What is the fax - for 20 number for free

Have you first registered the printer to eprintcenter.com? I would like to print information pages and make that first, it will send and receive faxes through eFax more smooth. Also, be sure to customize the email address of the printer during the installation on the eprintcenter.com site. To print the page of information for this set up. Tap the icon in the upper left corner of the screen of the printer that looks like a piece of paper with a target behind her. Then select the print report option, and the page that prints will have the printer code and instructions, you must set up ePrint for the printer.

You need to register from the front panel of the printer to get the fax number and the free account set up. Once you enter the information under the efax icon, it will send the PIN for the eFax account provided during registration personal e-mail address.

To register, tap the eFax icon in the lower right of the display of the printer. First time users will need to select Save, then accept the terms and conditions of use and then complete the information requested on the screen (e-mail, name and zip code).

The fax number is not local, but it is free of charge.  Once registration is complete, the efax screen will come with a keyboard and a field where you may be able to start sending faxes. In the left corner, you will see your fax number on the screen of the printer.

    Hello @mcbrighde,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand you are trying to join the instant ink program, but need assistance in obtaining your printers code request. I would like to help.

In order to get the printers claim code, you will need to have the printer on a wireless network. An ethernet or LAN connection will also work. This will give the internet access to the printer so that the ink levels can be monitored.

You need not remove your USB connection for the printer on the wireless network.

Once the printer on the network, tap the icon of ePrint/Web Services to enable Web Services and acquire the printers claim code. The icon you are looking for is in the lower left corner of the screen printers.

  • eFax: not connected to the internet error

I have a Photosmart 7510, running on Windows 8 (which shouldn't matter, since my question).  All internet connections are fine, except eFax custody claiming that I am not connected to the internet.  I have tried to change the DNS by hand, reset the cable modem, router, and web services and even to set the printer to the factory settings.  Nothing works.

    Hello

Try to use another DNS such as Google Public DNS server and check to see if that can help you:

Set the DNS server in the printer as follows:

    Primary: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary: 8.8.4.4

Also make sure your location is set correctly, it can strongly influence any web related services.

You can to set your region of clickign configuration icon, and then select Prefereces.

Click Set country/region, and then select your location.

  • eFax already register, cannot connect to the internet.

After tapping on the eFax print application, you receive error message "unable to connect to the internet, please activate the web services or connection eFax app."

Steps below are ONLY if your eFax app had previously been setup.  A problem of synchronization as the eFax print requires HP Web Services to connect to the server.

Note: eFax Soft printing is ONLY available pre-installed on select HP printers.

    1. press on the icon of web services in the upper left corner of your printer.

For the brief moment the printer say loading its actually re-sync with the server ePrint to load the email address of the current x.     You should be able to press home, then press print eFax app for the previously saved eFax number.

NOTE: ePrint service: STOP will cause the same error message as ePrint is required to connect to the internet.

    Press settings.

Tap ePrint, then tap activate ePrint characteristic of service.

Try tapping the Home button, then select eFax print app to see a previously saved eFax number.

Note: If it does not, the selection to print the report in the web services menu above requires the printer to reconnect to the ePrint server and automatically resynchronize with eFax server.

    2. If the previous steps do not resolve the "cannot connect to internet" error message, you may need to adjust the network settings on the printer.   See post below.

  • When you try to print photos or turn them into a book, I constantly get the message that I 'am not connected to the internet"when I am clearly, via wifi.

PHOTOS, Version 1.3 often gives me an error message "you are not connected to the internet" when I am clearly, via wifi.  This happens when I try to print a photo or to place pictures in a book.  (It also happens when I ask to export a photo on the desk, but then it is exported, despite the error message.) In the preferences of pictures, I chose "download the originals of this Mac", but the problem seems to be when the photo of the cloud recovery.  My operating system is up-to-date: 10.11.3.  My desktop Mac is mid-2010.  I take quite a few photos, and maybe download them to the cloud and then download them to my computer takes a long time.  That's the only explanation I can find.

You have activated the iCloud photo library and selected the option to optimize the photos in your local library?

If Yes, then the Photos is a download full version size for use in the book, print, or share via email, etc.

    8. try to activate the web services again.

Configure a manual DNS for your printer:

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser on your computer.

    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

    4. on the left, select network.

    5. Select network address (IP)

    6. Select manual DNS server

    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

Please reply to let me know if these steps resolve your issue.

    Hello RealGomer,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

If I understand your message your Officejet 8100 is more connected to the Web Services and you have tried to assign a manual IP address of the printer.

In the link you provided I have not seen any information about which server DNS has been used, because it is usually the cause / root of the problem, try to enter the DNS name of 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4. To enter, you must be in the Web integrated to the network printer server.

If this DNS information do not resolve, I'll get another for the DNS installation program.

    See you soon,.
