TV tuner.  The TV tuner may display the signal from my cocoon via its product called WinTV.  It is consulted on the Composite connection.  (PC is a new computer from Dell with Vista desktop loaded)

  2. Australia region
  3. choose antenna
  4. Select digital terrestrial
  5. Select Yes (for the view through a decoder, because the other option does not find my signal)

  The only way I know to bypass the need for a hardware device to IR during the installation of Media Center to watch TV is to use a "virtual" infrared device  There is one called "Vista MCE IR Blaster" is a file that you download from the Internet that simulates an infrared device.  You will need to do a search for it.  Or you can buy the hardware Media Center application relatively cheaply online, on the USD $20.

  Try these steps and check if that helps:

  I have a Verizon FIOS set-top box (Motorola) and installed a Hauppauge HVR-1800. Through the installation the first time I came across the roadblock "IR hardware not detected." Large. Went out and bought a WMC compatible remote Vista with an IR blaster/transmitter. Plug the USB key, hit the green button WMC, it works. Try to install again. No signal is detected here either. I can get my tuner card to find the STB, but it's the darn IR! I don't want to spend a lot of money, buy a NEW card or ANOTHER remote control, but I want to sort this problem... I have a Vista compatible card, distance, etc, so I don't know where is the problem. :(

  It's my whole first time attempt to install a tv tuner and set up and I have difficulties. I try configuring a hauppauge hvr 1850 in windows media center on windows 7 64 bit. My TV provider is directv and windows media center detects my decoder when it searches for tv signals. It does not detect my tv tunter as well, but he says no signal and I have to configure manually. After you manually configure my tv tuner, I get another message saying "ir hardware not found." I tried a lot of workarounds and none of them does not seem to work, I have a windows media center certified remote provided with my tv tuner and I can control everything in windows media center, but it stops said ir hardware not detected.   Hello.  I finished the upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 earlier today.

  While the upgrade went OK, Media Center can't access hardware IR for a reason any.

  I always get the IR hardware not detected error message.

  I do not anything with the prior agreement of material or after the upgrade.

  I'm running on an E9150T and I think IR's eHome Infrared Receiver via USB.

  Any help is appreciated as I did not find anything Googling for the last two hours.

  Problem seems to be resolved.  Do not know which of the following has solved, but I made the following two tasks:

  1. connect a second infrared device on the second port of the IR Blaster.  Previously, it was empty.  Alone, this does not solve the problem.

  2. the system to reboot.

  I own a Satellite M40-145 since 2005. After more than two years without any problem, two weeks ago the 80 GB hard drive to the original address has been damaged. So I had to replace it with a new, 160 GB (this replacement was made in a store because it's out of warranty).

  I used successfully on the new HARD drive recovery CD to install Windows XP and all the drivers (just as when it was new).
  I used Partition Magic to create a partition of D for data. Also, I installed Office 2003, Norton 360 and connected to the Internet.
  It worked quickly with only small problems than perhaps with little patience I could fix: as this Bluetooth hardware is not detected and the wireless switch began with the lights off even being in the position we (it worked with new just switching out-lit again). But suddenly, after only one day of use, Windows starts became very slow. It takes about 4-5 minutes until it is possible to use the laptop.

  Now, I tried many possibilities to solve the problem, but always ending on the same problem: I used the recovery CD again and try to use the computer with or without updates (I thought that maybe the problem was due to a bad update), with and without Internet access, etc.
  I also tried in vain the program Microsoft Bootvis to try to speed up the startup, etc.

  I even created an image with Acronis to only with XP and Office running fast, so that I could install it again and try new things.
  I also tried to clean the registry with various programs like CCleaner, TuneUp 2008
  Also the defrag JKDefrag and PageDefrag. But always returning to the same problem after a few days of good conduct.

  I don't know what else I could do. I wonder if maybe the new HD is damaged (although I test and no error or no damage was detected) or if the update BIOS might resolve this problem (I'm not and that's a big risk).

  In my view, that there is nothing wrong with the software or all drivers on you laptop.
  I think the key is the enormous size of the HARD drive.

  The difference between 80 and 160 GB is huge.

  To my knowledge, the BIOS supports a limit on the size of HARD drive and I really wonder why the 160 GB HARD drive has been recognized by the BIOS.

  However, I think you should test a 100 GB, 120 GB HDD if the same question perhaps if poster using a HDD a size smaller.

  I kinda a strange problem, the company that I work received point on the toshiba Satellite L755 PSK2YE and a box of vodacom K3772-Z modems for distribution to our customers.

  We picked up that these modems are not detected at all when plugged in the port of USB3 laptops left side (we tried 3 modems on machine Ong 3 with the same result each time)

  Modems work perfectly well when it is connected to the usb ports on right 2 and all the rest that we connected to works of 3 usb port very well including older models of modems.

  I also tested the modem on another machine of 3 USB (also using the usb controller 3 renesas) and it works beautifully.

  I have notcied that if you disable the usb controller 3 on the laptop and turn it back on with the stick of 3 g connected to the unit is detected correctly however if you unplug in and try again once it does detect it yet.

  It's using the latest drivers and firmware.

  I tried to find a solution online but had no chance.

  Any ideas what could be the cause?

  From my point of view it would mean for computer laptop USB 3.0 port works correctly and, possibly, there is a compatibility problem between the modem and the USB 3.0 port. Maybe you should contact check the modem manufacturer support page for more information

• Bluetooth device not detected - HP Pavilion G6-1139TX

  Yesterday (January 7, 2012), I bought a HP Pavilion G6-1139TX. I installed Windows 7 (32 bit). Everything installed properly, but the system does not detect the Bluetooth device.   I had the same problem Bro too. Here's what I did,

  Google code as 'BCM20702A0 driver '. Then try to catch the driveridentifier site link (sorry bro m not at home to provide you with exact link.m via my phone right nw.)   Try this:

  1. Go to devices and printers.
  2. Right click on the device icon and select control.
  3. Click on sign out and then sign in.

  Also, make sure that both your phone and Bluetooth hardware is on detectable.

  Your computer may be defined as detectable by right-clicking on the Bluetooth icon in the system tray, click on show settings and check the Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC box.
