I can activate authentication network WPA - PSK on the laptop, but I can't select (only TKIP) AES data encryption.

There are new drivers available for the Intel WiFi card on the Intel Web site:

    http://support.Intel.com/support/wireless/WLAN/sb/CS-010623.htm

If you install them, also install the tool Intel PROSet / Wireless, has its much better than the Wireless Zero Configuration tool Windows XP SP2 and it also has an option for AES data encryption.

  • AES/ebu Audio inputs

    Forum dear friends,

Today my sound engineer is plugged his Nomad Zaxomm with AES - EBU in my F5.

The text on the screen side went gray and in the viewfinder, I received the message

"The AES - EBU input is not Pro-utilisation"

If anyone has seen this before?

I run version 3.0 (otherwise I would not have taken the trouble with AES - EBU)

and last week with a mixer of Cooper with converter separated from AES - EBU everything has worked flawlessly.

full reset etc. does not change.

Please let me know your experiences.

The sound engineer has updated his Zaxcomm Nomad with the latest firmware and now the problem is solved!

Have not heard of someone overhere having a problem with his camera.

  • WG102 fails with iPad / iPhone with iOS 6 and WPA2 / AES - urgent correction necessary!

    Hello *.
    *
After upgrading my iPad to iOS 3 6 he constantly fails to connect to WiFi with WPA2 and AES - hidden or broadcast SSID - at home and at work because the device does not accept the WPA2 password. This is also the case for my iPhone 4s, but the two appliances worked with WiFi (WPA2 / AES) perfectly with previously installed iOS 5.1.1.
    *
I tried to downgrade to iOS 5.1.1 but it seems to be is no longer possible to downgrade the two iPad 3 and iPhone 4S as certification and maybe the viewport for iOS 5.1.1 was closed by Apple.

Strange behaviour seems to address a problem of firmware of the installed Netgear WG 102 APs that all do not allow the connection of iOS 6 devices with WPA2 / AES enabled :-(

Does anyone know about a possible solution to connect to WiFi with WPA2 and AES with 3 iPad / iPhone 4 and iOS 6 update for Netgear WG 102 APs?

Thanks a lot for any help and advice.

    Best regards from the Germany

The downgrade to 5.0.1 works. He fixed a connectivity with my two devices IOS 6, my wife 5 iPhone and my new retinal screen of the iPad. It does not appear to have caused problems of connectivity with other devices down to 5.0.1

  • Satellite P200-157: Atheros AR5006EG WLan - AES encryption in question WPA

    Hello, sorry for my English.

I bought a SATELLITE P200-157 with VISTA OEM 2 months, since I can't use WPA with Atheros AR5006EG AES encryption.

The LAN does not work because three other computers are connected in wifi on the same router. With the Toshiba pc, I just can be connected to the WLAN key if my router WEP or WPA - PSK TKIP. in WPA - PSK AES/CCMP or TKIP + AES it does not work.
When the SATELLITE is unable to connect to the WIFI network, it return when connecting try 'Abnormally long network connection' = connection too long and after vista let me choose between a diagnosis of the problem or borrowed from another ESSID.

Did I missed something let work AES encryption? Thank you for helping me, I have no idea to solve this problem.

    Hello

As far as I know all this (encryption) WLAN settings must operate if the material and the pre-installed driver supports all this. I'm afraid that in your case, he can't do it because the wireless network card and all modes of AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption option are not supported.

Who holds the keys for encryption AES mentioned in the table under "security and features iCloud?

    Article

Security and privacy - Apple Support Overview iCloud

has a useful table in the section entitled Security and features iCloud.

The table shows the types of keys used to secure the different types of data.

Apple holds these keys as it may be requested of Apple by third parties?

Hmmm... You definitely raise a good and valid question to which I don't know the answer to, but if I had to guess, I would say that no one.  Would this be possible?  I know I've heard Cook mention that they "don't hold the keys" but does the same thing, it refers?  It would make a very interesting topic of discussion.

  • Options Audio AES?

Is there any AES inputs? I heard a rumor that the analog inputs could be used as AES. Ideally, we would like to than 4Ch Audio, similar to a PMW500.

Thank you Peter, just work my way through the FDTimes write then just stumbled on that.

I would use this device with my DWRS02D system. The adapter DWA - 01 has a Vlock mounting plate. Is there a plan to integrate the traditional V-Mount at a back of the camera?

The best option would be a drop in style slot that would fit between the camera and battery / RAW recorder etc. Once again similar to that of a PMW500, eliminating the need for external cabling to the audio section. With that it will really be a compact tool for a wide range of productions.

  • Albums AES Mic

Hi, currently I'm under my double Sony DWR S01D receiver in channel 1 of my F5 with AES on. This works great except when I want to use my micro page. I expected to plug in my microphone on channel two and run 3/4, but because it is not AES, it won't work. Is there a chance that we will have more control of the two channel entered in future upgrades or should I be looking for a stereo microphone of the page that input AES option. (if something like this exists). regards Tony

Try to run your DWR in chan 2 that will put on aes 3/4, and then you can connect your cam microphone in chan 1 normally. Works for me like a charm.

  • AEs/Single/data queues the value element references

I'll have my CLD exam in December, and I'm just trying to 'inflate' as much as info that I can of course of the forum, alongside the preparation of the material...

I also started to read "nuggets" pleasant and interesting too, and I hope I can get clarification for some of my issues that have emerged. (Sorry if I have a question is too noobish, trying to practice for the CLD beside my regular daily workload, and I am a little slow thinker in the night )

I use often FGVs (and ActionEngines) in my applications, and for some "surfing and learning' on the discussion forum, OR I found this post:

    http://goo.GL/Cz1d0p

People here recommended that the OP could use screws of wrapper which method has 2 benefits, explained here:

    "Wrap".

    http://goo.GL/J4vEIE

    My 1st question:

I'm not really sure of what means a VI wrapper? Is this a Subvi, where the certain Subvi AE is called dynamically? I couldn't find examples showing how do (I read the entire post, but the subsequent discussion was more about OBJECT oriented programming...)

    2nd question:

In the second post of nugget of community, there are a few closing notes, one of them: "AEs do not need a while loop." I thought AEs must also use a shift uninitialized register to store information (such as FGVs), and I need a while loop to have the shift register... Isn't it?

    question 3:

I fall into the usual dangerous trap, jumping through different related posts, and try to understand everything at the same time but I wonder if there is a kind of basic example, which shows the three solutions (ActionEngines, SingleElementQueue, refs value data) for the same task?

Thanks a lot for the explanation!

PS: Sorry for using google URL shortened, but the forum of the site gives me error (Please enter a valid url) when I try to paste the normal URL...

The single line of the element should not be used anymore.  Its purpose has been simplified with the value of data reference.  The concept between the two is exactly the same (reference to a single piece of memory that is locked when read until edited and rewritten in it).  The DVR uses only the Structure of the elements in Place to include the action-Edit-reading where the SEQ relied on the writer is smart enough to actually write data in the queue.

I like the Action engines.  They are simple and keep everything in one place.  Read you from a register of offset (or feedback node), do whatever it takes with it and rewrite in the shift register (or feedback node).  The fact that it is inside a non-reentrant VI acts as your lock.

I personally only used once a DVR in a real project and it is only to take care of some composition in my-oriented configuration object (several necessary items to refer to another shared object).  Otherwise, he has been driving Action all the way for me.

  • EA6500 no selection TKIP or AES

Here, I'm a bit confused.  How is this router does not allow to choose TKIP or AES.

It allows only the personal WPA2 options.  So, my devices that connect to the router are all TKIP.

What happened to these choices on this router?

My extension that clones the router shows TKIP.

I got thoughtthe AES has been a much better security and performance selection than TKIP.

    Comments?

Most routers of generation more recent Linksys automatically manage modes of security on routers out there. So depending on your customer support HW and what they need, there may be one or two devices on your system that may be using TPIK and do not support AES that may cause the router to withdraw aid from TPIK. I don't know for sure if the router is running and can distiguish between what devices in need of each mode and let each device use the AES on TPIK mode and let the other AES used support facilities. You can turn off all wireless devices and test each device one at a time to see which devices use which mode.

  • WGA600N default for WPA/WPA2 TKIP/AES despite settings saved after reboot

Strange comment here: when I select in the web the WGA600N utility: WPA/WPA2 TKIP/AES after restart only WPA2 and AES only, always default.  I saw it twice.

Anyone has an idea why it is doing this? My D-Link 825 security is set to WPA2 with AES encryption only algorithm.

I read that the maximum speed is obtained by forcing these settings and I tried to get the router and bridge to match.

As I pointed out in the "New Firmware" thread, the problem is solved with the release of 1.05.

  • [WRT160NL] Problem with the only AES encryption

    Hello

I have problems after changing the shape of TKIP or AES to AES encryption. After that everything works OK for a few minutes, then I'm 100% loss when ping anything (including the router). After waiting a few minutes connection starts to work again, and everything is repeated. All the time I'm connected. If I reconnect everything works for a few minutes and then I'm once again, this situation. Return to TKIP or AES does not change this behavior until the reboot of the router. I've got second laptop computer connected through wired interface and it work without problem. My card is: Intel WiFi Link 5100. Settings on the router:

    Firmware version: 1.00.01 B17 may 12, 2009

Network mode: wireless - n only

Channel width: wide angle: 40 MHz channel

    Scale channel: Auto

    Security mode: WPA2 Personal

Does anyone have similar problems? Any ideas?

    Kind regards

    Maciek

Try to re-flash the firmware on the router and re - configure the router from scratch. You can download the firmware from www.linksys.com/downloads.After re-flashing the firmware, reset the router for 30-35 seconds, power cycle the router and then re - configure from scratch.

    Personal WPA2 uses AES only.
    WPA Personal uses TKIP only.

    WPA2/WPA Personal Mixed-Mode uses both.

For the best security and performance use WPA2 Personal only.
