    Hi Experts,

    I have a DB table has columns of more than 50.

  • the query results to table 2d

    I have a list created dynamically IDs I want to query a table
    for matching records for one of the IDs. I can run a loop of the list
    the query, but what is the best way to put all of the matching records
    each individual ID into a single statement of output? I question 7
    different columns, so if I use a table it would need to be 2
    dimensional and I do not know how to write the results of the query to a 2d
    table. Or y at - it an easier way for the release of all data without
    put in a picture at all?

    Here is the corresponding code so far:

    Change your code to the attachment to start (no loops!):

  • Refresh the result table or rerun the query

    I have a requirement, simple but stuck somewhere.

    Jdev 11.1.1.17 Expert level: Mid-Senior

    I have a form of application and the associated result table. It works great and no problems.

    My requirement is that I have a commandlink on one of the column. Clicking on that will open a popup with an editable filed. OK will commit and Cancel will close the pop-up window.

    After that the popup is dismissed with partial trigger, my table refreshes but data is identical to the front. But if I click the Find (Search) button on the query, it shows the data with the results updated which are changed in the pop-up window above.

    How do I update table which re - runs the query and then refreshes the table after the popup is dismissed, or when the user clicks the OK button in the pop-up window.

    Get on the viewObject of this table and call the executeQuery method that

    Write this method in the method AMImpl and then call it in bean managed using the OperationBinding at the click on the Ok button of the dialog box

    ViewObject vo = this.getViewObjectName ();

    vo.executeQuery ();

  • Two criteria in mind: one for af:query, second with bind var, both use same result table

    JDeveloper 12.1.2

    I have two display criteria, VC1 and VC2 are based both on the same VO. For example, let's say that I have used VO

    SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID

    Employees;

    Let this be VC1:

    SELECT * from (SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID

    EMPLOYEES employees ) QRSLT WHERE 1 = 2

    Used for af:query

    So let's say I have VC2 with bind variable

    SELECT * from (SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID

    EMPLOYEES employees ) QRSLT WHERE 1 = 2 AND ((UPPER (QRSLT. Department_id) = UPPER(:DeptIdBind))) )

    The user runs the af:query research and resulting table lists some employees. The last value of the column in the table of results, I did as links:

    < af:column headerText = 'Department' id = "c1" width = "140" >

    < af:link shortDesc = "#{bindings.myVO.hints.DepartmentId.tooltip}" id = "ot4" text = ' #{row. "" DepartmentId}'

    action = "#{backingBeanScope.MyBean.byDept}" partialTriggers =": t1" / >

    < / af:column >

    If the user now clicks on the link, I would expect the following:

    1. the values entered in the af: query to stay

    2. the table refreshes since the underlying VC2 is defined and executed VO. Here is the code VOImpl and backingbean

    The bean of support code

    public String byDept() {}

    Links DCBindingContainer = (DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

    DCIteratorBinding dcItteratorBindings = bindings.findIteratorBinding("EmployeesIterator");

    Line r = dcItteratorBindings.getCurrentRow ();

    Object keyvar = r.getAttribute ("DepartmentId");

    OperationBinding searchExp = ADFUtils.findOperation ("searchByDept");

    searchExp.getParamsMap () .put ("deptId", keyvar);

    searchExp.execute ();

    Returns a null value.

    }

    Impl VO

    {} public void searchByDepartment (String deptId)

    setDeptIdBind (deptId);

    executeQuery();

    }

    Problem:

    Query (VC2) runs but table does not reflect that. That is to say I don't see the list of employees of the selected Department

    Any idea?

    RPP = partial page request

    PPR refresh a component jsf

    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addPartialTarget (UIComponent);

    Where component is the component that you want to refresh.

    Have you checked that the query executed vc ID?

  • Newb question: SQL query on an imported table

    Hi all. I'm a newb, that this issue will probably tell you!
    But I am very interested to familiarize themselves with the Oracle environment.

    I installed 10g Express.
    I was able to set up a new user (schema) profile?

    I created a new table, by importing an Excel file, saved as a CSV file. It has a PK.

    When I log in as an administrator, I can see the table 'discovers' the content.
    However, I can't run a SQL command with the new table.
    It is said Table or view does not exist.

    The table is called "Customers" and contains a column called "City" and I type City Select From Customers.

    Like the Adminisistrator, I have "given" all the rights for the new table to my profile newly created (schema).
    When I connect as long as this new person, I can't see the new table imported into the list of tables, yet alone to run an application or a SQL to it. What did I miss?

    Any tips will be appreciated. Glyn gray...

    Hello

    You wrote:
    The original table is still visible to the diagram of the system, but he reports yet again as saying that the table does not exist when I try SQL.
    So is there a reason why a table imported is visible to the user DBA, but SQL does not exist?
    The other imported tables, those the DBA can run SQL still aren't visible to other users (schemas).
    The DBA has "tuned" EVERYTHING to the default HR schema.
    When I connect like HR, I'm unable to find the given table and SQL reports that the table does not exist.

    If I understand that you have created a Table in the schema of the SYSTEM, and you cannot question him by SQL.

    For example, if you then create a table A in the diagram of SYSTEM, you can view the table A if you connect to the database
    SYSTEM or any intended user he has the privilege to CHOOSE ANY TABLE.

    If you are connected to a user (for example, HR), which does not have this privilege, you can not query the Table.

    If you have a privilege to HR as follows:

    connect system/
    grant select on A to HR;

    Then you can query the Table has to HR:

    connect HR/
    select * from system.A;

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for posting the CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements; It is very useful.

    When you do CONNECT BY and joins in the same query (sub-), joins are made first, and then CONNECT BY is performed on all results of the joints.  In this example, you make a cross of PMCs and this join called temp.  Let's see what the result set looks like:

    SELECT *.

    WCP

    ,       (

    SELECT emp_ID

    WCP

    WHERE emp_id IN (1.5)

    ) temp

    ;

    Output:

    EMP_ID, EMP_NAME MANAGER_ID EMP_ID

    ---------- ---------- ---------- ----------

    1 SCOTT 1

    2 1 1 JOHN

    3 ROB                 2          1

    4 1 2 MIKE

    5 BOB                            1

    JEFF 6 5 1

    1 SCOTT 5

    2 1 5 JOHN

    3 ROB                 2          5

    4 2 5 MIKE

    5 BOB                            5

    6 5 5 JEFF

    Now, you do a CONNECT BY query on the result set.  As you can see, there are 2 lines with emp_id = 2 in the set of results above, which explains why there are 2 lines in your query results with emp_id = 2.  Similarly, the output defined above, there are 2 lines with emp_id = 3, and they all have two manager_id = 2, each of them is considered to be a child of each of each of the 2 rows with emp_id = 2, and therefore, you have 2 * 2 = 4 lines with emp_id = 3 in the output CONNECT BY.

    What is a cross here join?  Why must you temp?  Why not just a CONNECT BY questioning one emp, like this:

    SELECT *.

    WCP

    START WITH emp_id IN (1, 5)

    CONNECT BY PRIOR Emp_id = manager_id

    ;

  • Help on the game of query results

    Hi gurus,

    Have this survey for my requirement of dataset sql.

    Sample, it's that I have to pick up the nonfunctional currency transactions.

    Lets say for a given month, data that are present are for CurrencyA and CurrencyB for a particular account.

    Account1 has a transaction does not work CurrencyA and CurrenyB then Account2 has only transaction to CurrencyB.

    My current query result is that the 3 first lines, what I need is the 4th should also appear and be included.

    CurrencyA - amount - account1

    CurrencyB - amount - account1

    CurrencyB - amount - Account2

    CurrencyA - < '0' / or null >-Account2

    I think that my request is based on the currency < x > I have, so it should be for each account, he has all the lines for each currency.

    If please notify and let me know your thoughts.

    Kind regards

    Hello

    It looks like you want an outer join partitioned.

    I hope that answers your question.
    If not, post a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and the results desired from these data.
    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.
    Always say what version of Oracle you are using (for example, 11.2.0.2.0).

    See the FAQ forum: https://forums.oracle.com/message/9362002

  • Need help to understand the query result

    Hi gurus

    I was reading one of the question here in this forum and its link is below:

    Query required for scenario

    I had some confusion related to this code and don't understand the logic of the out put, see query below:

    Query

    with sub_services as

    (

    Select su_seq 12323, 'HLR1' so_id, 1 seq Union double all the

    Select su_seq 12323, "HLR2' so_id, seq 2 Union double all the

    Select su_seq 12323, "A09" so_id, seq 3 of all the double union

    Select su_seq 12333, "MO1" so_id, seq 4 Union double all the

    Select su_seq 12333, "MO2' so_id, seq 5 Union double all the

    Select su_seq 12333, "A09" so_id, 6 seq in union double all the

    Select su_seq 12333, 'M0CR' so_id, seq 7 Union double all the

    Select su_seq 12999, "LOL1' so_id, seq 8 Union double all the

    Select su_seq 12999, "LOL2' so_id, seq 9 double

    )

    Select *.

    of sub_services b

    where exists (select 1 from sub_services

    where su_seq = b.su_seq

    and so_id = 'A09.

    )

    order by 2;

    The query result

    12323 A09 3

    12333 6 A09

    12323 HLR1 1

    12323 HLR2 2

    12333 M0CR 7

    12333 4 MO1

    12333 5 MO2

    According to my understanding, the above query should return records in red only because of her is below command

    It exists (select 1 from sub_services

    where su_seq = b.su_seq

    and so_id = 'A09.

    but don't know why he's back 7 files, can someone help me understand the result...

    It is query is functionally identical to the PL/SQL block, but much more effective.

    declare

    number of l_res;

    Start

    for line (select *)

    sub_services) loop

    Start

    Select 1 from l_res

    of sub_services

    where su_seq = row.su_seq and

    so_id = "A09" and

    rownum = 1;

    exception when

    NO_DATA_FOUND then

    null;

    end;

    end loop;

    end;

    Essentially every row in the outer query are tested against him exists query.  Given the correlation between two requests is based only on su_seq each line with a su_seq value returned by him is returned in the output.

    Another way to think he uses instead a join condition.  This query is equivalent to the query to exist

    Select the main

    of main sub_services

    Join select (separate su_seq

    of sub_services

    where so_id = "A09") cond

    We main.su_seq = cond.su_seq;

    Thank you for this comment.

    I had created a fresh scheme for publication but the jboss was still pointing to the old.

    I've updated this pointers in file @ /server/ atg atg - ds - ds.xml. Worked like a charm!

    If 2nd EDITION solved.

    The QUESTION 1 depended on question 2. Once I ran publishing and completed the full deployment on ICC, 1st edition got resolved.

    Thanks to shaik and Grando

    Hello

    I'm having a problem with the display of the results of my query result.

  • Refresh table-form query on table only for pages in .jsff

    I have a group being generated as a presentation of table form. I would like for the page of the table to always refresh, and submit the form to refresh page after.
    I saw a thread about how to do this on a .jspx page: Refresh table-form query on table only

    Unfortunately, this does not work for me because I use the .jsff pages and they do not have access to the facesContext. Does anyone know how to do this for a .jsff page?

    Thank you
    Michelle

    Michelle,

    The taskflow 11 ADF in the equivalent of the region of this expression would be

    #{jhsPageChanged and controllerContext.currentViewPort.viewId=='/MyGroupTaskFlow/MyGroupTable'}

    Unfortunately, this currently does not work because there is an error in the JhsNavigationHandlerImpl class we're going to fix in the next release.
    You can apply a work around by creating a subclass of JhsNavigationHandler and replace as follows:

    ' public Sub handleNavigation (FacesContext facesContext, string action,
    The string result)
    {
    String oldPageFragmentId = ControllerContext.getInstance () .getCurrentViewPort () .getViewId ();
    super.handleNavigation (facesContext, action, result);
    String newPageFragmentId = ControllerContext.getInstance () .getCurrentViewPort () .getViewId ();
    If (! oldPageFragmentId.equals (newPageFragmentId))
    {
    JsfUtils.storeOnRequest (JHS_PAGE_CHANGED, Boolean.TRUE);
    }
    }

    To use your subclass, create a custom template for the facesConfig.vm and modify the navigation Manager to use your subclass.
