RAM Preview plays all audio?

So I import a file audio, tried MP3 and wave and convert audio to keyframes, but when I saw RAM he himself stops a few seconds in. In this case, the audio clip is more than a minute long, but preview ram retains a loop a few seconds in. What gives?

READ the FAQ on the homepage of this forum or do a search. This is probably the question most common newbie we got here. Listen to audio you need to do a ram preview. The space bar does not have a ram preview. Use the Preview Panel or the 0 on the numeric keypad.

You have to start with the basics. AE is not a program, you can just launch and start using it. You must learn the basics first.

  • RAM Preview plays is not in real time on the new Macbook Pro

    Hello world

I have problems getting after effects to play the video in real time in AE CS6. I use a brand-new Macbook 2015 Pro 13 "retina with a dual core 3.1 GHz processor Intel Core i7 and 16 GB of RAM. I just made sure my copy of AE CS6 is up-to-date with the latest updates (11.0.4.2), and yet I am unable to read the video or animation in real time using the RAM Preview to any size greater than 25% in the Viewer.  If I try to play a video clip of 29,976 fps, the framerate tops out at about 17-18 frames per second. When I press 0 for the RAM Preview, it starts caching the images such as normal, but even after a loop continuous cadence comes not near real-time. The audio plays fine, but the video starts immediately behind. I can't even a scene of simple great test of a form of retouching layer move on the playback screen in the real time RAM Preview.

That said, I can get it to play in real time if I reduce the viewer up to 25%. But obviously, I won't be limited to work in quarter resolution on a new laptop. My last Macbook pro from 2008 and completely across the well treated RAM previews, being able to cache images and play them back in real time without problem.  I have to assume that there may be a function that I'm missing or something goes wrong, unless I just grossly overestimated the capabilities of my new laptop.  But surely, it should be able to manage simple video playback. I had no problem using first on this computer, then it can of course deal with the video.  Any help you can offer would be much appreciated, because this problem becomes really frustrating!

Just for fun, try the trial of CC 2015 and see if it behaves correctly.

  • RAM Preview plays not the first image

Anyone having problems with previewing Ram replaying from a different place in the timeline other than the first image? I've seen what's happening regularly since the last update (2014.2). I checked my preferences, and made sure nothing is accidentally selected to play the last image key or something weird. But no I'm on a Mac Pro, running from Yosemite, I googled and saw nothing. I have not trashed my preferences again, because I'm not sure that it's a matter of preference and God... If I have to rebuild my rendering implemented once more...

So, to give you more details.

-J' hit '0' on my keyboard to launch a ram preview

-On SOUNDS that it is made each image in order

-When I type '0' again for reading, it starts from a random location usually 2-5 seconds since the beginning of the timeline.

-It will make a loop back and then play from the beginning of the timeline.

It does not use the line mark current time or anything that would make sense. It's random, but shortly after the start. I suspect he pulls a pre-comp nested key frame information and use it, but there is not a keyframe in the computer that I realized.

I do not have the "current time" box checked in the Ram preview options, and there are 0 skip frames in this setting as well.

If anyone has any ideas what it can be... I'd be happy.

  • Strange problem where first Pro CC plays ALL audio back with echo. Everyone has experienced this before?

For some reason today when I opened a project I've been working recently in Adobe first CC, I found that all of the audio plays back with an echo. Each sequence, each original audio and video file synchronized, in several projects too. All this reading in the source monitor and on the timeline with enough echo I hear him linger a moment after I stop playback (it does not seem out of sync, does that echo hail to her). It is with a helmet and through my computer directly (I'm working on a Yosemite iMac running).

I was editing this project recently and had not this problem - the strange part is that I can export properly without the echo, that his relief, but it would be nice to hear and edit the audio right on the timeline.

Someone knows something like that? I'm browsing the audio settings to see if something was changed accidentally but don't really have to see anything in particular. Hope it's one of these bizarro problems fluke that attaches magically from one day to the next...

    SOLVED

I was able to find a plugin for this EQ program audio stupid I had installed and thought I had completely deleted. It was called 'Hear', and I deleted the plugin and all components. Here, the sound issue disappeared.

Thanks for all the ideas and solutions!

  • Walkman play all audio files.

All my audio files are in the walkman. including my recordings. My whatsapp audios. How to hide?

    Try this link

Worked for me. But you can appearently send .nomedia file via bluetooth. I put in a rar file and then sent via bt then it extracted in the media of whatsapp folder.

There are also a few apps that do the same thing. Search playstore for nomedia you will find a test lot choose you.

The fault is in fact belongs to other applications on this issue. They should hide their media to the players themselves. I mean that their developers should do.

  • audio distortion during RAM Preview

I worked the last 4 months on the same computer, working on similar animations, nothing changed a lot... so what's going on.

    * In the RAM Preview, my audio now resembles an overload robot.* *.

I can't find similar questions on internet to understand this myself so I ask in this forum. I have not changed anything important which could have changed my computer. I use:

    MacPro model end of 2013

    -with an SSD

    -32 GB RAM DDR3

    -3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5

    -AMD over-pants D300 2048MB GPU

But I don't think that it is hardware

Old projects that I've worked before are trying to do the same thing. It was only during my RAM Preview. Simple audio preview sounds perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong with the audio file because others who worked before will not work now.

    Someone had the same problem?

I can't tell you what the problem was, but I found the reset for all my preferences, tried and it worked. It solved my problem, but I wish I could find the source because 2 months ago, I created my settings. I allocated more memory, changed a few settings, but not in the last two days that would have created the problem. So I was just puzzled. I would like to know what the hell this causes so I don't run into it yet.

  • Slow bed RAM Preview

Hi, my RAM Preview plays my video file (.mov) slow. It renders at the appropriate speed, then it is certainly a problem for RAM Preview. A few others have had this problem and fixed it, but none of their fixes worked for me.

I tried to restart my computer, purging my cache, and ensuring that the frame rate is in the composition settings, video settings and RAM Preview settings "film". None of them have worked for me.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You will need to provide more details, System specs, video codec, etc., but many users have had this problem with Mac OS El Capitan.

Try the AE 13.6.1 update that comes, it solved my problems of RAM Preview.

I used to be able to play just the audio I selected in the spectral frequency display, now it plays all audio data no matter what. So, here's an example of my audio selected (is it not beautiful?), however, he plays through him, as if nothing is selected. It makes audio mastering very difficult given that I can't listen to specific artifacts. I already tried turning on and off the power, but as far as I know, that it is a simple problem that can be changed in the preferences. Any ideas? Please help me.

  • Video will not start RAM, Audio-only preview play

Processor: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB

    16 GB of Ram

    Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10

    After Effects Version: CS6 10.0.4.2

OK, so let's say you make a simple animation, like a circle moving from the left side of the screen in the Center with an audio track (or not at all). Hit the RAM Preview, it will make the animation. However, reading, audio is played from the beginning, and then the animation takes about 3 seconds, where the circle has already entered into the composition. Now, if a loop is executed after playing the full preview, then only I will see the circle enter the screen from left to right.

Also, if I check the box of full-screen, I'll see it animate from the beginning. Box info to a point says "Existing keyframes lock" and then, after 3 seconds, said 'Play on 3 seconds'. It doesn't mean that it is playing in real time, etc..

So during the first 3 seconds, I don't see any animation, and then he comes back after that point. I dumped cache and everything, restarted my computer and reset my preferences. Someone has an idea of what's going on?

  • Audio imported video m4v jumps into the RAM Preview and make, but in the original film file

I import a video file .m4v in my After Effects project, and the sound jumps all random another second in RAM Preview and render output. However, the original .m4v video file plays audio very well when I play it on its own outside of After Effects.

I use after effects CC 2014 on OS X 10.11.6. The video file plays fine in QuickTime and VLC.

    Any ideas? Thank you!

AE does play very well with the audio compressed; Sometimes it is fine, other times it isn't.  Use a different application to export the audio as wav or aiff.  Import it into AE.  Disable the current speaker to your audio icon.  Add audio exported to the comp.  See if it works.

  • RAM Preview with Audio

How to get a preview of the video with sound (when I press 0), more than 30 sec long? If it is possible at all the... It wtites I don't have not enough resources for the RAM to listen to... seconds audio, even when I select a range on 2-3 minutes...

If you need more time with your ram previews adjust the Zoom Ratio factor or to 25% magnification and resolution on Auto or set a resolution of 1/4. If that always gets you not what you want to set ignore frames at 1 or 2 in the Preview Panel. It is the only way to measure in the preview.

If you use AE to edit you do not work effectively. AE is for the creation of pictures and short clips. A project of more than a few seconds may be better served by break up in scenes or short sequences, to make the pieces, then editing and polishing in Premiere Pro or your NLE of choice. I even cut animations of dynamic text (often improperly called lyric video) upward in one or two phrases or sentences, then do the final cut in first. It helps me to do in about half the time.

  • Problem with Audio and RAM Preview

    Hello

I'm fairly new to After Effects, and I quickly fell on an Audio problem.
OK, so I have a single pre composed sequence, and while in that order I can hear just fine video excerpts (press space), I can also listen to extracts Audio Only very well (by pressing (.) on the numeric pad keyboard) and I

can also make a RAM with video and audio preview as well. But let's say that, when the RAM Preview load, and he started playing (video and audio, fine), let's say I want to pause the video in 10 seconds. I could do that just by pressing space, but then when I want to continue previewing RAM (by pressing 0, or by clicking on the icon), it is starts playing from the beginning and not from the position of my head from reading, when I stopped (which is 10 seconds).

So my question is: how to take back the position of my head of reading RAM Preview?

Keep in mind that I could continue the preview by pressing the SPACEBAR or (.) on the numeric keypad, but who would take just (in the first case), audio or video playback (in the second case).

    Thanks in advance.

  • warning "RAM Preview has 2 or more images" after audio cleanup after effects CC 2014 (13.0)

The After Effects team are investigating a bug in after effects CC 2104 (13.0) where a memory leak during audio cleanup (hold CTRL or command all rubbing). This leak memory can possibly consume RAM everything is free, which can cause the warning message "after effects error: Preview RAM 2 or more images for reading needs" when you try to open a RAM Preview.

While we look at this problem, you can prevent the leakage of bug and memory is not a cleaning with audio. In case of problems you can solve it by closing and restarting After Effects.
