  Hello.. I'm at my wits end trying to "fix" this problem of mine.
  It all started when I got a Ransomeware virus, I downloaded some antivirus software (AVG, kaspersky, Malwarebytes) to remove the virus from my laptop. He worked in a way if my files are gone. I read on a site that I have to reformat my laptop to completely eradicate the virus. So after that Kaspersky did a complete and all analysis, I got an update from Microsoft. Without thinking too much, I clicked on "update & Restart', which was a big mistake I guess... the patch was fine til he was stuck or frozen for 6 hours... looked up Google again and I just did a hard reboot for it. Laptop was fine again til when I tried to uninstall Kaspersky, when suddenly the blue screen appeared with a sad smile, saying: you need to restart... and I clicked on restart. After the reboot, I was sent to the usual display of the Date and time before entering the login screen. That's when I noticed now that my keyboard, touchpad and external mouse doesn't seem to work. I couldn't connect anymore. Looked up on Google on top of many sites for this correction... seems simple enough... all I had to do was either do a system restore, refresh or Reset... you all one by one... and none of them worked. Could not do a refresh or back to zero because the message says I have no drive partition or something and my drivers are blocked... System Restore didn't work cos the message said that an Antivirus program blocked or something and that I should uninstall it antivirus software FIR... But I can't connect even in safe mode... and I checked if it's just like the keyboard material that gives me this problem... It's not like I tested it in the recovery menu or something... can't remember I'm so tired
  So now I'm stuck with a brick of a laptop that only shows me the time and date of the day... I don't know what else to do... and I'm not a computer person... so I hope there is a way to fix this big mess...

  I have a problem with my development settings to find Lr I had problem with virus a couple days where all my files have been encrypted. A so-called virus ransomeware RSA 4096 caused it. They have (support antivirus Norton) has removed the virus for me but they told me that it was nothing I could do with my files photo on my hard drive of the computer. The result was that I had to delete all the files that I had stored. Luckely, I made a back-up, 2 days before (on my external hard drive), my computer has been infected. The problem is, when I try to use my backup catalog I can't access my development settings in images. Everything is zero. RAW file is in place and I can start to change the image of course again, but it's a lot of work. The other strange thing is that all of my files exported JPG also appears in the catalog and I don't really know why... Maybe I'm an amateur, but I would like help, because it frustrates me :-(

  Could you try to open the other catalogs (recent) backup of your external drive.

  It is possible that the virus has infected the backup too.

  Find your external drive for catalogs. Search for "*.lrcat " and see if it returns multiple catalogs.

When I want to move to the trash the .dmg, it won´t let me, saying that another application is using these files. I n ' t´know what to do, I downloaded an Anti Virus but it didn t work.

  Please NEVER install any antivirus, cleaning or another third-party utility maintenance on OS X. OS X is extremely safe and simply updated day will last probably years. In most situations, using antivirus, compensation or other similar applications will create more problems than they ever solve.

  However you have downloaded something like advertising software that can create a problem. My suggestion is to run a report of EtreCheckof your system. We then look for obvious problems. It's how you receipt of the e-mails apparently yourself - spam with Zip files is still prevalent, but usually he pretends to be an invoice or other document.
