  You should always 1-1 vlan mapping in deployments of gateway virtual so that the CASE can put traffic customer prior to authentication, on the vlan corresponding to get access ip address for example.

  Only if you use Real-IP gateway, there is no mapping vlan as the CASE acts as a router for the customer of VLAN.

• Photosmart B109 question - display message print head problem cannot be removed

  Hi all, I just bought a used B109 printer/scanner, and I can't get rid of the message on the display screen.

  I bought the unit knowing he had a problem with Printhead and am waiting for a new print head, but the problem is, the language of unity has been defined in Czech by the former owner, and I want to change it to English. However, the process to change the language (press on high righ, middle left and bottom left buttons and the display screen) will not work because the display shows the message print head problem, and I can't get rid of the message.

• Question about scaling for orientation landscape

  I noticed when you use the Simulator BB10, my app is scaling according to the reported resolution of 768 x 1280 instead of 1280 x 768. For this purpose the application is updated to be the incorrect scale. If the application is configured to start in landscape mode, the device should not report as such resolution (1280 x 768)?

  Is it possible to understand dynamically? or just assume if horizontal is reported to be smaller than the verticle, just trade accordingly?

  Just because you specify landscape, the device will probably be in the corresponding mode. Default mode BB10's portrait and on Tablet, landscape.

  It is best to look just at the stage width and height to determine the current orientation and restore as needed. You can listen for orientation changes as well.

  If you run only in the landscape, then you will need to flip how your draw based on if app is landscape-aligned or not aligned it to landscape.

  You may be able to simply rotate your landscape drawable on a change of direction.

  I'm developing an application with waterfalls.

  I have headless_no_stop for the signature permissions.

  It is normal that, when I kill my app (from the Task Manager) and I open it again, it is not without a head?

• Question: Style af:column header using the CSS style class

  I have a simple requirement to set the background color of a column heading to 'red '.

  We use a custom look and I put in this entry in the .css. file

  Deployed to the app and navigated to the web page expecting to see the background of the column header color changes to red.

  I removed the qualifier (.customcolheader) and all the column headers in the corner of the Red application.

  What you mentioned was infact my original code.

  I found the problem. The CSS was not the problem.

  To set the background color of a column heading, I was put in the name of the class under StyleClass for FY: column.

  Infact there is an attribute called "HeaderClass" to af:column and we need to set the name of the CSS class entry there.

  Works like a charm :-)

• Beginner question: resizing/scaling of images, STROKE and workflow.

  Hi all.  I am new to the world of the Illustrator/design, so my apologies for what may seem like a stupid question and I thank you in advance for the advice.

  Basically, I created an image in illustrator that I want to use at different sizes.  I thought at the start: "Hey, it's all the stuff of vector, so I should just be able measure it goes up and down without problem!  However, I quickly realized that while paths are vectors, the stroke applied to paths are not, and they do not change proportionally when I adapt paths.  So, if I increase the size of the image, the objects that were once touching now have gaps between them, and if I reduce the size of the image, certain traits begin to overlap. Just to be perfectly clear on what I'm talking about, here are a few screenshots:

  My questions are:

  1. Was my assumption that 'Illustrator files can be resized easily and inconsequential"simplistic and erroneous?  (It seems that it is!) Please help me understand how illustrator is or is not useful to create scalable images.
  2. Is the right way to manage this just to determine the need for size and have separate AI for each size files, or is there a way to 'better' which implies not manually kicks setting for images of different sizes?

  The perception of the way it should be is correct; but there are a few strangenesses that can mess things up.

  An important one if you have strokes & effects of scale checked or unchecked, in this case, it must be checked, and I believe that it is unchecked.

  You can find it in the Transform palette dialog box.

  You can consider the object > path > feature of contour, then Ctrl / Cmd + SHIFT + G to ungroup, then Pathfinder > unite to change the path traced in a simple filling/nostroke. This will work regardless of features & scale effects.

  Another important is the ghost of pixel grid Align attribute which may haunt you, know well in other cases; often you can recognize by distortions. If it isn't:

  You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher.

  And you can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

• Questions about Spark DataGrid (header font Styles, gradient header)

  Just starting in 4.5 SDK and just a little confused on the Spark DataGrid.

  (1) to set the font style for only the head, but do not see these properties in the designer... as they seem to apply to each part of the data grid.

  (2) want to set a linear gradient in the header using two specific colors, alphas, and ratios.  Don't know where to put it now.

  I think that's all for now.  What I did with it up to now, I love... but obviously not as many as MX DataGrid user documentation.

  You can do a column header converters by setting the property of the column. But if you want to exchange all the headers, the header is rendered must be specified in the skin. A trick you can do is subclass the Datagridskin and replace the declaration of 'his '. It also works with other parts of the skin.

• Question of scaling of the FPGA 2009 PID.vi LV

  Hey all,.

  I have been using the PID.vi in the FPGA LV 8.5 module.  I've updated for 2009, and the vi of PID is different now.  Instead of taking values for the Kc I16, Ki, Kd, value, it now uses FXP 16 bit, with an 8-bit integer value.

  I'm messing around with my host now, trying to figure out how to change the values correctly.  I was using the "niFPGA ScalePIDGains.vi" in the example of "discreet use PID - R series.  This example is the same in 2009 LV compared to 8.5, in what is still growing values at I16.  How would you correctly scale values in the FXP 16-bit value that awaits the FPGA vi?

  Here is some information on the fixed-point data type. You can try to use To fixed-point Function to convert the data type of fixed point of various other types of data, or you can try the wiring directly in the PID VI I16, as it appears to do the conversion for you.

• A strange Question... Heads of technology!

  OK... we have an online Web site that accepts reservations for golf.

  The BB and iPhone can see and navigate the pages... nothing special about it.

  However... when it comes to activate the button "confirm" the iPhone is able to proceed.

  It would seem that even if my selected browser is Firefox, the site had been tagged with "Telstra Portal" [OPTIONS].

  Now, I can tell you that I have never tagged it... I only looked in the OPTIONS as a frustration

  Anyway... once I changed it to Firefox [made with the open site] reservation buttons became, as they were with the Telstra portal, accessible.

• Print head and Officejet 6500 ink system failure problems

  I have the Officejet 6500 wireless and it won't print.  It says ink system failure and head print seems to be missing or damaged.  Today, I installed new HP ink cartridges.

  Is it possible to check to see whether this printer is kaput?

  I just watch about GoldenGate to evaluate to see if it will do what we want.  I have read a lot of information but have not fallen on the answers to some basic questions rolling in my head.  Any help would be appreciated. These are real newbie questions so I apologize if seem really Basic...

  The prod environment is Oracle CARS 10.2.4 on windows 64.  The new prod environment is Oracle 11.2.0.3 RAC on windows 64.  The test environment used to learn GoldenGate is Oracle 10.2.0.4 (no cars) on windows 64 as a source. It has a copy of the database of operational prod.  The target database is Oracle 11.2.0.3 (no cars) on windows 64.  The target is newly installed with a data base of departure yet created with nothing in it.  The goal is to use GoldenGate as 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.3 upgrade path.

  Question 1 - What Versions of GoldenGate?

  Of course, we will use windows 64 bit, GoldenGate 11.2.1.0.1, I guess GoldenGate 11.2.1.0.1 - for Oracle 10 g must be installed on the source, and GoldenGate 11.2.1.0.1 - for Oracle 11 g must be installed on the target?  It is this correct?  This seems obvious, but I don't like to assume anything.

  Question 2 - capacity replication and extract.

  The goal is to replicate the database to 10.2.0.4 on 11.2.0.3 and have an extraction process (probably go) is going to keep the 11.2.0.3 new database, synchronized with the 10.2.0.4.

  Question 1: You're right, well if you have a MOS account, get the latest versions of OGG for your db/OS specific out there, on the site of the Patch.  There is a 11.2.1.0.12 for Oracle 11 g on windows x 64 and 11.2.1.0.4 for Oracle 10 g on Windows x 64.

  Question 2: OGG is not a tool for database replication, but DATA replication software.  You must create the target on the 11.2.0.3 objects db yourself, either with EXP/IMP, RMAN restore, etc.  There are suggestions to make a first loading here: http://www.ateam-oracle.com/?s=goldengate+initial+load and using OGG in conjunction with the initial load, you can capture changes to the data (and DDL for Oracle for Oracle, but stick with the basics of DML for now) here on the.  The link above has a guide to migrate too.

• To the Partition, or not?

  After the conversation with others on this forum, a question popped into my head.

  With a fusion of 1 TB drive, which is preconfigured with Mac OS, etc. can a partition that drive?

  I was under the impression that this could cause issues with the merger, thereby breaking the merger between the SSD and SATA.

IS DISPLAYED ON THE PRINTER SCREEN. I DID EVERYTHING SUGGESTED, AND MORE MORE, BUT THIS CUSTOM MESSAGE CLEARLY.  ALL DIAGNOSES OF THE PRINTER THE PRINTER IS FINE.  THE OPERATING SYSTEM IS WINDOWS 7.

  Your article made a walkthrough basic troubleshooting, ending with the question if the print head is repairable. Because it is not on the 6700, the article isn't really the problem.
  
  Here is the solution I found to this problem:
  I discovered that eliminating all ink cartridges allows the printer at startup (although there is a message saying the missing print cartridges).
  Putting the cartridges in a binary regression revealed that the ink has been bad. (In my case, I only got the message of failure/printer ink when the yellow cartridge was in the printer).
  Replacement of the restored cartridge the printer functionality.
  That's the good news.
  Now the bad news: for HP.
  The generic error message indicates a failure with the printer or the ink system. No differentiation. With the electronics in the cartridges (that the client pays a high price for), looks that HP could not understand how to indicate a cartridge problem. This error message is not only unnecessary, but misleading. The printer indicates only a power reset and then contact HP. There is no indication that he might be a cartridge problem, not to mention what cartridge has failed. By the way, my customer encountered this problem when you replace the color cartridges. The cartridge failed was a new replacement.

  Another problem with this printer, is that, even when you only print in b & W, the printer uses little color (ostensibly make Blacks more "BOLD"). Then, finally, a color cartridge will go low or empty, even if only B & W printing. And guess what, you can't continue to print n & B if one of the color cartridges are out of ink. Thus, HP... How is this useful printer in an office environment, where most print tends to be B & W?

  (I would add; the solution in the message of failure/printer ink cartridge cannot fix your problem if, in fact, there are a few default printer. But if the problem is in the ink system, then the troubleshooting cartridge can help you).

• How can I use an ipod nano that was synched to another computer?

  My daughter gave me his 2nd generation ipod nano because it is no longer use it.  When I plugged in my USB to load, I got a message informing me that there is an update.  It would not be updated beause "ipod cannot be updated because it contains files that are used by another application."

  What should I do to be able to use this ipod nano?

  I don't think that this message is related to the iPod is synced to another computer...  It is usually other applications or processes on the computer (which is not iTunes) accessing the iPod for some reason if iTunes is not able to perform the update.  However, your question in the subject heading ("How can I use an ipod nano that was synched to another computer?") is valid, since the iPod was previously used by someone else, with a different iTunes library.

  If you want to start using this iPod with your iTunes library and put on your songs, instead of doing an Update, you need to restore.  This erases the iPod, reinstalled the latest version of the software, and sets it to the default settings.  The iPod gets a 'new beginning', as when it was new.  To resolve the problem with this "files in use by another application" error message, try restarting your computer.  Immediately after the computer finishes starting up, run iTunes, plug in the iPod (if it isn't already) and try to do the restore (or Update).  If you still get this error message, please after return.

  If you are restoring, you can configure it to sync with your iTunes library.  You can post back, if you need advice on options for the implementation.
