers do not install

Hello, my hard drive went, and the replacement, we used the toshiba recovery disc.

We have installed the Intel chip software, then the driver NVIDIA. It says its installed but makes no difference after you restart the computer. Audio driver begins to install and then says driver not found. We have downloaded the new drivers and get the same results.

The operating system is XP home. Any notice are apperciated.

    Hi sweet,

    > It says its installed but makes no difference after you restart the computer.
What difference do? After the driver installation, your computer will start in the same way as before so I know what a difference you expect after installing the driver.

As Akuma written normally after using the disk recovery, all the drivers and tools are pre-installed. You have yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?

    Hello Raja

Your ad is quite confusing, and it is not possible to offer a reasonable solution.
The fact is that this recovery image contains all the necessary drivers for all hardware components of your notebook. Because of this I do not understand what exactly happens after the first start.

So, if something like this happens, I can imagine some external devices are connected.
Do you use a recovery media for the first time? Have you noticed similar problems in the past?
Have you bought this laptop like new or used one?

Sorry for all these questions, but, as I wrote previously, the whole story is a bit confusing.

  • Noise maps after installation NIVIDA GeForce graphics and sound on HP compac 7700 computer

Computer HP 7700 Compac, Win 7, 32 bit, card NIVIDA GeForce 310, StarTech sound car. Noise loud high frequency on the rare occasions necessary turn off the computer.  Works OK for a while after switch on. Same thing happned with three other graphics cards.

    Hello:

    You need a sound card.

I assume that you have installed a video card with HDMI output (as most of them come with HDMI today).

After that, the PC turns off both the onboard audio and video on board because he thinks that you have installed a video card and a sound card because of the HDMI audio chip on the video card.

To activate the sound edge even once, you start in the BIOS, you go into the menu of the device on board and you will find an audio setting embedded (which did not exist before).

You will also see that the setting is disabled. You change the setting to enabled, save it by pressing the F10 key at this time here and again when you exit the BIOS (save settings and exit).

Restarts, the integrated audio system is restored, and you will have audio HDMI if you plug an HDMI cable to the HDMI port to a TV output.

This happens on the dc7800 model too but, curiously, he did not on my dc7600.

If so, I guess that you know very well how to use given the update tool CD. It is very important to use it on the right track. I'll try to explain how it should be done:

    1. as a first step, you must use the supplied restore CD
    2. at the end of the recovery procedure, you will see message
Please, remove the recovery media and press [CTRL] + [ALT] + [delete] to restart

    8. this process can take about 5 minutes and the computer will reboot to complete.

    Hello

I recently bought toshiba Satellite C660 laptop M21G with windows 7 32 bit installed (not not licensed) and I installed all the hardware drivers except the SM Bus controller and driver of Nvidia GeForce graphics card, this because it will not terminate on the web site of toshiba, or other medium there but when I try to install the Chipset utility or the display driver (driver VGA) an error message appears in the two installation indicates that I have not matched the software requirments of minimum requirements for the installation of the display adapter and chipset.

I don't know why these requirments does not include in the error message?

    Hello

You n don't need to buy an original Toshiba HDD each different manufacturing HDD will work if it will be compatible with the standard of substantive law.
I guess that the G10 is capable of managing the 100 GB maybe 120 GB hard drives.
The laptop supports an EIDE interface and therefore, you should use HDD s supporting the IDE (ATA-5) increased.

  • PowerEdge t110 ii question: map graphic and HARD drive

    Hello

I recently bought a t110 ii with the Xeon E3-1230v2. I bought it for self-study and use as a work/homelab station server. (I got for a price lower than any offer of work/Office equaluivalent position).

I searched on google for answers and couldn't find the messages dating back to 2012-2013.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with compatible graphics cards that were released this year or last year.

I understand that the PCIe connector can support up to 8 x power 25w (as read on other discussions).
Is there a graphics cards of current generation that I could use.

I'm not planning to use this for the games, the main use will be for virtualization and use it as a workstation from time to time.

Then regarding politics HDD/RAM and the Dell warranty,.

I was using my own disk sata hard and the possible upgrading ram later down the line. Open the chassis for upgrades or install third-party components will void warranty of the machine even if these elements were the reason for the failure.

I would have purchased from Dell, but unfortunately cannot me like my student budget.

    SR2002,

As Dell does not recommend 3 party graphics cards, the T110II supports it. Given that we do not recommend the use of them, we are actively testing the different manufacturers. Now, I met a former postwhere, they say, they used a NVIDIA GeForce G210 512 MB DDR2 PCI Express video card in the T110 II and it worked.

To answer your next question, add and upgrade parts to the server will NOT void your warranty, but added devices that has been obtained through Dell will not be covered by the warranty.

Let me know if this helps answer your questions.

  • Switchable Graphics and ATI Graphics Driver disappear (BIOS update)

Then the other day, that HP has insisted on the behaviour of one of its annoying BIOS updates on my Pavilion dv7.

Before the update, I was able switchable graphics and could pass the ATI Mobility Radeon 4250 something the 5650 (I'm sure I have these numbers). in any case, now, a few days after the update (which I believe I installed on 19 January), I noticed that my switchable graphics options have disappeared, as well as my option driver ATI Mobility Radeon 5650... large. So now games graphics look significantly bad and slow because I can't spend to the best driver. Thanks, HP.

So, the question is how to get back my switchable graphics and other driver? I was looking around and found some - related posts that can be useful for people who seek to answer this question, but aren't really help me:

If you answer this, please try to keep it in easy English and avoid a lot of abbreviations, I won't understand. Just consider me like a fool when it comes to installing and uninstalling the drivers and try to make simple instructions. Thank you very much!

Hey man, idk if you are still working on it, but I have the solution.  Basically, HP has two updates for each laptop model; one for laptops with integrated graphics card only and another for laptops with switchable graphics.  Unfortunately, the driver for laptop with integrated graphics card only has been the default driver in this update.  Instead of trying to reinstall the older driver, just install the new correct driver.  To do this, follow these steps:

    1. go on http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

    2. the website can automatically detect what dv7 you have.  Just click on the button "start detection".  It will ask you to download something, but its ok.  Do it.  Then just click on 'continue' and let it detect your system.

    3. There should be a screen that has 'Detected list of products' on him.  Under where it is said that your model is, there must be a link that says "software and driver downloads".  Until it clicks.

    4. in the next screen, you will need to choose your operating system.  Select it and click "next".

    5. a list appears with all the drivers for different systems.  Expand the category that says 'pilot -"graphic  There will be several drivers (one being that shitty laptop with integrated graphics card only and another for great laptops with switchable graphics).  Read the descriptions of each and it is made for laptops with switchable graphics.  Download the right one.

Once download you, you will need to restart your laptop.  When it starts up, it will be like new.
