  My name is Tom and I have a Toshiba Satellite A300-23d for about six months. Yesterday, I used a HDMI cable to attach my laptop to my LCD to play abit on a higher resolution. In addition, after a while the PC crashed and rebooted itself with an error appears on the screen.

  I tried several times to reset and start it again no success at all. I get trying to boot my computer is:

  I searched a bit using Google and I founded a few interesting articles on this BSOD code 0 x 00008086.

  It seems that the only solution for this problem is Toshiba Recovery disk now. I mean normally repair option would also be my first choice, but if you get a blue screen too, you don t have other options now.

  Then enter the Toshiba Recovery disk and boot of it. It can restore factory in a few minutes. Don t forget your whole HARD drive will be erased.

  I tried thing and my Toshiba Satellite A300 keeps closing during the game. It s due to overheating but I ve open the laptop computer and cleaned inside including fans and I ve cleaned the fans so many times and it still overheats.

  I know that my fans aren t at 100% speed is there a way to increase their? (don t tell me to use the fan speed or whatever the name of that program because it doesn t work for me.)

  Check the system requirements for the game. Satellite A300 is not a high-end gaming laptop and maybe some new games couldn't work on this laptop.

  I installed a game (Jekyll & Hyde) and I played it with the pc cable hook up to electricity. After a while (I think only an hour) the computer turns off! After that was not possibel to turn it on nothing! No light was on the same battery icon nothing complitely dead! After about 10 minutes instead of the icons light was on and so I was able to restart the computer. Windows XP doesn't give me any error on the "blackout" reports the system. I restarted the game and play with him for about two hours without any problem! If you have something (hihihihi) understud my question is:

  Whay you do that I can do so that this accident will not happen more? Is there some test or newspaper or something similar I can read to see if there is any hardware/software problems?   Set the BIOS to boot from the installation CD of Windows XP, but just after loading the drivers and files and just before
