Race image a hyperlink in Internet Explorer

I have an image of the logo that appears in some browsers a purple around the image line IE because it's a hyperlink. I tried to move the < a href... outside the < td > tags, but he has not made a difference.
See the following code:

< div id = "LyrLogo" >
< table width = "255" height = "40" border = "0" cellpadding = "0" cellspacing = "0" >
< b >
"< td > < a href ="... / index.html "" > < img src = ""... / pictures/logo_brown.gif "alt ="logo"width ="255"height ="40"/ > < / has > < table >"
< /tr >
< /table >
< / div >

Sorry... Add to the image, not the table...

The problem was the picture.  the image is out of a folder and entered the part of the query with other data.  I show the photo and the rest of the data on the same line of different record.  the problem I had is the size of the image that reduced to 100px in Chrome, but did not in firefox or internet explore.  I was able to make firefox and internet explore cooperate with me by adding a "max-width: 100px" in css.  for some reason any saying explicitly the size of the image is not enough, we must also say explicitly what the maximum size should be also.

Yes, it's a known issue, if you declare the width with css and not online.

  • The AXIS Media Control, which allows you to view live image streams in Microsoft Internet Explorer, could not be saved on your computer.

Why do this message with my IE9 (64-bit) when I try to open a live streaming webcam?  It will work on the old (32 bit) if IE9.

    Hi Carol,.

Thank you very much for the reply.

You can create a shortcut to Internet Explorer 32-bit on your desktop.

    See the following steps:

    Find the file iexplore.exe inC:\Program Files(X86) \Internet.exe. Right-click iexplore.exe , and then select send to-> desktop (create shortcut).

Rename this shortcut so that you know this is the shortcut for IE 32 bits.

  • No images - only sound in Internet Explorer

    Hello

When I test my build on local everything seems to work in Chrome, Firefox and IE (on Win7), but when I test the same files downloaded on my server there are no images in the video - only sound. There is no problem for Firefox and Chrome.

I don't think it's a problem with codecs because it works when I play the video files on the. And its probably not a security, error because the file is loaded and I can hear the sound...

Anyone know this problem and what can be done to solve the problem? Any help would be appreciated!

The file loading is done through the VAST library

UPDATE: tested on MAC with Chrome and Safari. The same problem is also here: no images...

Update2: Tested on pc Win8.1: it works with IE but not audio or images in Chrome. I'm really confused now!

OK, I think I solved it myself. It fails on IE when wmode is direct and stageVideo is true... It had to do more tests to see how it works on other platforms.

  • INTERNET EXPLORER 8 32 bit & 64 bit ICON IMAGES IN THE taskbar

Why not do the 32-bit & 64-bit Images different icons for Internet Explorer 8 in the taskbar when pin them us to the taskbar of the two different program files directories (version 64 bits in Program Files, & in Program Files (x 86) 32-bit version)?

In this way, we will do it know what version of IE8 we enable when you click on one of the two ICONS IE8 (32-bit or 64-bit) by going on the Internet.

For example, some software are still 32-bit development stage and need to be addressed by the 32-bit version of IE8, until they are ready for the 64 bit version, like Adobe Flash for example.

I agree that would help a little difference in icons. However, placing the cursor on the icon should tell yoou who he is. The 64-Bit Version says 64-bit while the 32-bit Version only says IE.

  • Why Tumblr images are not displayed, but they do in Internet Explorer?

Mozilla has already admitted that leaking memory prevents images from multiple sources. Well, if I open Tumblr, not all the images it displays. Some simply lead to links by saying: "Access Denied", and some have simply even a URL there; There is no indication that an image is there at all. The Tumblr Windows more than I have open, the worst problem, and more each page takes to load.

These problems do not exist on Internet Explorer 11 at the same time, looking at the same pages. Images load and display when an image is not available, a broken link icon. Something is very wrong with the image handling in Firefox 38, such a serious problem that threatens the usability of the program. When I can't get the images for books on page "Scary Go Round" of John Allison, but they instantly appear in Internet Explorer, then there is a problem quite serious here not adequately. I think you should look into this and quickly. Such, Firefox is broken, virtually useful. It is not usable for any Web page with multiple images.

I'm spoiled at the office, as the page load all 22MB in about 11 seconds (depending on the Network Monitor of Firefox Web Console - attached screenshot section). I don't know on a normal connection it takes less than a minute to download that amount of data.

I use the NoScript extension, so a few scripts that could possibly slow down to the bottom of the page are blocked by a load, including scripts of Radar data, scorecard research and Google Analytics.

If the suggestions in the response of cor - el do not help, could test you mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

    and OK reboot.

Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

    Any difference?

  • Loading images in internet explorer, not in firefox, why is this?

The Web site, in which I work is www.pestcontrolprofessional.com. On the upper left corner is the logo of the company. This load correctly in internet explorer, but I can't seem to load on firefox. On "AboutUs" page I can't also the image to load in FF. I checked the HTML to see why and I can not just come up with an answer. I'm sure it's an obvious answer. I've seen similar issues on this site but I can't find one that applies to this topic. Any help is appreciated.

No problem here with this logo.

You can open this logo directly in a tab?

If you use extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) as NoScript , Adblock Plus or Block Flash that can block content, and then make sure that these extensions are not blocking content.

Reload Web pages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold SHIFT and click reload.
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (MAC)

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

I have used Firefox for years. I bought a new Dell laptop 3 weeks ago, came with Internet Explorer. Later, I downloaded FF 6.0.1 that I prefer. After a few days of normal use, the Yahoo mail page newspaper came in lower-case letters and images unreadable. I went to the Firefox Options, once again the Options, then content. All fonts have been at least 14. I unchecked the option to leave the web sites chose their own fonts but always get tiny sign in page. When I copy and past the Yahoo mail URL in Internet explorer, the Yahoo login page is normal in size. I uninstalled FF 6.0.1 and downloaded FF 7.0.1 but who gave the same microscopic text. Hello

have you done a Windows Update? Would be useful, as otherwise I suggest you remove internet explorer, download from microsoft with the mozilla and reinstall.
But my opinion: IE7 is not worthy of the sentence then, just remove the IE and stay with Firefox, it s my humble OPINION the best browser (it s free) and my feeling is that firefox's IE more flexible and faster then.

  • When printing a web page using Internet Explorer, the printed document is a mirror image.

I have HP Officejet Pro L7780 and Windows 7 64-bit operating system. When I print a page of a Web site that is in PDF using Internet Explorer, the printed page is a mirror image.  If I print the same page of Firefox, the page prints fine.

Also, I recently put my husbands computer so he could also print to this printer via the network.  When I printed an email on my printer from a computer, it is also printed as a mirror image.

I assumed that you helped the mny users, that's why I waited long before I asked again.  Thank you.  I assigned added another printer driver using your instructions.  It worked.  I'm now able to print correctly.  Thank you!

  • Why do images not display correctly in internet explore

On some websites, I get an icon that is displayed instead of the image that is supposed to be there

    Hi KeonLeaf,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.

After the description of the question, I understand that the images are not displayed correctly when you use Internet Explorer on the Windows 7 computer.

Websites that were designed for earlier versions of Internet Explorer may not display correctly in the current version. However, you can often improve spotted a Web site in Internet Explorer by using a new feature called compatibility view.

I suggest you to refer to the help article and check if it helps.
