Re: Equium A210-1AS - blue screen and cannot start

My computer was working fine, I stopped him, the next time I start up, it shows windows loading screen, then a second a blue screen flashes by, it restarts and repeats, I stopped and began to tap F8 until the advanced boot options appears, safemode ect... None of them work and lead all the blue screen If I select the repair option at the top 'Repair your computer' it begins to load with a background of vista and a cursor and then displays the error "the installed program cannot start. Click OK to turn off the computer. »

in Advanced Startup Options that I try "disable automatic restart in the event of system failure" and the rest of the blue screen to the top, so I can see, it shows an error on usual blue screen, read:

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
STOP: 0X000000ED (0X85DDA600, 0 X 0000000, 0XC000009C, 0 X 0000000)

I don't have a recovery CD, as I believe, there is a recovery partition, but I don't know how to access it-
I use Equium A210-1AS
Part number: PSAFJE-005005KS
Windows vista 32 bit

Thank you

I know know that the recovery partition is consulted theough 'Repair your computer' but shows just "the installed program cannot start. Click OK to turn off the computer. »  :/

  • Blue screens and slow start

My computer is currently running, but I had a devil of a time with him yesterday.

Sometimes I will have a series of blue screen errors that restarts the computer. So, it will be fine. Sometimes I wonder if it is connected to recent updates (Windows, which are defined to automatic updates). Yesterday, when it restarted, it basically sat there and laughed at me. Startup Repair had no both times I have let it run. CHKDSK, which I had actually ran a few days earlier (because it had been some time) would be finished and end with "Unable to forward messages stored in the events with the 50 State."

Finally, by frustration, I just left it alone and after a very long time, it has properly loaded Vista. At this time, I backed up every last file on a pair of external HDs that I usually do anyway, I had.

I run a scan for viruses on a daily basis with AVG, Comodo as firewall and have like adware performance analysis with SUPERAnti-Spyware and Malwarebytes. None of them did anything about it, and since I'm not used to go to questionable sites even further, I think that it is nothing of this nature.

The list of startup programs/applications is already bent to keep the computer just bogged down.

I have not installed new hardware or software in the past months.

The computer is a Dell Inspiron 1525, purchased in November 2008.

Is this thing suddenly on me and die?

    Hello

Many files that SFC cannot resolve are not important.

Start - type in the search box-> find CMD in top - click right on - RUN AS ADMIN

put the command from below (copy and paste) in this box and her and then press ENTER.

    findstr/c: "[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log > sfcdetails.txt

who creates the sfcdetails.txt file in the folder that you are in when you run it.

So if you're in C:\Windows\System32 > then you will need to look in that folder for the file.

How to analyze the log file entries that the Microsoft Windows Resource Checker (SFC.exe) program
    in Windows Vista
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/928228

This creates sfcdetails.txt in C:\Windows\System32 find and you can post the errors in a message
here. NOTE: there are probably duplicates so please only post once each section error.

You can read the newspaper/txt files easier if you right click on Notepad or Wordpad then RUN AS ADMIN - then
You can navigate to sfcdetails.txt (in C:\Windows\System32) or cbs.log (in C:\Windows\Logs) as needed.
(You may need to search sfcdetails.txt if it is not created in the default folders.)

    I hope this helps.

    > I noticed that there was some discussion on overheating, bios and vista bugs. I'll update all device drivers tonight and the bios and see if that cures it. I don't know if there is no way to verify it is overheating or even if it's Vista bugs?

If the laptop automatically stops then this problem could be linked to the temperature inside the laptop

Usually an overheating may occur because don t cooling modules work correctly because of the dust and debris.
But according to your message, the laptop is not very old, and the dust should t be a problem

So in my opinion, you must contact the ASP in your country to control!

    This problem very strange s.
Could you please tell me if this problem occurs after you reinstall the OS from the Toshiba Recovery CD?
I read on several forums of Vista that some Microsoft Vista updates may have a bad influence on the touchpad driver
Therefore, it would be very interesting to know if this problem appears immediately after the use of the recovery CD.

  • Equium A210-1as turns off during the Bios flash

    Hello group,

My computer laptop girls off for a flash bios because of blocked fan (dog hairs dust etc.) and its fried bios chip.
I think that there is a partition on the Bios chip which can upgrade the bios in a critical state of flash using combinations of keys.

I tried all of this and have a laptop dead yet.
I contacted someone on the net that sells preloaded Bios chips and instructions to replace them, but I must first of all identify the chip on the card.
Is there any reading that can identify it for me on a toshiba Equium A210-1as... psafje-005005ks

Thanks for any help Paul G...

    Hi mate

Usually it s is not necessary to replace the BIOS ROM chip on the motherboard.
In most cases, the ROM module has to be reflashed again.
It seems that the module ROM was not properly flashed and the process interrupted
The technician of the ASP can reflash the module using a disc of the BIOS crisis.

I recommend you to get in touch with the guys from the ASP in your country and ask reflash BIOSES.

    Good luck

  • Equium A210-1AS: Windows unexpectedI/Oerror bootmanager status took place

Hi everyone, I really hope there, can someone help me today!
My daughter is in the middle of her GCSE exams and has a problem with its Equium A210 - 1AS.

It was working fine until last night and now all she gets while booting is:

    "Boot Windows display manager".
Windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer.

Thiserror can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device, such as an external USB drive while the appliance is in use, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD ROM drive which is a failure.
Make sure that all removable storage is properly connected, and then restart your computer.

If you continue to receive this error message, contact the manufacturer of the equipment.

    File: \Boot\BCD
Info: An unexpected i/o error has occurred.
    ENTER = continue»

She said she had her sex cam plugged and I tried to restart and reconnected, but this has not solved the problem.

There, can someone help me please because we are desperate to work on his pc!

Thanks a lot if you can.

    Kind regards
    A

    Hello

    > She says she had her sex cam plugged and I tried to restart and reconnected, but this did not solve the problem

Is this means that the laptop can not boot Windows OS?
Please disconnect any external devices. Then switch on and press F8.
Now you should see the advanced boot menu.
Please check if you start the machine in safe mode.

    Otherwise I recommend the BIOS.
Ensure that the HARD drive has been recognized by the BIOS.
If there is just no drive listed then the HARD drive could malfunctions.
If the HARD drive is there, so you must set it as first boot device.

If anything would help him, then a system restore would be desirable.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

    Thank you

In my opinion, this kind of problem has thousands of PC users with all kinds of laptops and desktop PCs. really nothing exceptional and there is no reason that a why this happens.

If now everything is Ok I see no reason to talk about this. Once again, if the same thing happen please report only and maybe we can discuss your problem.

  • Question about the power of the battery on Equium A210-1AS

    Hello...

the battery on my Equium A210-1as life is supposed to be around 2 and a half hour but it s more in 20 minutes.
    No idea why?

That sounds like a bad battery.
I think that Windows displays a fully charged battery or not loading stops at XX %?

If your laptop is still under warranty, go to a local ASP and allow your battery to change.

If your computer laptop doesn t have guaranteed, an ASP may also make a bid for a new battery. This part doesn't have to be so expensive.

  • Equium A210-1AS - it gets hot after BIOS update

Hey, I was wondering if anyone can help here...

Currently have a Toshiba Equium A210-1AS with BIOS version 1.80 worm 1.00PARTTBL 08/04/2008.

Given that BIOS has been updated for a long time in this version 1.80 the computer became hot very quickly and therefore the laptop performance declined.
I looked on the Toshiba support site and upgrade only version 2.00 was not compatible with this laptop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Short model number is PSAFJE
    Thank you

    Hello

I checked the site Web of Toshiba and I didn't see any BIOS update for satellite A210 PSAFJE. This means that an update of the BIOS was never marketed for this laptop, normally.

To me it sounds like that you have updated the BIOS with one version for another Equium A210. So, you should go to an authorized service provider. Technicians can install the right version of BIOS for you (downgrade).
