Range of ports Application Tuxedo

Hi all

Is it possible to restrict the tuxedo application to use a specified range of ports while it is & running (except JSL, WSL, GWTDOMAIN)?

Question - the tux request arrives with random ports assigned to the application connection to the DB servers, who sometimes is of WSL, JSL, NWADDR of another application of Tuxedo who was expected to come later on the same box.

I am looking for a way to limit the first application of tux to come within the port range specified for servers. So they do not overlap with other Tux (WSL, JSL, NWADDR).

Thanks in advance.

Hello

You can avoid this problem by ensuring that the ports used by the different Tuxedo system servers (WSL, ISL, GWTDOMAIN, BRIDGE, etc.) out of the range of ephemeral ports for your operating system.  This will ensure the connection of client as in the database that use (ephemeral ports) ports of the source never comes into conflict with one of your server's ports.  In the above example, 12249 and 12251 ports are ephemeral ports, i.e., dynamically allocated ports by the operating system specifically for the initiated client connections source port.

See this section to determine how to change the range of ephemeral ports for your operating system if you need to do.

  • How would open a range of ports?

I play a video game on my computer that requires the use of several ports to open at the same time, but can not find all the information on how to do this when you use the Windows Firewall. I can open the ports one at a time, but it would take a week to watch this range. (Not really, but you know what I mean) So, I guess my question is, "How do I open a beach using the Vista firewall"?

    Hello Vercetian,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.

After researching, I found another question on the same issue:
    It comes from the http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r19700203-Vista-Opening-Multiple-ports-in-Windows-Firewall
This Cable Guy article reiterates that you can apply a list of ranges of ports, IE. format CSV (values) separated by commas. Again, try to create the list in Notepad, then copy - paste of the list for Windows Firewall.

Exceptions can be configured for all or multiple ports

When you configure an exception based on the ports with the current Windows Firewall, you can specify a single TCP or UDP port. With the new Windows Firewall, you can also specify all ports TCP or UDP (for all TCP or all UDP traffic) or a list separated by commas of several ports. To configure the new Windows Firewall for a range of ports, you must specify all the ports in the range. For example, if you want to configure an exception for the range of ports 1090-1095, you must configure the following ports: 1090,1091,1092,1093,1094,1095.

    Hope that answers your question.
Please reply if this solves your problem or if you need further support.

  • RV220W transfer of a range of ports

How can we transfer a port range?

Suppose that I have defined the following service:

    Service: TEST

    Port type: UDP

    From port: 5060

    End port: 5070

and I want to send to a specific IP address. Then, if I create a new port forwarding rule for this service he asked me to specify a unique port number to be used internally as:

    Action: Always allow the

    Service: TEST

    Source IP: no

    Destination IP: 10.0.0.100

    Internal port:?

I want to forward all ports 5060 to 5070 5060 to 5070 internal range.

    How can I do?

I have the same problem with the duty to convey a range of ports to a single ip address. At the moment I can't put the rv220w in the network to test because we are in the middle of the day and I can't take the network down.

    Just a warning:

    * This has not been tested in an active network *.

    I've done the following:

    Go to the firewall.

    Access rules

    Add the new rule:

Type of connection: incoming (wan (internet) > LAN (local area network))

    Action: Always allow the

    Service: 'TEST '.

    Source IP: no

Send to the Server Local (DNAT IP): 10.0.0.100

Press on save and it "appears" to work. Yet once I have not tested myself so just be careful because I don't know if it works correctly now. When I am able to put the router of the network and test this I will follow.

  • Range of ports to be specified in a long list of access

Is there a way to specify a range of ports at the end of a long list of access on a router. I mean something like ' access-list 101 permit tcp 10.10.10.0 0.0.0.255 20.0.0.0 0.0.0.255 eq 6000-6016'.

    Thank you

    You can do something like...

    myACL extended IP access list

    permit tcp 10.10.10.0 0.0.0.255 20.0.0.0 0.0.0.255 gt 5999

    permit tcp 10.10.10.0 0.0.0.255 20.0.0.0 0.0.0.255 lt 6017

    deny tcp 10.10.10.0 0.0.0.255 20.0.0.0 0.0.0.255

Come and play with the parameters 'lt' and 'gt '.

  • Range of Ports RTP endpoints TC changed after registering with CUCM

    Hello community,

We have SX80 endpoints running TC7.3.2 and registered at CUCM 11.

By default the TC ports rank 2326-2487 UDP RTP endpoints. After registering with CUCM, the range of ports have been changed to 16384 to 32766. In my view, WHAT CUCM change the codec settings.

Based on the http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/codec-c-series/tc7/administration-guide/administering-endpoints-running-tc72-on-ucm1051.pdf guide I couldn't see any setting to do with RTP ports.

This is a problem for us, because on the firewall rules, we have configured and fixed ports for points endpoints use the default go 2326-2487 UDP. Because these endpoints and video infrastructure (servers of telepresence, TCS, VCS) are on different networks separated by firewalls. At present, when recording and join the conference bridge there are no media because ports have been changed. When I change the default port range, there is no problem with the media. I can record and call to the conference bridge hosted by a TP server successfully. And if I hit the button refresh on the web GUI of the codec, 16384 to 32766 changes the settings.

Y at - it a setting that I could check on the side of CUCM?

    Thanks in advance.

«By default the endpoints ports rank 2326-2487 UDP RTP TC.» After registering with CUCM, the range of ports have been changed to 16384 to 32766. "I believe THAT CUCM change the codec settings".

Yes, it's true. Once your video endpoint is configured and registered on the CUCM, the CUCM will be more than just the default settings of your endpoint. It depends on the SIP profile has been used and applied for your endpoint. You need to check that the configuration of the SIP profile of the CUCM applied for your endpoint. In your case if it's SX80, check the SIP for SX80 profile and change the start and stop media ports. It comes to the RTP port range.

    In your case:

    Port of bootable media: 2326

    Stop Media Port: 2487

  • How before range of ports on a guest machine using NAT

    Hello

I have a small problem (until now I can think it as small)-I use VMplayer ver 5.0.

Is there a way to do this? or it is a characteristic that can be seen in the next versions.
He could help me in this situation, if we can highlight where this NAT/port forwarding configuration is stored (location of file or registry)

IE version of VMworkstation Linux save such information "/etc/vmware/vmnet8/nat/nat.conf" is there any file like this under windows.

    Thanks in advance.

  • How to set up a range of ports for RTMP

I use Flex version 2 on Windows XP. I created a test that opens a connection over RTMP. The server accepts connections on port 2037 and then seems to breed a new connection for each client on a different port.
After server startup Netstat shows the link below (ns02dt00223 is the name of the network from my laptop):

    TCP ns02dt00223:2037 ns02dt00223:0 TO LISTEN

Then from a Publisher on the topic and send a message:------.

    TCP ns02dt00223:2037 ns02dt00223:0 TO LISTEN
    TCP ns02dt00223:1696 localhost:2037 ESTABLISHED
    TCP ns02dt00223:2037 localhost:1696 ESTABLISHED

And departure after a listener on the theme:

    TCP ns02dt00223:2037 ns02dt00223:0 TO LISTEN
    TCP ns02dt00223:1696 localhost:2037 ESTABLISHED
    TCP ns02dt00223:1720 localhost:2037 ESTABLISHED
    TCP ns02dt00223:2037 localhost:1696 ESTABLISHED
    TCP ns02dt00223:2037 localhost:1720 ESTABLISHED

My question is: is it possible to set up the range of ports used for connections?

I think that this should and is simply how TCP works to assign source ports
    and the destination ports.

Hi, I want to know the porting issues encountered when transfer you applications java blackberry to windows mobile 7 security on every platform.  Please help me.  Thxs

    Hello

what you ask is not that simple if you don't say exactly what you want at the port.

My advice is to make a list with your features in the BlackBerry application and use the MSDN forum (Forum MSDN Windows Phone 7) to read everything you can get in the windows phone 7 operating system platform.

  • Reduce the range of ports for calls crossed - Freeway

    Hi all

We currently have MRA deployment but we have a problem with the "Crossing Media port" range set up in the subzone of the crossing. By default, this interval spend 36000 to 59999, but the FW team must reduce this ports open to 36000-36511. Is this supported?

After change of the range we did call Jabber tests in Internet and the call is established, but we have no audio in both directions, after taking a trace with tcpdump in traffic RTP EXP-C/E see the 480XX range.

Any idea to reduce this range without impact in the service?

    Thank you!

If you go to maintenance > tools > using the Port, you are able to watch all the different ports inbound/outbound highway has set up, if you are able to edit and change of range, there will be a display/change option that will take you directly to the page of configuring these ports.  Don't forget if you are editing a port range, either on the Express-C or - E track, don't forget to check if the other should also be changed.

  • Porting applications to BB10: video rotation and display

I'm porting a game of the PlayBook for the Z10. I had to show a video at the beginning of the game and I had some problems in the past with the PlayBook, but they have been resolved.

Now that I'm the same game to the BB10 platform porting, I find myself with another problem linked to the video. I have exhausted all my options, and I wonder now for your help.

The problem I have is related to the default orientation of the device. While the PlayBook is defaulted to a landscape orientation, the default Z10 the fashionable portrait.

So the simple solution is to simply orientation in the file of the bar - descriptor.xml to landscape and autoOrients set to false, right? Well, this solves almost all the problem of porting the game: the rest of the game works really well, I just had to do something with the accelerometer.

However, the original video appears distorted. Here is a screenshot of the Z10 turned:

Here's my proposal: when you test the game with the default/portrait orientation, the video appears distorted as well, but it appears in the entire screen, fits the dimensions portrait. When you set the ladscape orientation, it always fits the dimensions portrait, but now turned.

Get the properties of the screen through the screen_get_window_property_iv() function call while playing the video returns this:

    SCREEN_PROPERTY_BUFFER_SIZE: {1280, 768}

    SCREEN_PROPERTY_SIZE: {1280, 768}

    SCREEN_PROPERTY_ROTATION: 90

There is apparently no way to change the dimensions of the video playback, or through the mmrenderer library or the screen.

What kind of appeal should I use to change the dimensions of the video, so it appears correctly renderered?

    Thank you.

    Hey there,

    This example:

    https://github.com/BlackBerry/NDK-samples/tree/master/VideoWindow

Contains code that you resize the rect accordingly, depending on window size. May be able to help in your quest.

PS CS 5-6 C++ Automation plugin.

You can buy a Mac (Apple requirement).  The type of Mac would be entirely you.  Once you are in the Apple ecosystem, you can download free Xcode.

There are tons of resources here to help you learn.  The first thing that comes to mind is lynda.com, they have such as Xcode 4 essential training videos.  If you already have a plugin developed Windows, most of this code can be shared on Mac.   Look at the SDK examples with the way in which Windows and Mac share code.

  • Application of force to use specific ports

    Hi all
I have an application that uses random ports.  This could be good behind a typical personal router, but is not possible with the current implementation.  The program is an application of video conferencing with Polycom collaboration, and the app is telepresence m100.
The release notes for m100 indicate a few random ports are used for some protocols.  (See page 21)  Our network firewall device requires a game port assignment and our security protocols do not allow an open machine.  We would also like to use this m100 of telepresence on multiple machines, so a DMZ is not an option.  The application does not allow the user to select specific ports.  Request support with Polycom has been less then helpful (answer: it uses a random port).

So here I wonder if there is a way on XP or 7 to force an application to use ports or range of ports, perhaps 4-5 assigned ports, not 65535.  The nature of the beast requires several ports open, not one.  Also, remote machines will have the same configs, so one of these machines could initiate/receive calls with all the others.

  • WRT1900AC - together open the ports of the specified destination IP address range

Is there a way to WRT1900AC to open a specified range of ports in the range of the specific destination ip address? I can see the options to open a port range to the local IP address on the LAN.

You use a VoIP devcie or is this T-Mobile phones through the router?

If you have a VoIP device as a microcell you can just put its IP address in the DMZ.

You can try to set 0-65535 in triggering Serial Port and see how it works. I use this for Xbox games and reach the status of nat OPEN for games.
