Question of magnification on the sequence Viewer

HELLO community,

A question about Premiere Pro, (CS6 if it matters): when you view a 1080 p resolution in the display of source code, I have no problem see the full game 100% and adjustment of image for 'Zoom' and 'Resolution Viewer.  However, to make an edit decision, and showing the source code in the sequence Viewer, I am unable to see the whole picture, no matter what I put 'Zoom' and 'Resolution Viewer.  Strangely, I have an edit decision adjacent to that other decision edition and from the same source, and I CAN see the full image in the Viewer for this decision to change.

Why the viewer would treat a different decision on the other edit in the sequence Viewer and from the same source file is a mystery!  Can anyone advise what I could look at to try to get the second parameters change the display of the decision in its entirety, as the other change the decision?  Yet once, I tried to solve this problem with the 'Zoom' and "Résolution Viewer" parameters, but without success.

Thank you

Mtbakerstu

Found!  "Adapt to the size of the image" when clicking on change decision in sequence.

And now back to your regular schedule of emissions...

  • kind of basic question on navigation of the sequence

then I got a new job and worked with Avid Newscutter there. not much fan of passionate, but there is a feature that has been sloppy. When you hold down the control and right mouse and browse your sequence, difficult playhead stops at each edit point. is it possible to imitate this behavior in first? I know that I can just press up and down to scroll edit them points, but sometimes it is not practical, according to what I do.  Thank you.

Up and down is the only way I know how.

  • Filenames on the sequence.

After the last update of first CC of new problem has occurred. Name change clip while bringing the sequence Viewer window multicam clip.

In borwser, I recorded footage (scene_shot_take). After having introduced a section of a file multicam to chronology that only the actual name of the raw file is displayed (not the name of connected). It takes a long time to change later takes while I don't see who is that I've used on the sequence.

The trick is to rename the clips in the project Panel before creating the Multicam sequence. In other words, reverse step 1 and step 2.

The result you get is exactly the same thing it would be if you had a clip in the project Panel, named 0080.mov, renamed and added to a sequence in the timeline Panel then the element of 0800.mov in 23_1_4.

This is the designed behavior: changes in the name of a project item wave not to instances that already exist in a sequence, to the instances added after the change of the name.

  • is it safe to use a view control of sequence to display the sequence file both for execution

I have a Teststand UI written in Labview 2012.  It has a single control of sequence, and I use the ConnectSequenceView method to switch between the display just the loading sequence file and the running.  Allow me to reiterate.  When a file sequence is running, the control is connected to the execution Manager.  Otherwise, it is connected to sequenceFileView Manager.

I begin to suspect that I have questions related to this control, when I do the following.

    1. load a movie file

    2 run Single Pass

    3. the execution ends

    4. unloading and Release sequence file

5 load a different sequence file

    6. run single-pass

    7 Labview crashes

    Am I missing a step?

    Thank you

    Kevin

So it seems the crash of Labview, I mentioned in the original post is unrelated to the joint use of display of the sequence control.  However during my troubleshooting, I noticed that I was missing cut from a point of view of control stage before connecting the other view.

And for the record, I think that there are many things wrong with the architecture used in the complete example, but there also many too many features for what to.  Just need a simple "press a button" and "run a test" for operators.  Everyone uses the sequence editor.

All right.  Thanks for the comments.

  • How to let axSequenceView view the sequence file, after the opening before the race.

How to let axSequenceView view the sequence file, after the opening before the race.

I would do it differently, you do not see when running because your sequence control is connected to the requeteexecution Manager. I have two controls of the same size that sits on top of the other, one connected to requeteexecution as it is by default and the other to SequenceFileView Manager.

You can then use reminders to start execution and execution of end events in the user interface to make the control visible. It is very easy to achieve.

    Parameters of scanning has been:

    • System
    • Errors
    • 1-20 errors, valued at twenty.

What are these errors and they are nothing to worry about?

I have Nero 8 on this system and have an updated hosts file the running here: http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm

Not sure, but I may have changed a network setting to activate the new hosts file work properly.

Seen these errors for a while. system works well and smoothly.  No symptoms of malware or infection seen or found.  I would call these software errors as they seem does not affect the operation of the system.

    XP Home Edition SP3 P4 2.8 2 GB RAM

    Oh yes :)

I have never used the program VEW and don't think I will check it - I just look at the Event Viewer logs the old-fashioned way (manually) if I think that there is a problem, but that might just be the old me.

It is true that XP Home doesn't have Group Policy Editor, but all policy settings are always available via the registry.

Some malware will change your GP settings and cause problems.

I have a little import registry will correct all the ones I know, so if someone has these symptoms, any flavor of XP, they are running, I'll just send the script because sometimes you will be not able to solve the problem, even if you have not the GP Editor.

The registry always import work - and work well for XP Home or XP Pro.  If you have the symptoms and XP Home, what would you?   Start the import operation of the registry.

If you're curious, off on my SkyDrive it is a spreadsheet Excel (Group Policy settings) who has all the parameters of GP and where they are in the registry.  I do not recommend start searching, but it is useful to know where things are if there is a problem.

I would not allow the connection of a security XP stuff unless you think you're being attacked.  More and verbose logging slows things down.  My Event Viewer Security log is empty.

Find the links to the Microsoft Support Engineer for the most part useless to actually solve a problem (because it help you with your problem), if someone has a question or point of Event Viewer, I usually just send them this:

To view the logs in Event Viewer, click Start, settings, Control Panel, administrative tools, event viewer.

A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:

    %SystemRoot%\system32\eventvwr.msc

Click OK to launch the event viewer.

The most interesting newspapers are usually the system and Application logs.

Some newspapers such as security and Internet Explorer may be completely empty or have just a few items.  The default settings for XP wants do not connect all this activity, unless you need to solve a problem in these areas.  If you enable logging for them the papers fill up quickly and could adversely affect the performance of your system with all the extras (often unnecessary) activity.

If you have Microsoft Office installed, it has its own newspapers, and they can be empty or occasional boring activity very little or, if there is no problem with your desktop applications.  It's normal.

Not every event is a problem, some are informational messages that things work very well, and some are warnings.

However, no event should defy reasonable explanation.

Each event is sorted by Date and time.  Errors will be red Xs, warnings will have yellow! s.
Informational messages have white is.  Not every error or warning event means that there is a serious question.

Some are excusable at boot time when Windows starts.  Try to find only the events to the date and time around your problem.

If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information.  On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.

When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis.  Remove all personal information from your information after you paste If you are forced to do so.

If you paste an event, it will look something like this annoying system startup event:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Service Control Manager
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 7035
    Date: 14/07/2010
    Time: 17:54:18
    User: Jose
    Computer: computer

    Description:
The Remote Access Connection Manager service was sent successfully a starting control.

To get a fresh start on any log of the event viewer, you can choose to clear the log (the log backup is available), and then reproduce your problem, then just look at the events around your show and troubleshoot events that are happening when you have your question.

You can search for events on the World Wide Web and get ideas.  It's where people events they see and then to the top of their questions, ideas and solutions:

    http://www.EventID.NET/

If you find your event in the discussion, the first idea or discussion does not necessarily mean it is the "answer" to your situation, so read through all the ideas to find the one that sounds more like your situation.

  • Interface strange question - everything that we step back, evil framework presented in preview in the comp Viewer

    Hello

I'm trying to fix a problem with After Effects CS6 that has appeared recently. The Comp Viewer seems to be rendered behind which sits the playhead of a picture. For example if I use PageUp and PageDown move forward and backward between frames, the frame that appears is the previous frame to that indicator sits to the timeline. As soon as I hit the previous or following once again it shows the frame which would have disclosed last.

Also if I use the mouse wheel to zoom in/out of the comp Viewer, it also accused a step behind, i.e. to zoom, nothing happens... Zoom again, zoom to the 1 step... To zoom out, zoom IN another step... To zoom out, zoom 1 step.

Everything works perfectly until I recently updated to Quicktime, Nivida pilots and adjusted some parameters for another program (Cubase) to work with the video. After that, I was unable to get After Effects works again. The strange thing is that I now properly installed Windows 7 and tried running AE at different stages (print drivers and version of QT), then updated everything (including all Adobe, graphics drivers, Quicktime products) and I have exactly the same problem on all points. CS6 is currently the only program on the computer.

I tested this problem with. R3D (Red camera) files with H264 'normal '. MP4 files. I also tried to use the files from an external drive. Exactly the same problems in all cases.

    Data sheet:

    Windows 7 64 bit

    16 GB of RAM

    2 x Nvidia Quadro FX1700

Help would be greatly appreciated that I can't find anyone else encounter this problem.

    Thank you very much

    Ben

    SOLUTION:

I diagnosed the problem; It relates to the use of dual screen with two separate graphics cards. The problem can be tested for by race AE full-screen on one monitor, then the other. The question should be on one of the two screens. Once sent, I was able to run AE on each screen OR spanning the two without problem.

    TO SOLVE:

After effects CLOSED, open Nivida Panel and select 'manage 3D settings '. Choose "Open GL made GPU" in the list of options and select 1 of the 2' or 2 of 2' but not 'Auto '. Apply the changes and the re - open After Effects.

I very much hope that that someone saves some time!

  • How to view the settings for the sequence (info that is displayed when you open the first sequence)?

Hi, I would like to ask how to view the current settings of the sequence, I'm already working the same information that is displayed when you open for the first time a new sequence

    for example.

    General

    Editing mode: QuickTime DV PAL

    Time Base: 25.00fps

    Video settings

    Image size: 720: 576v (1.4587)

    Frame rate: 25.00 FPS

Format of the pixels: PAL D1/DV widescreen 16:9 (1.4587)

    Fields: Bottom field first

    Audio settings

    Sample rate: 48000 samples/second

    Default sequence

Total of the video tracks: 3

    Master the track type: stereo

    Audio tracks:

    Audio 1: Standard

    Audio 2: Standard

    Audio 3: Standard

I forgot what setting I chose for my current sequence and tried to look under project settings , as well as the sequence settings

but do not show the news that you see when you open a new sequence for the first time, especially if the edit mode is PAL or NTSC etc.

How can I find this information which my current sequence is on?

    Thank you

Sequence / sequence of setting you will find all the information.

If his pal, you're on 25 or 50 fps.

    the rest is ntsc.

    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
What could I do to fix the problem?

    Thanks in advance...

    Hello

    Signature of the procedure is

    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE DWARE.P_CSCV_AGR_MONTH_REVENUE
    (
    TBL_NAME VARCHAR2,
    START_DATE DATE,
    RESULT_ OUT NUMBER
    )

either he's expecting two input parameters, tbl_name in VARCHAR2 and the other START_DATE date format format. Also you need a variable with the number data type to store the value of the PARAMETER RESULT_

Now, look at the way you call this procedure

     BEGIN
    DWARE.P_CSCV_AGR_MONTH_REVENUE(CSCV_AGR_MONTH_REVENUE,'01/01/2010');
    END;
    /

first parameter must be a VARCHAR2, so place CSCV_AGR_MONTH_REVENUE in single quotes.
second parameter must be a date, so use to_date() function.
Finally declare a variable with the data type of number to maintain the value of the parameter RESULT_

    Something like this:

    declare
    t_num number;
    begin
    a('CSCV_AGR_MONTH_REVENUE',to_date('01/01/2010','MM/DD/YYYY'),t_num);
    dbms_output.put_line(t_num);
    end;

  • Question about mismanagement of the effects in the construction of sequence

    Hi all

I read the BPEL 2.0 document and met a question about management failures and the normal flow of control in the < sequence > construction.

For example, in the following code fragment:

    <>sequence
    < call...
    < catch faultName = gt; a.
    < / call >
    < receive... >
    < / sequence >

If fault one is taken and processed by error handler, when the fault handling ends at will are receive > activity start or jumped?

According to the document: < receive > will begin when < call > complements, but the 'complete' includes the 'ends in vain", (i.e. a fault is stuck inside the < call > and dealt with)?

Hope you can help me and thank you very much.

    Hello

You have reason, 'full' includes the 'ends in vain", (i.e. a fault is taken inside the and treated).

    Hope this answers your Q.

  • How can I "automate" a question of a single line and response? the answer starts with the right margin and ending on the right margin as it is typed. The sequence would be: 1 type question 2. Tab at the right margin. 3 type the answer ending on the margin

    5.6.1 MacBook early 2015 OS X 10.11.3 pages

Question: How can I easily format a series of "a line of questions / answers" (questions and answers on the same line.)

How to easily create a long series of a single line of questions and answers to the question aligning it on the left and the end of the response by aligning right?

    For example

!. Type the short question on the left margin.

    2. tab at the right margin.

    3. type the answer with the end of the answer on the right margin.

Insert a right tab at the right margin.

  • question on the materialized view unregistered on the main site

    Hello

you know how one knows, on the main site, on the existence of a materialized view another site referring to other tables to a primary site. It seems registration is not required.

the site main orcl1: I have a table, and a materialized view log defined on A table.
another site orcl2: have a link db orcl1 and rapid updatable view SCOTT materialized. A_MVW (create a materialized view A_MVW cool off quickly in select * from A@orcl1)

    on orcl1 I perform: exec DBMS_MVIEW. UNREGISTER_MVIEW (mviewowner = > 'SCOTT', mviewname = > mviewsite, 'A_MVW' = > 'ORCL2');
so the materialized view seems to be correctly set aside (because it no longer appears in: select * from DBA_REGISTERED_MVIEWS ;))
But, to my surprise, I can still perform refreshes fast on A_MVW, which also remove rows from the materialized view log. So how is site orcl1 always aware of the existence of the materialized view?

It seems that, registered or not to the main site, a materialized view has the same... or is not? where is it stored, on the main site, information about materialized views (especially those of quickly updatable) as local tables reffer?

    Thank you

  • Question on the sequence and how best to use

    Hi all

I'm used to Premiere Pro v6 and I recently moved to CS4.1.

Could you explain me how and why to use multiple sequences for a single project in first Pro CS4.1?  I understand that you can have different sizes on each, but I was wondering if there was a technique for using multiple sequences for a major project, for example a marriage where each scene could have a different sequence.  I'm on the right track.

If so, then how does a published overview of the images that spans several sequences?

Your help and advice would be appreciated.

    See you soon

All depends on your workflow but personally by major projects, I prefer to work on small pieces first. Your example of a marriage could easily be broken down into sequences as intro, preparation, ceremony, reception, party and background material. Then make a master sequence where combine you all the sequences in this main sequence. It also makes it easy to place chapter at the beginning of each sequence of smaller markers and it makes much easier the overview of the project. It also makes it easier to maintain a semblance of organization in the bins of project.

When I did a film of veil (http://vimeo.com/1122531) last year I had different sequences for St. Maarten, Jost van Dijke, Virgin Gorda, The Baths, The Bitter End, Saba and new St. Maarten, the intro and the ending sequence. When these rooms are complete, he was just a matter of putting everything in a main sequence and go again.

  • How to view the columns (and the sequence and sort order) an index?

Suppose I have an INDEX for an existing TABLE.

How can I know the columns covered by this INDEX (and the sequence and sort order)?

    Which table contains this information?

    ALL_INDEXES does not work.

  • Question about the materialized view

I read that Materialized Views should not be used to select the data. I thought that the whole purpose of materialized view to pre-computes joins and aggregation, so that we can recover more quickly. Please let me know your point of view. I'm working on a project of storage and using materialized in the queue views and data reports

Where did you read that? As stone and others have tried to indicate, this is not the case. Note that the Data Warehousing Guide Peter links has several chapters on materialized views and their uses. Precomputing of aggregates is certainly one of these uses.
