  Open Acrobat Reader DC, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> General-> uncheck "Open Documents in the new tab in the same window.

  Now, reboot your system, when you open multiple PDFs that all will open in a new window so that you can easily compare.

  I generally save my psd files, but because the files are very large in this format I usually save another copy in a jpg file which has a much smaller file size.  This makes it possible for me to add to a presentation and and send them to my client.

  Is possible when you save the psd file to put an automatic jpg file saved at the same time?  Or that I always have to do it manually?

  In a few minutes:

  

  Quickly would be to lasso. (I like to use the Lasso tool in these cases a lot because it's faster to deal with the Quick Selection tool).

  

  I like to alternate between black & white and onion skin much to compare. (It's a bit like compare a layer mask on the document itself using Alt/Opt + clicking on the layer mask thumbnail in the layers panel, it really helps to find what being hidden or not).

  

  The subject on a white background. It is not perfect, but it is certainly not bad for a quickie.

  ON EDIT: I forgot to add: O and K are the keyboard shortcuts for the peel of onion and black & white views respectively when in some and mask. Easier than clicking on the view.
