Re-install Windows 8 with AxshunJaxun Guide, Windows activation?

In his pinned post, AxshunJaxun explains how to reinstall some ISOs Windwows they provide, and then how to download the necessary drivers and software.

However, how can I activate Windows with this guide?  The links are to test Windows 8.  Any help?

It works!

Immediately when you start the installation, even if the hard disk has been deleted, the Windows Installer management of grown up the HP logo that appears at startup, likely out of the installation disc.  After a successful installed, (important note here, see below), Windows activated successfully, and I confirmed in the properties of the computer.

Important note: for some reason, the Windows Setup Manager, when you partition my drive, said that Windows could not be installed on the 1 and only hard drive in the computer.  Confused, I clicked next anyway, and he succeeded.

However, I had to torrent the file .iso image, instead of download from Google Drive.  I would like to remind everyone that simply by downloading the .iso image file is not illegal, and this download from a single source is not different from that of the other, as long as you ensure that it is not.

I have torrented this magnet .iso image file:

    Hello

the XP installation is very simple. Just put the CD in and to start the installation, the installation wizard will guide you through the entire process. A little advice: when it comes to partition the disk, delete the old partition, create a new and format it in ntfs. Don t worry, the installation wizard will guide you very detailed hollow that deal so it's going to go very easily.

Installation of Windows Xp from a usb key involves a lot more than simply copy the files from one windows on a USB disk. It is much more difficult than don't imagine most (but not impossible). I did it a few times. Read the instructions on the two links below. The first link below is your best bet. You are not likely to do things immediately. It's ok, we are here...

  • I can't dual boot my PC pre-installed Windows 7 with Windows XP?

I created a primary partition on my Windows 7 PC preinstalled in freeing up space. When I start my PC the Windows XP installation CD, Windows XP will in the usual configuration process by displaying the F6 option on the screen blue etc and it unloads the controllers and disks required.  However, when the installation phase starts, an error message appears: "a problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.  Continue displaying the error message "If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears the following steps - check for viruses, run Chkdsk.  It is followed by a time code error stop: 0X0000007B etc.  Please note that I checked my computer for any viruses and none have been reported.  I ran CHKDSK in guest of user privileges to administrator and windows has checked the file system had no problem.

It is important to mention that since I managed to install a copy of Windows Vista on my PC pre-installed Windows 7 without any problem.  I can now now dual boot between the two OSs.  Unfortunately, I can not install a new genuine copy of Windows XP on my PC.  I get the same old error message after configuring setup blue screen whenever I try to install Windows XP.  Now, it seems that I have to buy another PC to install XP despite the fact that I have a lot of space on the hard drive of Windows 7 preinstalled PC.  I am aware of the fact that Windows XP uses a different startup for Windows 7/Vista file, but my computer must always allow Windows XP install.

I am just totally baffled by the latter.   It is normally recommended to install Windows XP before Windows 7, but because my PC is preinstalled with Windows 7, this recommeded option has not been available to me.  I would appreciate any suggestion to this problem of people there.

    Thank you

"the SATA driver will be included in the Chipset Drivers?" - Yes they are generally at least that your SATA ports are connected to a separate SATA/RAID chip.

There are two good utilities to create a "SlipStreamed" CD
    (1) Autostreamer - easy to use. (Only not for the integration of the drivers)
    (2) nLite - which is more complex, but you can integrate drivers

  • I installed Windows XP Professional on MacBook Pro with Dell-branded OS. How can I legally activate it?

I installed Windows XP Professional on MacBook Pro with a Windows XP CD is a Dell machine.

I want to activate windows now, but I came to know that the Windows XP Professional license is no longer available on the market.

Please guide me this license to purchase to activate it?

If the Windows 7 key can activate windows XP Professional?

I don't want to go to Windows XP Mode because we have one standard on our local network for all PC is Windows XP Professional.

    Thank you

    Khawar Pasha

First of all - what you were doing was not a legitimate path in the first place.  The Dell OEM was probably already used on a Dell system at some point.

Second - to activate Windows XP Professional OEM, you need a product key for Windows XP Professional OEM.  No, the Windows 7 licenses will not help you.

Probably your only choice (and is not the best) is to locate someone sell Windows XP Professional on the Internet, find the provider that you can trust most, purchase and use of the CD and the product key you get to install.

  • I would like to re - install Windows Vista, but my drive does not all service packs. Download Windows Vista with service pack already on it?

so, I'm running vista 64 bit basic, I want to do a fresh install,

but my drive is very early (noservice packs ect) can I download of ms a basic family of complete up-to-date vista 64-bit with sp2 with my cd key? or should I shut up and make from my cd and cope? If I do a reinstall should I reinstall all my programs as well?

    Hello yaleblor,

You can download the full SP2 for Vista from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16468

Save the file to a CD/DVD or USB key.

Once you have the service pack downloaded file, you can use your current Vista CD to install a fresh copy of Windows Vista on your C: drive. Once you have installed Vista you can install service pack 2 directly from the CD/DVD or USB you originally stored it on. All you then need to do is to run the Windows updates to update your system completely.

You can find out how to do a clean install by looking at this link from my Web site: http://vistasupport.mvps.org/install_windows_vista.htm

After you install Windows Vista, you will need to re - install all your programs, so make sure that you have all the programs by hand before starting to consider reinstalling Windows.

  • Install windows on mac pro (early 2008) in other SSDS with RAID card

Guys, good evening to all the same time.

I get out of this crazy short, I ask humbly help.

    I explain my problem:

I have a Mac Pro (early 2008), with RAID CARD MEDIA

He does not then I "gave" to my mother who must use windows for work.

I'm out all 4 disks in RAID installed and mounted 2 - SSD OCZ Agility 256 GB.

one of them is installed OSX Yosemite. on the other hand, I want to install WINDOWS.

    and here the problems begin:

When I insert the win8.1 to proceed installation standard dvd (EFI not talked since the beginning of 2008), I get, when I have to decide on which disk to install and format windows, does not reveal the installed drives

After 2 days of tweaking, I was able to understand that this is a problem due to the RAID card installed, I also read that you just remove it and connect the SSD in one of the two doors empty ODDsata (and not in the 4 planned the raid card slots)

but still does not see the attached HDD / SSD, so keep trying and I think it's a driver problem and I need to install the AHCI driver, now, I'm pretty Nerd, but I still can't get.

Someone could want explain step by step what I need to do to install this * win on MacPro 8.1 designed for RAID card?

Thank you so much in advance.

I recently did a full format my computer and re-installed Windows software.  I can't access the internet then I downloaded the drivers and my flash drive to move them to the computer, that I corrected.  Now internet will not work. If you have problems with the integrated ethernet controller, you must download and install the chipset drivers nForce2 for any operating system you have installed on the PC.

  • Clean install Windows 7 with UEFI in dv6-7215nr

Hi, I would like to do a clean install of my HP dv6-7215nr Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 x 64 envy laptop.

To this end, I have 3 questions to solve some installation issues.

    1. What are the steps to clean install Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise intact in UEFI mode?

I tried to install Win 7 after the pre-requisites following:

    (a) not partitioned 200 GB free space on the disk (only 1 physical disk)

    (b) already installed Windows 8 files with UEFI

    (c) UEFI enabled

    (d) heritage disabled startup

    (e) secure boot disabled

When I Boot in UEFI of CD/DVD, I can't switch to the Windows startup screen, it just hangs. What I am doing wrong? Is there any other prerequisites that I don't know?

I tried to install UEFI with Legacy enabled Boot, and I installed win7 but I can't disable Legacy new Boot because Win7 boot and I want only the UEFI Boot and need for inheritance disabled.

    2. where can I download drivers for Windows 7 for my laptop?

    I found this topic:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-and-software/HP-envy-DV6-7210ei-downgrade-fr...

    They point to these drivers

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us & dlc = in & lc = in & product = 5273735 & task = &

I think I could use these drivers, but I need just in case where. I guess they should work as the product names are roughly similar (with mine).

    3. is it possible to Secure Boot with Windows 7 SP1?

I have no research on this so far.

Thanks for the help that someone in the community can give to me, it is not important all the problems that I have set in I can still do research on questions 2 and 3 and help others with my research if I can do it before a response. Any info you can give me will be too great.

    Carlos

    (1) ' secure Boot' must be DISABLED and 'Legacy Support' must be ENABLED to install Windows 7 and many other older operating systems. The bootable media must support UEFI boot to install on a GPT-partitioned drive.

You let people with DISABILITIES 'Secure Boot' (and 'Legacy Support' ENABLED) once you have installed Windows 7. Changing these options causes Windows 7 to start is no longer.

    (2) the Windows 7 drivers on the CTO Entertainment Notebook PC drivers HP Pavilion dv7t-7000 page you referenced, will work on your computer.

    (3) it is not possible to install or use Windows 7 with "Secure Boot" ACTIVE.

    WARNING *.

HP does not recommend installing Windows 7 on a consumer computer comes with Windows 8, and it will support the installation of Windows 7. HP cannot provide the drivers for Windows 7 and the appropriate drivers are not available for the hardware in the computer. In addition, Windows 7 can not take in charge some of the hardware or software designed for the computer.

Make sure you create your media recovery HP or USB Flash Recovery discs before you edit or change anything.

You will need to DISABLE 'Secure Boot' and ENABLE 'Legacy Support' in the 'Configuration of the BIOS start-up secured' on the page parameters below, until you try to install Windows 7.

In addition, as the hard drive is probably partitioned as TPG, you must start the computer by using the "UEFI - CD/DVD drive" or "UEFI - USB Flash drive" options in the boot menu "F9". If "UEFI - CD/DVD drive", "UEFI - USB Flash drive" or something to that effect does not exist in the start menu, please post a screenshot and/or make startup listed options.

I suggest using Windows 7 SP1 for the best installation experience. If you need Windows SP1, see 'How to install Windows 7 without the disc' to download and create your own disc of Windows 7 SP1. If the DVD does not start as UEFI, you may need to use a USB Flash drive (can ask "Quick start" DISABLING in BIOS) as the installation media. Please download the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a Windows 7 SP1 USB Flash drive. Please note that some computers may not recognize a valid active UEFI USB Flash drive if it is formatted in NTFS and may require only a FAT32 formatted USB Flash drive. You should be able to make a FAT32 formatted Windows 7 installation USB Flash drive using Rufus, UNetbootin, Universal USB Installeror WiNToBootic. I like Rufus, because it contains options for 'Plan of GPT partition for UEFI computer' and 'FAT32'.

If you have missing or unknown devices after installing the drivers, please post to the "Hardware ID" Device Manager (just the text string will do) to these devices as shown in the example below.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Please click the 'Thumbs Up' white LAURELS to show your appreciation

  • Satellite A300-1EG: problem with the touchpad after installing Windows 7

    Hello!

I had a problem with my touchpad since I installed Windows 7 (64-bit version) on my laptop (Toshiba) A300-1EG.

I tried many different solutions to this problem.
I checked the alignment of the touchpad (be it on) in the BIOS, I tried to install several drivers (on a site of Synaptics, automatically by Windows) and none of these work. Of course, I tried FN + F9 key combination.
When I check the alignment of the touchpad in the Control Panel, everything seems fine. It is written, that "device working properly.

I have Toshiba Software, what may be the cause of the problem?
But I have no idea where I can find something.

    I'd appreciate any help.

I hope to be understandable - English is not my mother tongue :) Thank you very much in advance for any ideas. :)

    Hi mate

I'm not quite sure what problem you have but you should first try to install the necessary drivers touchpad m.
Maybe you used the wrong driver in the past

So Sat A300-1EG belongs to the series of PSAG4E.
The European driver Toshiba page does not provide a special touchpad driver for Win 7 for this device.

But I noticed that Win 7 64 bit drivers touchpad (Alps & Synaptics) for Satellite L500 PSLS3E series is released on the European driver page.
Try both drivers Touch Pad for this device and test it!

    Hello

Unfortunately I have no drivers list, but on the download from Toshiba site you will find about 18 different drivers for your device using BONE of W2000. Check it on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

As far as I know, it won't be easy to do something without floppy drive. I have no much experience with the Portege series but you can try to make two partitions on the second, you can copy the OS disk and start the installation of this partition. Even if you do this, you must start the unit with the startup disk.
