As I drove deep into the logs, I noticed that the riwTDBup.sh of ended not because it could not open the database. I noticed that riwTDBup.sh called sets in environment in $INST_HOME/ora/10.1.2/ and then tries to start a receiver located at $INST_HOME/ora/10.1.2/network/admin - this is where I see that no listener has been created. A tnsnames.ora is there but no listener. So I went to $ADMIN_SCRIPTS and I try to manually start the receiver and although his place as well and it is said that there is no listener for APPS_VIS. How is it, my interlocutor is not be created and can someone tell me what am I did not right, why it is constantly at the end of the installation.   I'm mad at myself. After having sitting just think and get back to the basics... Why my application server cannot connect to my database, especially after the fact that I did this install successfully before? After decision on the fact that both servers could talk to each other, a light bulb off, I knew it was something blocking the connection and then I thought about it. LOL, that was the firewalls. I deleted the application server and restart installation with two disabled firewalls and it worked even fix the error of libgcc_s.so, installing crossed without errors at all, everything was fine with my host and domain name. LOL, I can finally say that I can install Oracle EBS R12.1 without errors.

  Even if it took my whole weekend, I wouldn't change a thing. I learned so much troubleshooting idea, funny how you can look in hindsight and appreciate the growing pains. Thanks Hussein for all the help! Next upgrade of database and applications, then learn how to install Rac and how to install EBS on rac and Oracle EBS on PAP management, if you have any suggestions on where to go to learn these things it would be awesome!

I put the wireless "connect automatically" in "Manage wireless networks", but for some reason it will not stay set to auto. (it is a sudden and new problem).   I use Win7 Ultimate, and try to establish a VPN connection to a job server.  I have a XP Pro system which connects OK but cannot get W7 to.  I have install the VPN as close to the installation of XP as I can but it works always... it refers to what a "check username and password" then there are there for about 3/4 minutes, returning an error message 806.  The modem/gateway has defined passthrough VPN and port 1723 in the firewall (don't forget XP connects OK) so I guess that the basis of the network is configured OK (?).

  I need help on what to do... I am new to W7 so am struggling a bit finding my way around.

  With iOS 9, I used to process the photos on my iPhone by capturing images running on Mac OS x 10.6. Since I've upgraded to iOS 10, it doesn't work anymore: when I connect my iPhone to the Mac via the USB cable, iPhone asks me if I should trust the computer (which I confirmed), but then Capture of Image tells me that I have to enter the password on the iPhone, because it is locked.   First thing I would try is to restart everything. Unplug the printer and let that he unplugged for a minute. Then unplug the router for a few seconds then plug it back. Wait for your router to get booted back completely (when your internet connection works again), then plug the printer back in. Check the printer settings to make sure that its still connected to your wireless network. Sometimes, a good old fashioned reboot will help like that connectivity issues. In addition, depending on which printer you have, it can help to "check for updates". You can go to 'setup' > 'Web Services' > 'Product updates' > 'Check updates' and let it install the updates.
