I did once try and install but I got was a never-ending startup sequence (the BONES do not start) and I had to restore a backup copy of previous Vista before installing SP1. So it's just a quick question: can I go directly to Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1 without having all the service packs currently? I don't have a lot of free time to do a clean install and restore programs and games, and configure them.

  I've just set up Vista Home Basic service pack on an old Machine (ECS K7S5A motherboard Chipset SIS 735, 1 GB Ram BFG Tech GeForce Nvidia 128 MB AGP graphics card) was designed to use as "bench" machine '. I can't either start or reinstall Vista. My BACK 6.22 with some diagnostic utilities, and they say the system is OK. I need to start from scratch with a low-level, FDISK, format, reformat and reinstall or can I go to my Acer laptop and create a system recovery or repair CD and use it on that old car? Thanks in advance for any help

  Memory only, I think that both Vista and Windows 7 will (automatically) create a very small partition for the copied configuration files * IF * you are installing to a drive hard new or unformatted, otherwise the installation files simply copied on the hard disk that created partitions on it and that has been formatted.  It is not something that I remember all do with all facilities so I guess Vista will do it for you if it was necessary?

  What other Windows Vista or Windows 7, media you have in the way of DVD (or CD), if you do not have another media that crash as soon as he's been trying to get started on your machine?  The CD XP Home went to O.K. I know.

• Windows Vista Home Basic Edition does not detect networks wireless scope.

  running Windows Vista Home Basic on my counter top and it will not locate wireless... period. I know at least 3 in the box and he is always telling me that there are no wireless networks detected.

  On a side note, I installed my router wireless on my laptop (so I know it works!) and have successfully installed on my desktop as well (or if the installation wizard tells me) the top round works on vista premium and office is vista home basic, but for some reason, the office is always telling me there are no available wireless networks. • Music Flder removed in Vista Home Basic. Need to access shadow copies...

  Hello.  Recently, I deleted one of my music files in my user folder, and it went into deletion permanent, even without pressing SHIFT + DELETE, the file being too large.  So, I hear about how Vista Business, Enterprise and Ultimate can access shadow copies of files.  The question is, is it possible to do this in Vista Home Basic, by using all means and if not, are there any REASONABLE alternatives?

  This can also occur if the installation files are broken or missing for the program which may be reason for the program does not appear in uninstall a program from the list.

  I've got system of an individual that I need to reload for him. He got his COA stuck inside his laptop but, of course, it has long lost CD to install (Vista Home Basic).

  My question is, can I upload an image of the Microsoft site anywhere. I don't see how it could be interpreted as an attempt to hack, but maybe I'm missing something. I hate to drag a torrent engine.
