Quick blackBerry smartphones discharge of battery

Hi can anyone tell me what to do when you buy a bb curve and three months later begins to unload quickly, IE, after a full charge, it goes flat at 12.00. Took to the people, where I bought and told him he must be sent in the test center to see where the problem lies. I can't just have a phone replacement or battery as it should be still under warranty

My 9300 did the same thing. You must turn off compression. Go to Options-> device-> storage and uncheck 'Enable Compression '. Then save the settings. That's all. Mine is back to normal.

    Hello. I have a Curve 9360 since January 2012.

Over the few days I warned to fast battery draining (1 to 2 hours with normal use, before it was 6-8 hours). So I thought that the battery is over. Bought a new original.

    Nope.

I disable: ring, wifi, gps, unused apps. clean the battery contacts, leaving in charge for 12 hours. nothing to do. battery in a very short time.

    What can have happened?

    anyone has the same problem?

Can someone help me with my BlackBerry smartphone! < br > < br > 4 days ago, I went into a store and joined promo called "Swap and Switch BlackBerry. I swapped my old BlackBerry to a new curve 9320/7.1.0.398 (B1319) basically, I live in the Philippines and my carrier is Globe telecom. And for some reason, my battery does not work to my expectation, I need to load 2 - 3 times a day even though I'm not a heavy user. I get 3 emails per day, no call, I have BBM, I receive text messages but I don't answer, I have facebook but not twitter, I play from time to time the music and SURFs the internet. but it goes too fast for me. It is the only small curve battery? < br > < br > I got all my settings tweaked, together the brightness up to 10%, 10seconds backlight time, battery-saving mode is ON, delete all my apps removed third-party social feeds also, my network is 2 g, removal of updates on my BBM, off GPS, past before bedside mode that I sleep and I always make sure that no other applications running in the background to name a few! Believe me, I did save all tricks I could stack, but nothing seems to work. < br > < br > I regularly check my CPU usage, but no application seems to run in the background, even did some research on how to properly load a Li-ion battery, but my battery drain is still at 11-12%/hr. What should I do?

I updated my version of the OS, I'll give it a week and see if it improves my battery.

  • BlackBerry smartphones is the battery of my Blackberry Bold 9900 death?

So I had this phone for about a year and a half. I'm under contract. Its been a couple of days and his agi upward. I have fully charged aura and within 1 to 3 hours, the battery will reduce by 50%, even with minimal use. I already checked if I have programs that run in the background and nothing. I also deleted all the apps that I don't use, and that did not help either. So I decided to restart the phone thinking it was probably just a temporary problem. Well, when we turn back, the battery has been completely drained (according to the icon on the phone), it's the Red of the battery with no bar. So I went back and charged him and he immediately showed them was still left half battery (it literally went a half of the white battery red battery).

Whenever I plugged it in the wall, it works very well and doesn't show any problem. As soon as I use it freely is when problems occur. I had to take my charger everywhere with me for the last two days. What is happening with my Blackberry?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.

This is the reason to worry, just here. A good smartphone battery will give you a year and a half to two years of reliable service depending on usage, of course. What we can do is eliminate it is a software problem. Once we have eliminated that, all that remains is for you to get a new battery, knowing that yours is on its last breath.

I would like you plug your phone to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software. Once your phone is connected, click device at the top of the software and then restore. Choose the most recent restore point and load it on your phone. Once that your phone has rebooted, see if the problem persists. If so, go out and get a new battery (or, better yet, a new phone BB10). If the problem corrects itself, then you are welcome.

Keep us updated on your progress.

  • Update blackBerry Smartphones > build 2342 > battery Draing w / frequent waiting

    Hey everybody,

    I have the Blackberry Torch 9800 with OS 6. (v6.0.0.526 platform 6.6.0.195)

I used the original version (I think as the 695, 645 or something in the 6xx range) without problem... autonomy, etc.

Updated build 2342 yesterday evening and now the battery drains very quickly with frequent periods of waiting/gel/hourglass. It fully loads last night and when I woke up this morning 6-7 hours later, she was more nearly 28 percent.

I check the Options > device > application > CPU and I will often see the module running at 70-90% phone, but it's just sitting on my desk only serve only not to no other applications running.

Less than 10 minutes, 2 or 3 percent is empty the battery.

I already removed and then reinserted the battery and did use the combination ALT + SHIFT + DELETE to restart or not.

So, what are my options? I rebooted just the thing with no other applications running with the phone module to look at me while he steals my battery power.

    Thank you and God bless,

    Johnathan

Activation of the Compression does not seem to drain the battery with the module "Phone"... don't know why.

So to solve the OS 6 build 2342 battery draining... just disable Compression:
Options > device > storage > 'Enable Compression' = uncheck

    Question

I bought this unit on 29 February. A few days later, I noticed the battery was going from 100% to 0% in a few hours, so I went in the first week to change the battery and did this and he used to work fine until a few days where the battery goes from 100% to 0% in less than an hour ago. I do use the browser and twitter a lot, but I still think that the battery must remain more than that.

    Any ideas?

  • Lost BlackBerry Smartphones Storm 9530 battery charge all of a sudden

For the last one or two week, my Storm battery is weird. The prosecution suddenly falls of 40-50% on average of a call or while I use the phone for other reasons, say by looking at an email. At the time when this happens, the phone hard resets on its own. For example, this morning while I was on a call, the battery went from 55% to 10% all of a sudden, and my phone is off. Later in a few hours it dropped 49% after a call of 2 minutes, at 12%. At this point, I did a battery pull, and when my phone started, (fancy) battery log shows an increase of 35% when I offered any.

I am well aware of battery conservation measures; I have normally away Bluetooth and GPS, I have no battery sucking applications running in the background and so on. I have been using this storm for 2 years now.

My question is, are these symptoms of my battery life is over and I need to replace it or is it a problem of calibration and can be resolved.

Any help/tips will be highly appreciated.

Cycling the battery did not work. Looks like the battery life is over. I replaced a new battery and my phone behaves normally; discharge of 2-3% / hour as planned.

So if someone knows the symptoms above, please replace your battery.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 8130 dead battery / flashing screen?

Hey all the... I have an 8130, used for a few weeks with happiness, opportunity and then I let my battery choke yesterday. Since that date, when plug it into USB-> PC or the wall charger BB all that I get is the white screen with blue streak through the empty battery. The backlight flashes also - from top to bottom (not extinguished/turned on) on a very regular basis. I had plugged a few hours at work, no change. If I remove the charger, it dies. I tried to hook up w / Office Manager, now that I'm at home, it dosent sees the device. JL_Cmder arrive deviceinfo either. It was not fallen or done it get wet. I just hung my Orb login for the first time and finished streaming videos (very cool btw).

so... is this just a dead battery?

I went to Verizon today store to get a new battery, and the guy he said that I have TO buy from them, and they store them. That made me angry so I left without buying a... but is it true? It seems to me that there are a lot of places sell them.

    Thanks in advance!

You can buy your battery anywhere where they are sold, even an ATT or TMo dealer, you have the same battery, you, who should be the yellow battery C - M2? Even BestBuy has sometimes.

LET your connected USB and charge for a few hours and then with the USB plugged, remove the battery and reinsert. See if boots and LEAVE longer, load to 100%.

Tip, don't ever let your dough in less than 15% charge.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB 9900 battery

I was disappointed by my battery with the 9900 BB new life. Read posts on possible corrections, but nothing helped. Started tinkering and found my backlight setting was too high - 70. Lowered to 10 and what a difference it made. Go about 9 hours and still have 50% remaining battery. Also did the same for the other parameters.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones looking reboot / battery pull App for BES / what permissions are needed?

I tried to use again Me in my 9900, but is not compatible with BES. Not all the permissions the application, but it does not work. It just hangs. I asked the seller the necessary permissions, and they seem to be completely put out on this issue. They simply said of all the permissions must be enabled. On the right, as the computer SCIENCE Department will go for this.

I don't mind paying for an app if it works and if I can get a clear indication of what permissions requires.

If you use a reboot / battery traction app with BES, which do you use, and what is the permissions it requires?

I just found out that ALT BACKSPACE of RIGHT SHIFT causes a reboot. Now, I have no need of a battery pull application.

  • Themes for blackBerry Smartphones run down battery

Can someone please shed some light on this? It seems to be a common occurrence that the addition of topics drains your battery. I added 4, in addition to the original, and my battery does not last half a day now. What is the cause? We are forced to have only installed both 1. Will we have to redownload and do battery pull everyitme we want to change the theme?

It is because the Plazmic version that is currently available for making themes is still in beta mode, which means that there are still some bugs to fix. It is a potential bug. If you want to be sure, consider to wait for the official release of Plazmic will be out before downloading more themes.

  • BlackBerry smartphones recharges the battery and the music/video game at the same time

Is it possible to charge the battery and simultaneously play music or videos on my storm? If so, please direct me to where the instructions are located so I can set my phone to enable this option.

You can do what you want while charging the battery.

the only exception is if recharge you using the USB port AND you use your device as USB mass storage.

  • How blackBerry Smartphones should long battery last?

How long the battery put on a full charge with normal use.

I have my light screen set at 80%, with disabled Bluetooth.

Batteries are not like the 'old' where it was recommended that you drain the battery before recharging. With these new batteries Li-ion (Lithium ion), you want to avoid to fulfil completely because it can actually damage the load capacity of the battery. It is difficult to say what is the magic number, but most people recommend to avoid to go below 15% of costs.

When you say you've been 9 hours, what you do with the phone? You look at a lot of videos? If so, that will drain your battery a lot faster. I usually have to charge my phone most nights from one day to the next, but I typically 60% power left by the end of the day (and this is with a decent amount of use of the browser, etc.).
