Random disconnects / reconnects WRT400N
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and answer my question (I hope). That being said, I have a WRT400N wireless router that connects to the cable modem that we use for the internet. This router connects to one computer and another router, which is another linksys, former model (EZXS88W), and who connects to a console Xbox 360, a laptop and a Wireless (Belkin) hub. Today, I have experienced quick disconnects and reconnects not only on the laptop, but the Office upstairs is as well. Disconnections are short and probably unnoticeable to the average user, but I play a game that requires constant access, and the xbox 360 fact as well for multiplayer. I have determined, that it couldn't be my wireless belkin hub or my old linksys, since my real connection is not lost when it is on the laptop, then it had to be the modem from the isp or the WRT400N. I gave to my ISP a call, and they did a diagnostic and reset on the modem, so everything should be good. True that, everything WAS fine, for about an hour. It disconnected after a bit of time, but I looked fast enough to see the 400N was literally stopping and restarting. The last disconnection occurred 16 minutes ago, and I see if there are any timed sequence to disconnect her. They are less common now than they were before, but it's really a concern towards the work and play games and if anyone of you has an answer to what to do, or have seen this before and know a solution you will have my gratitude. I have put my explanation for easier understanding.
Long story shortened: WRT400N connects to a desktop computer and another router EZXS88W. This router connects to a wireless belkin hub, an Xbox 360 and a laptop computer. Ago intermittent disconnects followed by a reconnection is more than 2 minutes later. It cannot be the wireless hub or the old router, because there is no literal disconnect, as well as the office is affected as well. To add to evidence that the 400N is the culprit, I have seen it perform a restart.
Again, thank you for your time. I will be waiting for responses.
I could solve the problem. It turned to be a program on one of the computers had not closed properly and has been hogging bandwidth. Thanks for your help, however!

I have the USB to say alert that it has disconnected and then moments later it seems to reconnect with the usual USB alert. Occasions, it seems to work for hours without the problem return.
It is a sign that the reader reaches the end of his life?
Thanks for your help
Hello
Perhaps the reader reaches the end of the life, but at the moment it is not easy to say...
Have you tried another cable to the HARD drive? Maybe it's just a problem of cable s.
In addition, you should check the HARD drive on another computer or laptop. So you can make sure if it s a USB issue or not.Welcome them

random disconnections for my wrt54g2 V1 router
This had happened for a few months and I didn't really mind until it disconnects worsen.
usually, when I turn on the router and started using the internet, it randomly disconnects once. My Wireless SSID will disappear and loss of the connection. and no matter how I update the SSID will not yet be released.
the only way to regain internet access is to re - feeding on the router, if the SSID will be broadcast again.
My wrt54g2 V1 router had recently upgraded to the latest firmware version, 1.0.04)is. but still disconnects as usual.
However the disconnects happen only once, after u re - turn on the router, you will not cut again.
but after turning off my laptop and use it again a few hours later, the same thing happens again, a random disconnection and got to re - feeding on the router...
can someone help me on how to stop the disconnection of the router?
Thank you.
Kind regards
Leon
Try the following settings as well as in the router for wireless connectivity:
# Open the browser and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1 which will open the router configuration page.
# Bring back the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) of 1500 to 1400 or less (usually found on the main page / basic configuration of your router). Here is the link to determine and implement the right size MTU: http://www6.nohold.net/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?vw=1&docid=fbf8e8564632422eaa8ea80bf9dcba64_386.xml&pid=80&re...
# Click on wireless tab select the channel wireless at 6, 9 and 11. Click on save settings.
Settings wireless #Adjust the following:
~ ~ Reduced from 100 to 75 beacon interval
~ ~ Lower the threshold of fragmentation of 2346 to 2306
~ ~ Lower 2347 to 2307 RTS threshold
Then reconnect to the wireless network and then check the connectivity status...

Is there a software update for Airport Extreme? Random disconnect
Is there a software update for Airport Extreme? Random disconnection, have to keep unplugging it, done the hard reset, no change
Is there a software update for Airport Extreme?
No, if you ask for something 'new '.
You don't specify what model of AirPort Extreme you have, but if it's the current 802.11ac 'tour'-shaped version, the last update of the firmware was well over a year. Make sure you have the version installed on the AirPort Extreme 7.7.3 .
If you have an old 'flat' 802.11n or version "square" AirPort Extreme firmware update 7.6.4, who is 3 years and more.
Please specify on the version you have on your AirPort Extreme.

- I have the power options set to High Performance.
- I installed inSSIDer and I'm the only broadcast network on the 5 GHz bandwitdth (so there is absolutely no interference whatsoever)

Question:
My laptop to find < 50 meters from my wireless router (no walls between the two) and I connected on 5 GHz bandwidth. I get random disconnects all along the day make a red X on the network icon in my taskbar. The only way to correct 'temporary', it's completely restart my computer.
On the other hand, my mother's laptop is in the other room, also connected to the 5 GHz range, ran into problems of ZERO at all.
What could be the problem? If anyone else knows this problem, are the only two (solutions)
- "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option checked
OR (if this does not work)
- 802.11n mode Disable

I bought a R7000 now a week ago. My other router continues wobbly on me, could not take any charge for an amount of time and was generally an unhappy experience.
Now to my problem with the R7000: I keep having random disconnects. Meanwhile, the internet totally cut. The genius tells me that my internet is disconnected. Then he resumed his normal breast like 5 or maybe 8 seconds. This happens from time to time three times ever. I tried the upgrade of the firmware and custom firmware. Any help for me? Thank you!
For those who have R7000, please try to use the beta fw 1.0.5.62.

1390 WLAN - connects but disconnects / reconnects frequently
I have an Inspiron 9400 that I got from a friend, and there the 1390 WLAN card. I downloaded drivers [1390] Dell and have no problem to connect to my network (any level of security, is released not not, list of exclusive MAC, etc.).
However, I can't get anywhere near my full bandwidth speed. I have a 15 Mbps per connection, and I have the clock at least 1 Mbit with all tests. It is quite frustrating. I played with the settings in the software provided with the driver, but nothing helped.
To try to find an alternative solution, I thought I would try the other driver on the page driver drivers Inspiron 9400 - applies for the wireless 1500 and "_Wireless (US) WLAN card. I am able to connect with it, and more to reach near my full bandwidth speed. A problem with this driver is my connection disconnects / reconnects instantly, and in this case every two or three minutes.
I have several other wireless devices (PDA, laptop, etc.) who have NO problem using my wireless access point. Friends come and use my TI with no problems. This laptop just wants to act up for some reason any.
I tried to play with all the settings in the driver software, but nothing helped. I do not see why he did this; I did extensive research on Google, as well as research here and came up empty. I need to get working as soon as POSSIBLE for this laptop's wireless and played with him for days now. I write here as a last resort and hope someone can help me. After all my research, I was unable to find anyone who has this problem.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I appreciate any input on the matter.

Windows 7 gives random disconnections
Hello..
I've been using this computer for about 6 months, I assembled myself and install windows xp on it... I used windows xp 32-bit for about 2 months, since using xp, I'd never disconnections or any other type of questions... but when I passed to windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, then all started to happen... I get the Bosd randomly (once in 10 days, sometimes after a week) every time with diffrenet error... I reinstalled my windows and installed all the drivers updated from the manufacturer's website... but no luck... Disconnections can happen any time anywhere... last week after using pc all day, I decided to stop, I clicked normally shutdown (stop) and windows was going to stop it all of a sudden, he showed a Bosd... its been almost 4 months I get disconnections after all 10 to 15 days...
I have memory of test with 9 assists run, I have cpu stress tested, checked two hard disk with diagnostic tools. All results are OK...
A few weeks earlier, I saw 3 disk errors in Event Viewer indicating the device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block. but since then these mistakes never appeared again...There is something more that I would like to share, there are 6 USB 2.0 Ports Ports and 2 USB 3.0 on MB. I use the mouse & keyboard on Usb 2.0 ports. every time I have plug something into the extension of the power or remove it (for example: cell phone charger or speaker switch) my keyboard and the mouse disconnects and reconnects automatically in 3 to 4 seconds... I used the same peripherals on ports 3.0 and it works great, I tried to change the extension of power power cable from the system... but this thing happens again, so I would like to know, - is this normal?

Firefox randomly disconnects me sites
For about a month now, Firefox (18.0.2) has been randomly connect to the sites I WANT to remember me (for example sites Facebook, Amazon, with the forums that I visit every day of work). He drives me crazy and it did NOT used to do this.
It seems more to connect to these sites when I saw a Flash video. Help please?
Firefox on a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit 18.0.2.
Patti
The problem of is disconnected from sites has been set after the update for Firefox 19.
I had given up and resigned myself to having to connect several times per day. I tried deleting the sqlite file, but it did not help at all.
You must understand the difference as to where I had to connect. Usually if you check a box on Facebook or web forums that says "remember me", and as you exit your browser and go back, he actually remember without having to log in again. This is NOT the same thing as you signing in to your account to change settings, etc.
Thanks for your help, but it looks like he had something in the FF18 version, which was the cause for me.

MacBook Pro won't feed - need to disconnect/reconnect the battery.
I have a 'early 2011' MacBook Pro 17 "which does not illuminate when the power switch is pressed. He worked normally in the last time it was used.
I'm a PC I / specialist t so I did some fault finding. Here are the results and measures, I tried:
- Power button and no indication button has been pressed.
- Button on the side and he said fully charged battery.
- Adapter a/c and LED power connector attached LED lights up in green as it is supported.
- You press the power button - still no indication of any attempt to power on.
- Let Reset SMC pressing SHIFT, control, Option, and power switch. All released. You press the power button - still no indication of any attempt to power on.
- Power button which is held down for 15 seconds, released, then no hurry once - no change.
- Disconnected a/c power.
- Removed the back cover.
- Battery disconnected from the system board connector.
- Connected a/c adapter and power button pressed - no change.
- Disconnected the a/c adapter.
- Back in the connected battery system board connector.
- Joint a/c adapter and the system performed a reset, then IPL upward and ran normally.
- System "Shut down" and then press the power button - would not be back.
- Removed the a/c adapter and pressed the power button - still wouldn't back off.
- Disconnected a/c adapter, disconnected the battery, battery reconnected to the system board. Power button - will not turn on.
- Repeat the procedure which worked previously - a/c offline, disconnected battery system board, connected a/c, press button power (no signs of activity), disconnected a/c, battery reconnected to the governing body of the system, reconnected a/c and it reset and power!
- Let system and then "reset" (instead of closing) - it restarts correctly.
- Shut down the system and then I tried to power - will not turn on.
- Bottom line: it seems that the procedure which will get the system starts, after it is closed: disconnected a/c, disconnecting the battery system board, connected a/c, press power button (no signs of activity), disconnected a/c, reconnected battery to the system board, reconnected a/c and it resets and starts.
OK, so you MacBook Pro experts out there... what seems to be the problem and what measures would you recommend I take?
THX,
Jeff

Have to disconnect/reconnect to the router
I have a clear-cut problem: occasionally, about once a day or two, suddenly I can't load a web page. I can always solve it to disconnect and reconnect to the network, even if it shows me as connected (with five bars).
Based on the other computers in the House, I concluded that the router sometimes has a little problem. It shuts off and then on again. Reconnect automatically other computers (ASUS victory 8 machine and my Nexus 7), but mine does not.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
Thank you

Computer constantly disconnects / reconnect to the wireless network
original title: vista renamed wirelessnetwork House and now computer laptop will constantly disconnect and then reconnect a few more seconds later
Every since rename home network wireless computer laptop under vista constantly disconnects and reconnects to the network.
Hi, Camstaylor,
1. it's not your router, but it comes to your network
2. the network card to the same place is shown router because you go out through a router
3. to change the network name 2 for what you want, open Network Center and simply click on the icon/image(for home network it is picture of house) left on the network name and the name of the new type
You can then safely delete the old unused network

T410s disconnection/reconnection
Hi, I have a relatively new T410s that was working very well, until recently. A few nights ago I noticed that my Wi - Fi kept disconnect and then reconnect without reason. Can someone tell me in layman's terms what is the problem and how to fix it? Thank you!
