    Since the purchase of my R630 - 13L, sometimes the brightness on the screen to not appararent reason would begin to thin to the point where the screen is saturated and the graphics download "upset".

    As randomly as it started, it ended. I thought it was some kind of sensor related to the camera built-in that adjusts automatically the brightness based on the lighting conditions, but then again I wasn't changing my environment I see not all the controls in the display panel.

    The problem now is that when it saturate the display (as it is now) it stays on overdrive.

    Everyone knows this?
    Any suggestions or ideas?

    Hello

    The brightness of the display can be changed using the Fn + F5 (decrease) key and Fn + F6 (increase).

    Have you checked this key combination? Does that help?

  • My screen is randomly display distorted graphics and then freeze it or restart itself?

    The problem seems to occur randomly, sometimes, the computer may be for a few hours before that happens, sometimes within a few minutes. So far, it just happened so I was browsing the web using IE (although I could not test at length to make sure that it is the only time where what happens).

    The screen will deform with horizontal blue lines and fixes other random colors. After a few minutes, the screen returns to normal, but the computer froze and is inadmissible. Twice so far (but), the system restarts and gives the screen "windows did not shut down correctly.

    So far the problem did not appear in safe mode. The event viewer displays all errors happening at the time that the problem occurs. I suspect, it may be a problem with the graphics card, but have no idea how I would be able to test this without buying a new and replace it.

    Anyone has ideas or offer any help?

    Thank you

    Thank you for your help. I managed to remove the monitor, which leaves the cable or the graphics card. Might be time for the repair shop, I think! 9 s

  • Display for W7 screensaver path is not an option - how can I get that back?

    I have upgraded from XP to W7 and am very happy with the way that much faster and better W7 is, even on the same hardware.

    I have a disappointment.  In XP, you can choose the option to display the path of the images on the screen saver.  I really liked that we use all our vacation photos, and it's nice to remember exactly where they were taken.

    Is there a work around to bring back this feature?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi walkergeoff,

    2. now click on screen saver. Under the screen saver settings, select the pictures in the screen saver Option.

    OK, after help on another thread I managed to get this script

    r_text [2] = "I was for a walk."

    r_text [6] = "California dreaming, such a winter day;
    var i = Math.floor (7 * Math.random ())

    document. Write (r_text [i]);

    who will work on webpages when updated, but I need it to operate when a button is pressed and displayed in a text field in my pdf

    I'm a total noob with javascript only to start learning today so as much help that pos will be great thanks in advance

    Instead of this line:

    document. Write (r_text [i]);

    You need to use something like this:

    this.getField("Field_name").value = r_text [i];

    Or if you use it as the custom text field calculation script:

    Event.Value = r_text [i];

  • Random display of odd in IE error

    Hello

    Freaky real problem here. I have this interactive map that plays a video of intro after that it loads then displays a chart of the card. For some reason any in IE 7, all them twice after the video plays the loaded chart are just grey. Here is a link:

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/WP-SRV/specials/WP/teenshopping/map.htm

    I can't understand why this is happening as far as I can tell this isn't a failure load the image, or it would be white not grey. And why this happens randomly I should something space outside has one seen this before?

    Final word:

    Wow, that was a weird one:

    I used the trick of copying bitmap do smooth dynamic images. I did many times without problem. The difference this time is that I did under a flvPlayback game. It was not really bad and has worked in most of the browsers and plugins flash 8 +. The conflict was only people with IE7 IE and flash 9 only would see that about 1 in 20 times. People with IE6 and flash 9 would be a little more often. People with IE6 and flash 8 he saw every time. I ended up incorporating images in the swf file and placing to smooth lines. Really, he has increased the initial charge but solved my problem.

    I had just never heard of a problem of cross browser flash. This is one of the main reasons I like coding in flash write once run anywhere. I hope that people can find it and can help in the future because I couldn't find anything to help yesterday.

  • Random display of the results of the query (no repeat)

    First of all, I'm new to ColdFusion, so please forgive me if the answer to this is blantantly obvious, if not totally impossible. Here's my problem.

    I queries a database with several hundreds records. The query will return an average of 10-15 records. Then, I want to display 2 of these files at random. I have so much work. The only problem is that every so often, the 2 folders that are displayed are the same record. I need avoid this outcome. The 2 folders should be always different.

    Here is a simplified version of my code:

    < CFQUERY "queryname" datasource = name = 'Datasourcename' >
    SELECT * FROM residential
    WHERE ListingOfficeName = 'Steve Realty.
    < / CFQUERY >

    < cfset randRecordsList = ">
    < cfloop from = '1' to '2' index "i" = = >
    < cfset randVal = randRange(1,queryname.recordCount) >
    < cfset randRecordsList = listAppend (randRecordsList, randVal) >
    < / cfloop >

    < cfloop list = "" #randRecordsList # "index 'i' = >"
    < cfoutput >
    #queryName.FieldName1 #.
    #queryName.FieldName2
    #.
    #queryName.FieldName3 # < br >
    < / cfoutput >
    < / cfloop >

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Here's the general idea. You can handle the specifics.

    generate a list of numbers.
    maxnum = 15;
    numlist = "";
    for (i = 1; I lte maxnum; I = i + 1)
    numlist = listappend (numlist, i);

    randomnums will be two random numbers
    RandomNums = "";
    x = true;
    While (x is true) {}
    ThisNum = plageAleatoire (1, maxNum);
    If (ListFind (RandomNums, ThisNum) is false)
    RandomNums = ListAppend (RandomNums, ThisNum);

    If (ListLen (RandomNums) 2)
    x = false;
    }

  • Firefox crashes randomly displaying webistes

    Only at random, 13 Firefox crashes when visiting a Web site. I checked for malware, and there is none. Safe mode means the same question. In addition, there are a few problems where Firefox would just stop responding. He wouldn't say no does not, but the program just hangs and I have to go into the Task Manager and kill the process. The new flash update would have something to do with it? Flash 11.3 due to serious problems with Firefox.

    This is a problem with the Flash plugin

    You can check the problems caused by a recent update of Flash 11.3 and possibly upgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.

  • Alienware X 51 R2 - cut randomly display

    Just recently my computer has turned randomly off screen. This only happens when I turn it on for the first time after a stop down. It will load Windows, turned on until I try to load a game or an application. After loading something, about 5 minutes on my screen turns off but my PC is still on. I checked that it is NOT the monitor that I plugged an Xbox and played multiple games on the subject.

    After the screen turns off, I'll do a hard cock down by holding the power button. After starting BACK I am able to continue to do my normal things without him turning off. Don't know what it could be? And even once, it happens only when that I start after a stop down. But after that it works normally. Any ideas or anyone knows it?

    The only thing I did is change the HDMI cable from the PC to the monitor. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Remember this computer has an integrated video card (HDMI to half the system superior) and discrete video card (HDMI at the bottom half). The monitor must be connected to the bottom half.

    You can also try updating the video driver from our Web site.

    Let me know how it goes!

  • Facebook pages randomly display vacuum in firefox. Work in IE Tab

    After the last Firefox update, facebook pages often, but not always, appears completely blank. It is the only site I visit that has this problem. Facebook works fine when I use IE tab in firefox.

    If reloading or bypassing the cache works (for example Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R) then there is no need to clear the cache and cookies. However, it should not be necessary to do it often.

  • RSS feed of bookmark bar randomly displays only a shadow, no menu

    OK, I have a strange problem which just started occurring after a reload of the OS. When one look at my RSS feed pull-down in the bookmarks bar, they will often open 100% transparent, the only thing visible is the shadow that surrounds it. The menu works always; I can even click on things and it will bring to the top of the page, but as I don't see what it is, I have no idea what I'm clicking. I can get it visible again by the closing and reopening of the drop-down list (sometimes it takes a couple tent).

    Nothing has changed in my profile of browser since I recharged last windows. I reloaded Windows (64-bit 7) once because my secondary HARD drive controller crashed on me and I rebooted windows thinking there is a faulty driver stuck in the operating system (that and get rid of the extra junk during the past years), but later found the motherboard was bad, so I replaced and recharged again (primary is 2 x SSD Raid 0). I am now under this second cooldown and loaded my profile in the same way as before, and I'm getting the question.

    To save and load the profile I did the following: FireFox menu > help > troubleshooting information > Show (profile folder) and then closed FF and copied all the content of the folder in a backup directory. Reloading of the profile is the same process, but copy the files in the profile folder after the closure of FF. I did this on the first reload as well and had no problem, but for some reason any I'm flowing in it now. Seems to happen more in loads of heavy file (such as copying to USB HDD RAID of SSD) transfer. Not really sure if this is related or not.

    Anyway, no idea why this might be implemented?

  • Photos of Vista screensaver file locations

    My laptop is running XP home.  My screensaver will randomly display all my photos in MyPictures\Photos\...  When runnng, each image shows the location of each photo in the upper left of the screen.  On my desktop, running Vista, with the same configuration of screen saver I can't understand how to do so that he can view the same information.

    Sorry, but the screen savers Vista does not have this option.  For some reason, they removed after XP.

    I hope this explains even if it may not be what you wanted to hear.

    Good luck!

  • Monitor display is not properly in Windows XP sp3

    Original title: Windows xp sp3 does not properly

    Hello, I do not know if this issue belong to the material division of the forum. I have an old system who have windows xp sp3. It was working fine until week couple but after a few days when I switched it on the screen is not displayed correctly.

    All the colors randomly displays as a spot on the screen and the other letters in a sentence is missing. I tried in safe mode with just visible in debug mode, but it doesn't happen in the journal to the screen. I can not even reinstall windows xp. Now I'm not able to understand if it's the problem of the operating system or a malfunction of certain components of the computer. Please help me.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    Method 1:

    I suggest you to start the computer using the VGA Mode.

    (a) restart the computer

    (b) press F8

    (c) in the start menu

    (d) choose the option

    (e) activate the VGA Mode

    This option starts Windows in mode 640 x 480 using the current video driver (not Vga.sys). This mode is useful if the display is configured to a setting that the monitor cannot display.

    Reference:

    To start the computer in safe mode

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true

    Method 2:

    If you are able to start the computer using the VGA Mode, you can perform a system restore to the date where the computer worked well.

    How to restore Windows XP to a previous state

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/306084

    If you use system restore when the computer is in safe mode, you can't undo the restore operation. However, you can run System Restore again and choose a different restore point if any. You can also create Safe Mode system restore points. System Restore affects the Windows system files, programs and registry settings that have been changed recently. It can also make changes to scripts, files, batch and other types of executable files on your computer. System Restore does not affect personal files, such as e-mail, documents, or photos, so it cannot help you restore a deleted file.

    If the problem persists, you may need to contact the manufacturer of the monitor to the stand.

  • Is it possible to prevent people randomly to submit an Eloqua?

    Hello

    I have a scenario that I need to set up a form so that only the existing contacts Eloqua can send the form.

    Is there a way to get there?

    Thank you!

    ADI

    I see three possibilities, depending on whether you care if people randomly, even see the landing page or not.

    If you don't want to even visit the landing page, you can use JavaScript to make a visitor research data as soon as they arrive on the page. If research confirms that the person is an existing contact, then do nothing. If this isn't the case, then redirect the visitor to another page.

    The downside there is that Outlook not being able to see the landing page when they already own an Eloqua cookie. If they have deleted their cookies or for any other reason, they are currently not cookied they will be redirected.

    Another method I can think of works if you will worry if people randomly display the page, you don't want them to submit successfully. Again, this would be done with JavaScript on the page - attach a function to the change event on the email of the form field. When the message goes, do a database search to see if someone with this email address is already in Eloqua (note it works or not they have a cookie). If the address is not in the database, you may do whatever you like - disable the button submit or redirect to another page, or whatever.

    Finally, you could just do all within Eloqua using conditional processing steps. To implement a condition on all of your processing steps - I think that it will work as Tim suggested to just check if their ID exist, but if it does not work, you can also see if the creation date is in the past. If you like you can put in place a conditional step to redirect people not in the database to an 'access denied' page on presentation or something.

    The only drawback of the method is that people will still be able to submit the form (so it will be saved in Eloqua as a form submission). However, since none of the steps of the treatment runs and their sending the form do nothing - otherwise said, they will not be added to the database or receive follow-up or any emails that you do following the presentation.
