  I just bought P200 - 1 K 9 and spotted (Vista 32-bit) Device Manager shows two different processors under the section of processors:

  Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7300 @ 2.00GHz
  Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 @ 2.40 GHz CPU

  I expected to see the two excatly the same processors here.

  Vista recognizes in general CPU core 2 duo 2.4 GHz, BIOS too.
  What is on the Device Manager?

  Is there something wrong with the CPU? Should I return it better?
  Would you please check your processor in Device Manager (start-> right click on computer-> select Properties-> Device Manager) and let me know what you have?

  Hi mate,

  the you´ve got problem is not a problem. It s just a simple bug in the Vista Device Manager and hardware abstraction layer.
  Follow these steps:
  Remove the CPU from the Device Manager (uninstall just like any other device) and then restart windows. The processor will be indicated correctly next time you reboot the system.

  I have a problem my Guest OS Windows 7 x 64 sp1 show only a 2-processor motherboard intel DP67BG.

  Guest OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1

  Another method:

  Open the original image and the Image > resize > canvas size.

  Set the width to accommodate the two images.

  Click on the anchor to extend the canvas to the right.

  

  Open the 2nd picture.

  Select > all.

  Edition > copy.

  Return to the original (with extended canvas) and edit > paste.

  This puts the 2nd testament picture on a new layer that you can then resize/re-position if necessary.

  You must realize that the hexadecimal notation is meaningless without reference to a specific color space.

  Hex is not different from RGB - the same number will produce a different color in different color spaces. And conversely, the same color will be different hexadecimal numbers in different color spaces.

  Hex was invented before the modern color management and the concept of the color spaces.   I recently imported photos from my iphone to my Mac using photos for OSX app. But after graduating successfully imported it shows me two different elements i.e. photo itself & a short video. So for my 300 live photos it's show me 300 photos and 300 videos.

  So why it shows two different files, I suppose, that it should show only direct photo because it shows on my iPhone.

  I also tried to repair the library command to open the photos app, but it did not work. Help, please!

  Your processor is not capable of hardware virtualization, but usually if the machine can make virtualization but for the processor, this option will just be grayed out. But the configuration manual says there is an option in the Setup (BIOS) to turn virtualization (some models only).

  I'll go out on a limb and say that if you put a processor with virtualization, the option will appear in the BIOS. Manual maintenance, the motherboards all seem to be able to take one of the compatible processors so everything should be able to VT if the processor is capable.

  As my screen name, incurably curious, says I couldn't let it go. Assistance in the meantime, I searched tirelessly and found a cure. I had to make a change through msconfig. I don't have any idea how the settings have been changed because no one else is using this machine.  [????] (Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes returns own scans; so I doubt that the cause is associated malware.) The following explains what I've done and the results.

  1. I went into msconfig > startup > advanced options and find the number of processors, set one. The arrow to expand a menu drop-down has also shown that a single processor. Which did not make sense because my processor Intel Core i3 2330 M's two core with hyperthreading.
  2. I unchecked the box and restart the computer.
  3. I returned the number of processors as described in #1 above. Expand the menu gave me the choice of 1, 2, 3 or 4 processors. I chose two and checked the box.
  4. I rebooted the computer again.
  5. I checked the monitor of resources (via the Task Manager) and found multiple graphics, I'm used to the display. The graphics are labeled: Service use of the CPU, CPU 0, 1 parked CPU 2 CPU and CPU3 parked.
  6. Parked CPU1 and CPU3 parked show no activity, which is expected. These show only activity when hyperthreading is active, which is rare with the programs I run. Only programs written specifically to hyperthreading use the feature.
  7. CPU utilization service CPU2 and CPU0 show activity as expected.
  8. Manager tasks shows four graphs still now.

  The reason why I know not what to expect is that I have upgraded RAM and completed cooling there are a few months and one of my tools use resource monitor to control the computer. (I used other means to monitor the internal temperature). I managed to run enough programs to use more than 7 GB, the 8 GB available RAM and CPU usage Dungeon in the range of 75 to 100% for more than an hour during trials. Hyperthreading (CPU1 and CPU3) clearly indicated to be active too. Time CPU ran in the range 165F without additional cooling and order of 125-130 with additional cooling.

  I will wait for return of the answers with explanations and/or questions until I got this mark as resolved.

• Guest systems show fiber 10g as twisted pair adapters

  I installed esxi 5.1 on a intel mother 5500bc assembled with a card dual port intel 10 g fiber lan.

  Went it smooth on the side of vmware, I see in vmware ethtool shows the adapter as fibers.

  But the guest system shows the virtual card as twisted pair.

  Why is this and how to fix this.

  Do you use a vNIC vmxnet3 on the VM? It is quite normal that the hardware, the bishoprics of comments is completely abstract of some physical has your host and the generic virtual device is not related to the physical network adapters. You might have a physical BNC 10Mbit connection or a wireless network adapter, also, and the guest would see still and always a 10 GbE virtual NIC Ethernet. So don't worry about this, it's perfectly fine.

  The only way you'd be able to really pass the physical properties of a device into a virtual computer would be by vmdirectpath passthru, which presents the physical unit of PCI (e) directly to the guest, but this is something very unusual who generally makes no sense in 99% of the environments.
