  It must be a built-in Administrator account that does not remove-able.  When you get to the login screen, hit Ctrl-Alt-Del twice.  Then you should be able to enter "Admin" as user and leave the password empty (unless you have changed in the past).  Then, you should be able to create other users with administrator privileges or other functions of the administrator.

  What is the password?

  RA media server became administrator after changing my standard user account. Now, I can not retrieve my admin rights because he kept asking admin password that I don't know. System Restore didn't help coz' it was not far enough for the moment I changed my standard user account.

  I called Dell, but I don't want to pay the support service which costs more than a hundred dollars.

  I need some help on how I could get my admin rights back again.

  I have no copy of the installers for some of my important software which is why I'm afraid to reinstall the program, or even do a system recovery.

  I use a 32-bit vista. The only solution I can think of is to get "system user", but I don't know how.

  Please I need help.

• RA Media Server Administrator Password

  Could somone please help?  I am the only user of Windows 7 on my laptop and can't remember having set up an administrator password that I am the only user.  I keep get asked my RA Media Server password before I install the drivers or any other medium or edit my profile to become an administrator.  Thank you.

  Thanks Vincenzo.  I tried to restart the system, but of course got the same error message.  In the end, I rang Dell and they talked me through re install Windows 7.  Lost everything, but can at least now use my computer.

  I'm working on a project involving Flash Media Server 2 and streaming

  At first I thought I could just use the FLVPlayback control, but it
  doesn't seem so safe. I don't even need to connect to the
  NetConnection object before their passage along a value in the .source
  property or .load method.
  
  
  Then I started watching NetStreams and then using attachNetStream to
  a video object. In this way, it will only connect in the stream if it
  successfully hooked up with the NetConnection
  (application.acceptConnection). am I correct in assuming that this is more
  ensure that the use of a control of FLVPlayback?
  
  
  Is it possible to pass a stream to a FLVPlayback control, so the user interface is
  already created, including the implementation of start/stop/pause and the read head they can
  use to Polish? Or y at - it an easy way to build the user interface on a custom
  video object? All links to examples would be greatly appreciated.
  
  
  I currently if users can click on the thumbnails (loads through XML)
  to. seek() to specific tasks in the workflow. Which works very well. But
  the main feature I need now is a head of reading and scrub bar. I know

  I wanted just to update (in case someone else through it), but it seems that http://www.gotoandlearn.com/ accurate tutorials, I needed about how to build my own custom player using a video object and NetStream. At the bottom of the list of tutorials, there are 6 video tutorials which helped.

• 40TL838 - DLNA problem files on DLNA and Plex Media Server

  I have a problem with streaming * avi files * via * DLNA * on my TV * 40TL838 *. My * Ubuntu Server 12.04* is my Media Server with a * Plex Media Server * running on it. The Plex Media Server is my DLNA server. I am able to view the mkv, m4v, m4v... videos, but my avi files I can see, but if I select a nothing happens.
  Streaming via DLNA on my iPhone or iPad is no problem.

  First I would recommend you to check the records of media supported player.
  This is mentioned in the manual on page 67/68

  There, you will find all the details on the format of media supported, video codec and audio codec USB and DMS (digital media server is a device that can function as server for a player) reading.

  The basic operation is also described in the 40-43 user manual page.

  There is no official way to download the Plex Media Server on our devices. Although it is possible, it is not supported by Lenovo/Iomega and change the device may void the warranty if problems occur. • 4300 WNDR media server is not available

  I have configured the media server on my WNDR 4300 and I checked that the connected USB drive is "authorized" (extendent USB setting). However, customers DLNA cannot connect to the system and it is not visible in the network.

  I tried iPhone MoliPlayer, Windows 7 with VLC player, Windows 7 with media player, LG TV and receiver Yamaha. Windows 7 server is directly attached to the device WNDR.

  \\Readyshare works correctly.

  I had stopped access control and restarted - no difference (always not visible).

  I checked that all the devices are allowed to connect to the network (new authorized devices).

  I rebooted several times WNDR without alteration.

  I have no idea what setting could be the problem / reason for this behavior.

  I have the firmeware 1.0.2.80 which seems to be the last.

  Any idea?

  I was able to delete the folder and change permissions rebuilt DB DLNA. Now everything works.

• Random Media Server

  OK... I have a Droid X

  Sometimes the thing (with WIFI off and once all off data services) will say it is connected to a media server and switch to a landscape screen (I guess that's normal for a connection to the real media server, but who knows). Any time I try to understand what exactly it is connected to the display will switch back to normal. I have never used this feature before and worry. Recently it seems that the problem has progressed to dock car, as well. The application will start randomly for no apparent reason.
  Anyone else have any ideas, or know how can I stop this?

  Also (maybe user error):

  I also had "airplane mode" activate a time when I don't think I hit, and the "auto rotation" screen turns off, once again, I believe that I didn't touch it.

  I get the car dock and clock screen a few times. I'm sure it's the magnet in my case resulting in however.

• Uknown /RA Media Server administrator password

  I've never set up an administrator password and now when I try to download something it appears with 'RA Media Server', then a space for a password, I don't know. To this effect, I can't download anything and Dell was no help because my warranty has run out. Please Hellpppppp

  Hi, Juggler777. Media server name is the name of the router. You can change the name of the FTP server using a 3rd party service like DynDNS, TZO and other DNS providers.

• NMH305 cannot start Media Server

  I just bought a NMH305 and have updated the firmware to 3.18.4. I implemented such that provided and all right and the Media Server worked and could be detected by the media players on my local network. I then added a second 500gig SATA drive and it was quickly recognized. I put the linear Raid 2 configuration (for a total of 930gigs). I was able to move files on the disk configuration and everything seems OK.

  However I'm unable to activate the Configuration Server / media to on. When I click on activate the media server small pop - up appears, but the options to "Find media shared on my network" is grayed out. If I then click 'Submit' nothing happens for a few moments and then upcomes another popup saying ' Media Server is disabled. GoTo settings/Services to enable your media server... "

  I can enable and disable the itunes, ftp and other options in the page configuration, one Server - the only Media that interests me really wont one more.

  Can anyone offer any help?  Thank you very much

  Thank you, Wilins377, that did the trick. The machine has reset itself to factory firmware, and my files are all intact. I can now update the sile system and the media server is running. The system is asking me to upgrade the firmware later, but since everything seems OK, I'm inclined to leave well alone.
